No Display/black screen after Bios update fix

- No Display after Bios update on Asus motherboard, I was about ready to buy a new processor and motherboard until I pulled a stick of ram and had display again 🤷🏼♂️ I'm not sure why this worked or if this is strictly for Asus boards but hope this helps somebody.

This is literally the only thing that made my bios work. So many other huge youtubers and online MSI support didn't suggest this. You saved me from so much extra wasted time

I just tried this, it didn't work at first, but then I tried taking out all the sticks of ram instead of just 1, then it finally worked.

What should I say to you, 24 hours of depression, keep digging and trying every method, silly method of shorting M_BIOS chip with a wire and searched everything on different forum by googling. Watching different videos on RUclips and Gave up, tried to sleep but he keeps popping in my mind, then suddenly jumped into this short video and saw your comment that why not? Guess what just removing a dimm, allowed me to reached my corrupted bios. So thank you for your comment and also thanks for video uploader. BRAVO

I'M LAUGHING BECAUSE THIS FUCKING WORKED LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL. 7 FUCKING HOURS UNPLUGGING and replugging shit, updating, and then i fucked up ny 5900x cpu!! I had to go to fucking WALGREENS TO BUY TWEEZERS. Took another 30 min drive and purchase, got some mcchicken, they ran out of mc fucking flurry!! Spent another 50 minutes fixing the pins with the tweezers!! Finally fixed it. Then spent 2 more HOURS getting the pc to turn on!! Watched this and said TAKE OUT ONE FUCKING RAM!! LOLOLOLOL it works 😂😱😭😭😃
the cost of building pc's is sometimes the stars aren't aligned or some shit and it doesn't boot up

I only have this problem with this shitty MSI B450 Motherboard. Only solution is to remove all RAM except one. Try to power the system. If the BIOS shows up, good. If not. Install the second RAM in 9/10 times it works and it's only after that i can install the other 2 RAMs. Really pisses me off.
I only have 16 gigs or ram and my pc turns on but no display and I can’t turn it off at all so what do I do ?

Turns out i didnt have to remove ram my xmp was turned off after bios reset and had to turn it on with proper voltages and boot drive wasnt selected to ssd had to change it and it booted to windows

Bruh now the question is. After making it work only with one stick of ram. Will it work if ypu put them all back?
You saved my fucking ass bro! I updated the bios with the previous cpu, all was ok but the new cpu wasn’t showing image, so taking out one ram stick it solve the image problem and can finish set up. Just as an addition, if you have secure boot enabled and it shows a message about the key being lost for chaning the cpu just press Y and update time and date, save changes and you’re done, first boot and then turn off and place the second ram slot back in.

I took the cmos battery out, got the computer to beep on post. Black screen though. Rebooted it, and boom got it working again
did you put the cmos battery again after booting it without the battery?
It worked until I put the stick of ram back in and now it's not showing again

I didn’t understand the last part of the video… I have to remove on ram and then update bios with usb stick? Is that right?
If after you updated bios and you get no display, power off computer and remove one stick of ram, then turn power back on if you get display back you should be good and can power back off and put ram back in.

After bios update if you have no display/ black screen try powering down system remove 1 stick of ram, power back up if it worked you will have display it will complete bios update, then you can power back down and reinsert ram stick and power up and be good to go

If u have 2 sticks of RAM swap them (RAM 1 will set in stick of RAM 2 and RAM 2 will be in RAM 1)

How do I do a bios update I can’t use my keyboard or anything and it doesn’t even turn off at all with the power button do I still do what you did ?
You update it through the bios UI, just search your motherboard make and model update bios on RUclips

Did you try removing a stick of ram, and rebooting? Maybe clear the CMOS
Vga is a gpu problem check the pci express slot or change the gpu and try again

My problem was solved guys, actually i have connected a faulty monitor with cpu after that i connected a new monitor and it's working fine ☺️

Well.. I’m actually f*cked, I just build a 2k new pc updated my bios and everything was fine I then restart it to install windows and now I don’t get any display. I’ve tried everything and this and still nothing. Wow I’m actually F*CKING F*CKED
