... maybe, did not have such a type of plastic so far... have a ton of different glues here. Not that important, wanted to make some brackets out of styrene to be able to mout (screw) voltmeter and push button. But did also work that way, used thin servotape to stick the voltmeter to the side of the ESC and it is also held by "clipping", cut a tight fit space for it into the "fake-motor". And push button mounting was surprisingly easy, small notch into the plastic stand, press fit, perfect (plastic is very flexible, as you know).
Hi great info as always! I got a C34KM shipping to me now, I was wondering if a 2s lipo made any significant performance over the li-ion 2s in your case?
hello what battery it takes? I recommend two lipo cells or three cells? more than anything else I would like to know the size of the battery that I should order thanks !!
2s (7.4 V) is sufficiant. 3s (11.1 V) is very, very fast. You can take nearly every small 2s battery up to ca. 1000 mAh (and larger). What size is depending what you want to store in the compartment. Do you only want to store the battery there, or battery and receiver, or battery, ESC and receiver?
@@donaldsneffe hello, thanks for having replied to me, the kit is coming to me, where would you advise me to put all the rc compartment? battery receiver etc? also to change the engine and put a brush ?? you would tell me the ideal components esc battery? sorry but I'm on the phone and I struggle thanks! I also saw that you installed an inversion kit

Here on the pictures (posting 1) you will find the exact dimensions of the compartment: www.rockcrawler.de/thread/40987-wpl-c34-toyota-landcruiser-fj40-bau-erfahrungen-mods-und-upgrades/?postID=1174525#post1174525 So if you only use the comparment (cut the wall) for batteries and put receiver and ESC on another place, you can get more than 1000 mAh 2s and 3s batteries with appropriate dimensions in this large compartment. Depending on dimensions of batteries, of course.
I think that you'd need a PVC glue, the type that plumbers use for gluing plastic pipework.

I never used anything else but Lipos. But in a crawler Li-ion should not make any significant difference (in contrary to a heli or race drone).
@@donaldsneffe Good to know, I got 2 li-ion already so I'll hold off on getting lipos for now 👍
Hello! When you switched to another receiver and drive, do you think it worked more tactilely on the throttle at low speed? thanzs!
This is only depending on ESC nd not on receiver. Better than what before? Did not switch, but could use other, better ESCs.
