Walking away is often difficult for some people. Their disposition is delicate and it could see them engage in self-harm.
A softer alternative is to Fade away.
Remain friends but focus on yourself. Reduce communication, reduce activities together, reduce conversations, reduce contact in whichever way possible and gradually, you will feel less morose.
The other person will also lose interest in the relation and the separation can be mutual.
Within that timeframe, you will focus on yourself, heal, grow and glow and raise your Energy. Find your Purpose in life. Adopt new hobbies, a new career, make new friends, etc.
This can be effective if you want the other person to lose interest and depart or if you want to remain as friends but walk another path 💫

It really is hard to do because if I call someone friend, I'm saying I love you and because I see something wonderful within them.
If my love and good nature are disrespected or betrayed, then walking away is the only option available. Although tinged with sadness, it is necessary to stand for myself.
Walking away is a sad option. It could lead to self -harm (anxiety, depression, health issues, etc.).
A softer option on your heart and soul is to Fade away.
Reduce communication
Reduce contact
Reduce activities
Focus on new hobbies, friends, career, Purpose, etc.
This is a process of self-healing and growth. Gradually your focus is shifted away from the other person.
Likewise, the other person may lose interest in you and Fade away too. The loss is reduced on your heart and you may separate as friends rather than foes.
This means the friendship can be but your path is new and renewed, especially for you.
Walk forward. Do not look back. That is not the direction you are taking 💫

It’s recognisable in my situation. Still I have ia deep love for him and I know the good , but very traumatiste child. It go’s very deep. But distance is the only way to heal and revolver from the pain in the heart. Don’t victmize yourself but send your love and light to them. It’s a spiritual Path and lesson you are going through.
