@@lukehillwood to expand on your comment: mules and sumpter horses are both pack animals and add 100 each (not sure about cows, havent had one yet), I mainly have sumpter as they are usually 1/2 to 1/3 the price of a mule Spare mounts do 20 each but provide the move speed increase. Note 1: pack animals don't qualify as spare mounts, and thus don't add the move speed bonus. Note 2: bonus appears to be about 0.02 each assuming there's a footman to ride it, listed as footmen on horses under party speed, which is in the expanded lower right hand corner menu. I assuming the bonus is limited by the number of footmen you have in your party. I have yet to get more horses than footmen.
Matthew I haven't found a camel myself yet and I was all over the desert looking for one to test heavy bags and light bags. Thank you for the heads up!
Good guide ive been making money trading beer and livestock mostly. Then once ive built up a decent army ive been plundering border villages which have netted me a couple thousand each. Have 48k now and want to experiment with caravans but not sure how that system works, same with workshops if anyone knows that would be appreciated.
I have a video explaining a small amount about the Caravans and Workshops, however the test time was low. After another 8 hours I can state Workshop is greater than Caravan. I will have a detailed video after we finish with the daughters homeschool, later today!
So what I know right now is that it is 15k to hire 29 Caravan guards and you must send 1 companion as well. You can talk to a merchant in a city to start it. I do not have information on the returns yet however.
@@rewindxk As far as I know, the caravans are a major hit to your income, you have to pay the wages of the troops in the caravan which are like 300, and after 7 days you start getting money from the caravans. But this amount of money is only like 100 per day.. meaning you lose 200 a day and 15k from building the caravan. But that's not even the worst part, you can't even disband the caravan. It's just gonna be a permanent hit to your income.
I'd say buy a workshop for 12k-15k and set it to produce whatever surrounding villages produce the most (you can check this by hovering over the village (not it's name but the actual place)) and you'll earn about 50 - 200 everyday.
@@Snizzyyy So far it seems you are right. I have hired one and for what feels like 10 days I have been paying their wages at -268 with 0 returns. Thank you for the early heads up! I am sure this comment will be hugely useful to a lot of people.
Haha thanks! In the first Mount and Blade I played as Peanut Butter the Barbarian. That name was too long for Bannerlord so here we are with Einstein, the 7 foot tall Economy pumping beast.
There are a few trade skills that can make it so Caravans and Workshops gather some info for you. As shown in this video however you need to have visited the towns recently to see that information, talking to some villagers in town can also uncover small bits of information but it is time consuming compared to just travelling there yourself.
Thank you my guy for actually making a video explaining how the trading system works. Gonna help me out a good bit.
I hope it gets you started well! Going to be sharing everything I learn, thank you so much for the comment Mr.Chewy!
Horses, not cavalry but just horses increase carrying capacity
Mules to be precise

Pack camels are cheap and can carry 100 each
Thank you for the information Luke and Sam, I have made a short video on Horses specifically to help spread the information!

you should buy mules if you need capacity. each mule increases it by +100. horses only give you +20 or 30
This is the best idea! I made another video covering which horses work for map speed and which work for carrying. Thank you Humanhead.

Car Banseth to Dunglanys, Marunath and Seonon is reliable cash, you can buy furs/hides and sell to them.
Appreciate this! Do you know how the caravan works?

@@rewindxk You're welcome, I hope it gets patched though as I would love to have the entire map covered in my caravans haha

Got 50k by doing tournaments
It's fixed, now we can just get around1-2k per tournament :(
