Wow! Pam Ayers needs her own series - she’s an absolutely fantastic host!! I would definitely watch every show she’s on!!! This episode was wonderfully entertaining & informative! I especially enjoyed the life of the former Rock Star, it says a lot about him, the fact that he chose to walk away from his superstar lifestyle -- he’s made a great life on his beautiful farm!!
It’s 3:00AM. Couldn’t sleep. Started scrolling on Utube and found this. I’m so thankful. This is delightful! I live in South Carolina, USA but my father’s grandfather left Blackpool area for the southeastern mountains of America. So not very long removed from England. I’ve yet to visit, and hope it’s not too late. UK is in my prayers as is my own country. Meanwhile, this documentary is most informative and enjoyable.
Thanks for these beautiful and informative videos! Churchill visited and stayed in my hometown of Richmond Virginia twice. Once in 1929. And after The war in 1946. It is still remembered and talked about today!
Wonderful beautiful British places brought to life by a Wonderful Witty, Humorous Host... both very informative and entertaining... Please don't let those majestic Horses go extinct...
Beautiful..😅 so nice to see different parts of the world. Not so touristy with so many people you can't see the beauty?.just a quiet Canadian that would love to visit someday 😊 xx
Hi Dear, The wonderful informations. The history of England. So many lovely places and Beautiful royal places with English lovely perfumes ! So wonderful…I enjoyed. Keep going on and explore the UK? 🇬🇧❤️🇨🇦
Love the Cotswolds-spent three weeks there. Our favorite villages were the ones with few tourists. Bibury is usually packed but if you go around 8:00 a.m. you avoid the throngs. The church is interesting to go into as well-a woman caretaker c9ming out of it when we arrived gave us the key to get into it. Then you can do a circuit walk to the village of Coln-St. Aldwyns (there is a nice cafe overlooking the village as well as a pub) and then back to Bibury. Another great area is to walk from Lower Slaughter to Upper Slaughter or to Burton in the Water. We also loved the market towns of Chipping Campden and Burford. So many tiny villages like Castle Combe with a walk to Long Dean and Ford (there is a great little pub there) and back to Castle Combe. The footpaths are easy to follow and give you great views of the hills and valleys.
Pam, indeed this visit was imbued with your poetry. Your wit made it so much fun. It was so much more fun than when I was there in person. Greetings from the Southern States.
Thanks, Pam, your website was a great discovery for me today. Many years ago I was a student pilot at Little Rissington Royal Air Base (no longer there), and my oldest son was conceived in Stow-on-the-Wold.
So good! Thank you! I almost didn’t watch it because I thought you were going to “pastor bash” but I was so pleasantly surprised as to your conclusions and teaching. Well said, thanks again. May God continue to bless and enlarge the scope of your ministry.
I love cheese ! Almost all sorts, exept one. A sour cottage cheese style one. With caraway seeds... I'd rather have proper Gouda or Maasdam. Or a ripe brie. Or an angry blue veined one... Wich is your favourite cheese ? Love from Norway 😊❤
@@_WILDANDFREE_ Correction: the visual credit, rather than the RUclips episode description, is, in fact, incorrectly spelled. It quite clearly states ‘Cotswalds’. Your comment in reply to @barbarapeirson843 is excessive and misplaced.
You have to idea the extent to which RUclips will go to change spelling, swap in homonyms, even automatically insert misplaced punctuation -- to make people using its platform look ignorant and careless.
Ayres is funny when she acts naïve and deadpan reading her intentionally awful/hilarious poetry. Her fawning like this is not funny. It is phony nonsense.
Pam Ayres is a super guide!
Just love Pam Ayres banter and dry humour. Thank you for making this tour such fun!

Try Chimay, a dark beer or Smithwicks! Both are excellent dark beers!
Blur was a great band! 👍
Natur ( deutsch ) - Nature ( english ) - Natur ( schwedisch )
Очень красиво, сыры супер😍💓

Love from Norway 😊❤
Anyone know when this series was actually filmed? It looks a little chilly.
Cotswolds
Rich but seems lonely there. However, I love Pam
🎉
England my beautiful country has been ruined by useless incompetent Governments and treterous politicians😢
I don't understand the appeal of focusing on who's famous and rich or how much something costs. Just show the beautiful country and tell its history.
You don't but I do. So just watch
@@ketchyshubby nope
Pffff then don’t look, or you the person that needs to have critic to have a Nice day
how about you get the name of the place correct?
Calling the first Duke a soldier shows a basic lack of knowledge.
Like calling Churchill a politician.
Well I can tell what doesn’t make the Cotswold bucolic…..muslims.
The Cotwalds? LOL
It's 'Cotswolds' not Cotwolds or Cotswalds ... please use spell check if you want your channel to be taken seriously
Well said as the idiot americans would say.
It is spelled correctly. If you don’t like the channel you can leave.

How snobbish. I bet you've never made a mistake, have you?

Learn to spell Cotswolds.
From canada ! , !
