    This was a really good tutorial.
    You explain and show everything you're doing in a very simple way, this video was very helpful.
    I think I'll actually try this.
    I was going to use silicone for a tail for a doll but latex seems to work as well (and might even be cheaper).
    Thank you 😊

    I love how you made the mermaid tail I've been wanting to do a mermaid doll custom for a while not but didn't want to have to go through the whole taking off the dolls legs for it. The tail looks amazing and so realistic I'm so happy I found this video while scrolling through over customs. She looks so amazing and beautiful great job. Love love this how did you make the silicone mould was it easy? Does the latex last? Will it break? Can it be used in water? Will paint come off and what paint? I wana do one for a muse doll. Can u make one for muse Barbie? But with a big fin

  • @paady
    @paady 5 лет назад

    So many questions gonna try myself have clay and just need latex, sealant, shimmer, silicone and a design. Mines gonna be long and thin with a big fin see through! or a hook blue mermaid fin like the film

    In your video with the blue doll you used thick liquid latex... how did you set it so thick? In this video you poured two thin pieces and put them together in the other you used a silicone mold but didnt give instructions on how to pour the latex or anuthing

    Did you try to add some pigment to the latex instead of painting that tail later? I am afraid that my airbrush will stop working after this mixture of latex and acrylic paint :D Can you tell the exact proportions of latex and paint? Thanks! :)

      Did you use latex btw??

    • @MyMiniMonStudio
      @MyMiniMonStudio  6 лет назад

      If you mean use latex as a glue for assembling if use natural color latex we don't need this but depending on the brand if not sticky enough to hold each piece together so it's needed to add fresh latex milk as a glue.
