Great content and video as always! A short video with the stock rubber would be a nice touch and welcomed. Maybe discuss different motor options or swap in the other motor to see how it performs as a comparison for the viewers. Thanks for keeping it fun Greg! 🤙🏻
Awesome review, I would of loved to of seen a bit more indepth on the upgrades you used especially that servo saver.. I put these tracks on my CC01 just to do something different when I rebuilt the truck and as I am now moving back yo Canada I look forward to using it as a winter rig after watching this. Would be cool also to see it on tires with all those upgrades just to see the improvements if any
I was certainly going to run it. But the whole mud puddle or regular crawl session was weighing on my mind. The mud action was fun once…. once lol. Major clean up ahead. I won’t do that again with this rig lol.
@@rcdriver I get that , it’s not advised to run RC in winter , but in Canada winters are long, we always clean and dry the cars when done , use penetrant etc. even then, certain cars I don’t run in mud/snow
Great video! Great seeing what you did with it! 👏🙏 Aren't the shocks a little stiff? Oil to thick? 🤔 It looked like the body was shaking/jumping a little too much. I know tracks have less dampening when compared to tyres...
Do tracks have a speed/gear rating to keep from potentially damaging them? I know tires can expand and have more give, but with all the stuff in the tracks, is there potential stripping or binding? Thanks for the content Greg, great vid!
To be honest I didn’t see anything about a rating in the manual. I could have missed it. But of all the tracks that have crossed my path, these are well done. They have a solid plastic base so the tabs key into track unit pretty securely. Then they have the rubber inserts that provide the traction. I ran this setup around the house on a 3S pack and it still didn’t throw a track.
@@rcdriver Thank you very much for the reply, it was something that always gave me a little concern with track vehicles. Especially the old Tycos with the rubber tank tread when I was a kid, LOL!
Has anybody found good ways to put the servo on axle, or other solutions to fix the sloppy steering? I don't think the servo saver is the problem, but that there's no panhard bar.
No offense but these tracks look like rubbish. I have a Yikong yk 4101 non pro with the Zero hobby tracks and also a QuicRun Fusion Pro FOC, on 2S with high gear it moves, on 3S, it absolutely rips. What I paid is far less than just to get into a Traxxas tracks. If you haven't already, please check out the 4101, it has 2 speed, locked diffs, portal axles and comes in a pro version to lock and unlock diffs. Extremely well made rc imo.
Still not sold on tracks, but the cc02 is such a great rc! Love it
Yeah, tracks are not an all the time thing. But in the right conditions, fun for something different.
@@rcdriver I agree Greg. I wonder what my xmaxx would be like with tracks.. just for a while anyway!
Maybe you can try the rovan baja snow tracks
That looked like tons of fun. The tracks looked really at home in the snow and dirt. You did an excellent review. Keep up the good work!
That thing zips along pretty good for a tracked vehicle

Looks like a bunch of snow and mud fun brother.😁👍
Really enjoyed watching this today, that body looks amazing
Looks like a blast to drive. It really moves.
Awesome with trax. Very cool!!
I would love to see a brushless Trx4 with the traxx rip around
Really cool👍 Totally would do the tracks!
Awesome vid today! Muddy and awesome!
Thank you Sir.
TEARIN' IT UP! 👍😎👍
Really cool content. Perfect conditions for that rig.
Have you seen or heard anything about the Trx6 Hauler and accessories for the bed, wideners, duals etc.?
Very interesting build,I think it definitely needed the 15 turn motor to give it some decent performance👍👍👍Keep up the good work.👍👍👍😎😎😎from the U K.
Yeah, was a little worried the 15 turn would either be too much power or burn up. Wound up being just right.
that is super awesome!
Definitely need to see it run on tires.
@text-6281 what's up Greg? Is this for real?
Quick question I was wondering if you new the part number to the front bulkhead on the erevo 1/8 and can I use one off a 2.0 or are these different
It’s nice to see what it can do , after all the time and effort building something. No point sitting on the shelf

Awesome video love your content please keep it up👏👏👍
I really think the Quadtrack Landfreeder should've been a CC02 instead of the TT02. Maybe someone made a typo when sending down the orders 😆
Yes to a rubber tire run! Where can I buy that hoody from?
The Tamiya USA website has the Hoodie.
Great video! Great seeing what you did with it! 👏🙏

That was the tamiya soft oil. I think like you were saying the tracks make it a bit more rigid.
Looks really nice Greg and performs pretty darn good, Great content as always 👍🏼 💯
Yeah, gotta say it performed better that I anticipated.
@@rcdriver I agree 👍🏼
Sweet!
Nice

Looks like it was leaning for some reason?
Is this 1/10th scale?
Yes, Tamiya has it listed as 1/10.
