This Skegness walk takes us along the promenade and seafront starting at the SunCastle Restaurant and bar on North Parade.
As we wander down North Parade we pass the hotels and Bed and Breakfast businesses of the town, including the new Premier Inn, the County Hotel, The Chatsworth Hotel and the OYO Grosvenor House Hotel and more.
Further down North Parade we come to Skegness Pier with it's popular amusement arcades and cafe.
As we carry on down Skegness Seafront we come to Wellies Bar, Funland Amusement Arcade, and Skegness Pleasure Beach which has some of the best rides on the seafront including a really fun water splash ride!
Further down Grand Parade we come to 'Meanies' or Meanie BoBini's bar and grill which seems really popular in this town!
Next up is the famous Skegness Embassy Theatre which at the time of filming was still closed due to the recent issues, and then the Jolly Fisherman pub which was extremely busy as we passed it.
Over the road are the Skegness Amusement Arcades with all the best Amusements, cafe's and bars including the fantastic Busters Fun Pub which I went in after filming this and really loved! The staff here are fantastic. Can highly recommend Busters Bar for a beer!
No holiday would be complete without a walk down to Skegness Beach so we head down Tower Esplanade, taking a left at the famous clock tower in the middle of the roundabout.
Down Tower Esplanade we can see the adventure golf attraction, numerous donut and ice cream stalls and the RNLI Lifeboat Station, before we arrive at the beach where we wander over the sand to take a look at the sea.

When we visited here we stayed at the Grosvenor House Hotel which as you can see is pretty much right in the middle of all the fun here, and is a fun bar right opposite Wellies Bar.

The cookhouse are a lovely restaurant, we ate there every night, during our week's holiday in July 2022. Food was great, as was the service. Our waitress over heard my sister & I toast our deceased mums birthday that evening, we got a complimentary drink from the management, which we thought very considerate.

I went to Skegness 3 months ago just before they closed for the season best day out ever going back in June
Its fab isnt' it - the beaches are sooooo big - never realised how big till I filmed this one!

Love the place so many shops. A great place to take the grandkids for a holiday. Too much to see and do in one day we can't cover it all in 2 weeks. Looking forward to holidays one with the grandkids and a one without.

It was nice and hot when i was there last September for 90s reloaded at Buttlins even had a cheeky cocktail on the beach and then visited the sealife centre before heading back to Buttlins to party hard lol
I really want to go to one of those weekenders! Are they good fun?
@@GimbalWalkTV yes they are they start on a Friday with a launch party then you leave on the Monday morning along with everyone else nursing a hangover I've got a few videos
I just love Skegness. I haven't been able to go for the years now and I'm getting a yearning to go back. I was due to go this year but the virus put and end to that. Maybe next year. I get there, sigh, and think "I'm home"! :) Love the videos!!!

The savoy is a great place to stay lovely clean and comfortable bedrooms and you won't need KFC for supper after evening meal big portions all home cooked family run hotel stayed in January going back there in April couldn't fault the place xxx
i can remember sleeping under the pier at skeggy after ridding in a gang in the 70s we used to go for a weekend dancing and boozing what a place it used to be

My sister & i last holidayed in Skegness in 2021 & hopefully will be returning in 2024~ hopefully to a better hotel, we are both walking impaired & need to hire mobility scooters. The last hotel we stayed at were not very helpful & very rude.

Looks very clean and tidy. There looks a lot better than it used to do really made the effort looks like that but I can see what I have it. I can’t save it just out there got transport in there is it is the entertainer any entertainment on at all in a pub, somewhere or something groups or something something to live in the place up a bit in there yes it looks a lot better in skeg I’m quite surprised so far I bet your shoulders thank you for your trouble. You must do some hours of walking as thank you

We lived in Boston, Lincs, for a few years in the late 70's and Skegness was a day-trip place for us, fond memories.
How about doing Great Yarmouth?! Or even just Boston for the Pilgrims and Boston Stump?

Where is the fish and chip shops? I love fish and chips at Skegness and mushy peas and around. Can you show us them as well when you get round to it thank you my love.
Only problem with skeggy is lack of parking. Especially now they have put a premier inn and KFC on one of the main ones.
I got lucky and just parked on the street right outside the Grosvenor House Hotel opposite the pier!

Oh so the buses I’ve not seen any buses up and down Somerset the bus half an hour every half hour into Skegness from the hotels. Is this correct not seeing a bus at all I thought no buses at Skegness thank you. Could you check this out for me thank you very much sums up describe

Where is the father of the Fountain? It’s up near the clock somewhere I’m not seen that. Is that where the old towels. I was well. Southview Othelle is it that way. Not sure why that is yet. Nerdy the Fountain. I can never understand why they put all these wind turbines in the sea right in the middle of Skegness. There are hundreds of miles of coastline and they put them just offshore where all the day trippers and holiday makers go.
I'm a fan of them personally! Think they're really ace!

If you do visit Swanage be sure to do the walk up to Old Harry’s rock. Whether for a video or a personal stroll the views to Studland, Poole Harbour and Isle of Wight are absolutely outstanding and even better in the sunshine with Kestrel hovering above.
I can’t see any buses open down can you do one of the hotels south view hotel hotel please I’ll be very grateful thank you there’s no buses. The buses into Skegness from the photos are not worth going if there’s no transport if you get off the train it is a taxi is outside of customers to get into a taxi to go to their destination outside the train station thank you can you let us know I’m here please thank you
Can you do one on the hotels in on the buses Southview hotel so many times it’s alright there is this correct can you check it out for us most grateful thinking about coming and SBC they’re telling see what they’ve got to offer thing to do a rock ‘n’ roll there.
