Absolutely the best Venice travel tips kind of video there is online. I am a Venetian working at an hotel in San Marco and to share this video with my customer would probably solve 90% of their doubts. Very nice guys, keep up this great work, much appreciated.
One of the best and well-presented travel videos. Extra marks for the concise point-by-point info, overview maps, all superimposed info on screen for easy reference. Liked and subscribed!
I recently went to Venice and I personally recommend to stay outside the city along the train line. We stayed in Mogliano Veneto in a hotel called The Foscarini and it was cheaper and way better than any reasonable priced hotel in the city center, plus the rooms were fire. We got to Venice by train in 25 minutes paying 3 euros, and the station was just 2 minutes from the hotel. As far as Venice itself it is amazing and you tips are very accurate
If you can afford it, on your first visit I'd stay on the island. It's part of the fun and the experience. On subsequent visits, yes stay along the railway/tram/bus lines.
if you want to enter the city by boat, you will depart from Punta Sabioni from time to time. And it comes back at intervals. There is parking (meaning Punta Sabioni) which is valid until midnight on the day of your arrival and is € 7. There are special shipping companies and you need to make sure you are on the right company ship. This takes you to the beginning of St. Mark's Square. Very nice town. McDonalds is only at the train station (experience). Whoever goes and reads this is fun. (If there is a spelling error, sorry. Google Translate from Hungarian to English.❤️
as already said for the video on Italy; Well done! I wanted to add a visit that is rarely recommended because it is only in the morning and by reservation: the secret itineraries of the Doge's Palace. With this visit you understand the grandeur of Venice.

Finalmente un video esaustivo della mia città.. aggiungi un tour di "baccari " , ogni baccaro(bar and food) ha la sua specialità, provare per credere...
I have been to Venice a few times. My best tip, which is what I did last time: stay in a hotel in the lovely town of Padova, it will be much cheaper than staying in Venice. Trains from Padova to Venice run fast and frequent
Or Treviso, a beautiful medieval town 20 minutes of train away from Venice. My favorite, it’s called “little Venice” because of the little rivers, very fascinating
Such a good idea, do you need to advance book trains from Padova to Venice for a cheaper ticket or just head to train station & take the standard price tickets?
Thank you so much for all this info. We have been to Venice three times and will be back there next year. So much info that we can use next year. Venice is a must see and should be on everyone's bucket list.
So informative! Love it!😊 I usually look up a lot of information on places we are going and this video helps. Though our trip will be on a cruise so hotels will not be a problem for us, and we will be in Chioggia’s port, we will most likely lose some time traveling to Venice.😢 I can hardly wait for our adventure!
Treviso is a great spot near Venice with airport as well. You can find a great apartment like "palazzina trevigiana" or "chiarano home" near the train station and then go by to Venice easily because are only 25 minute of train. Treviso is a super cool city as well, so I think is the best way to visit 2 great city in one trip 🎉
WE loved Venice, But the one thing we found out back in 2006 was when taking the train you have to get your ticket stamped before riding!!! Cost a lot when we found out the hard way!!!
I was there 2 weeks ago, I fell in love with that city. I took the boat from the airport, I recommend it, and stayed in the city, I figured if I stayed out of the island I’d spent the hotel difference in transportation. As of 2023, Italy is so cheap for Americans, an Aperol Spritz for e$4 is nice. Not the same story at top night clubs in Ibiza though, I paid e$24 for a glass of whiskey at Pacha.
Thank you so much .This video is the great I ever seen .Your video very rich of information and definitely help any body want to visit Venice .again thank you for shearing this video.
The most important part of this video is pick pocket safety. Especially in large crowds. Make sure to keep your important belongings close. However... if you see a young man in pink, with blond rigatoni hair... then it's too late
around 30 C + and very humid...a bit like a steam sauna that doesn't change much during nighttime. I think late August/beginning of September is the best as it gets a little more bearable. Also maybe a bit less people during that time as the high season is ending. Of course it's very difficult to predict any weather nowadays ;)
One thing I've seen in other videos is DO NOT wade barefoot through flood waters. It's the same water that countless boats drive through, so its quite polluted. It might sound silly but if you don't have rubber boots, use garbage bags (briefly shown in the vid). Also pay extremely close attention to where you walk because flooding can sometimes make it hard to tell where the sidewalk edge is and you might fall in a canal.
Gotta love these tips! I used it before my trip! We even found an area that reminded us of the secret entrance of the Leaky Cauldron :D It's in our latest video but I used so many of your tips! And made some of my own too :D
So looking forwarded to head back to Venice and this time gonna do daily vids on my new channel ! love watching you tips cant wait to get back to the gorguz island 🥰 love getting lost !!
80s Freak 7X7 at which airport are you landing? And are you planing on taking the bus or the train? 😳 i dont know which one to take, im arriving at treviso
@@CanniiSmiile I'm arriving at Marco Polo. There's a coach transfer from Treviso to the parking lot in Venice I think and you make your own way from there. We have a hotel in the centre so we'll be taking a water tram. Hope this helped 😊

does that meen that after ffirst september there will be another fee?
It's been postponed again. Will start January 1st 2020. And in autumn it will be revisioned. It's still a mystery how it's going to work.
So, is it in place now? I'm visiting for my honeymoon at end of May, we are staying in Mestre.
Seems like an impossible task to charge every person entering.

Definitely staying on the Island is the way to experience true Venice
Thank you, thank you for saying this, because I was questioning my choice of staying in the city center or not.

I have never visited such a unique, magic and beautiful town in the world 👍🏻🌞❤

''Completo'' is an italian word. I do not understand what do you mean with it here (Complete? whole?).
Completo is indeed an Italian word and was used to refer the completeness of the video. Thanks.
