I friggin love this girl cuz she explains it perfectly! She take the time to break it down & explain the difference between the right way vs the wrong way, she's just awesome that's why I subscribed she's the best & her vibe is a trip lol I love it!
I love my shoulders (and traps and triceps and biceps and…😂) from consistent training this last 6 months. I’m getting compliments, feel stronger and am stronger. I had spinal surgery years ago so avoided any lifting but knew at 42 I needed to make the effort. I turn to MDJ for advice & tips. I’m female & trust me muscle can still be built in your 40s ladies & it also helps keep my mind calm as we are going through changes hormonal aswell as keeping busy with work life and family 🔥💪🏻
Yep , old builder here. I have those caps at 60 this yr , train smart Isolate the movement A push pull routine over head pull downs , bent over skiers Those push that rear into place Lateral incline raises against the bench .. pinch it .
Totally subscribing, I am 37 yo, married and mom of 3. I love how you describe and breakdown. This is all new to me, I used to be all about HIIT and fat burn, but now I love weights, and didn’t know there was a name to having the delts look like that 😂. Telling my husband the new thing I learned today 😂 also, I am home gymer ❤️
Bar/Dumbbell shoulder presses are a waste of time and energy. They only work the front deltoids, which already get blasted on Chest day. Focus instead on side delts and rear delt movements ... better yet, make rear delt training part of your back day routine... and add side delts to your chest day workouts. That provides more rest, for higher intensity training = more growth. This strategy took me to National title wins in the 90's, it can do wonders for you and make your workout time more productive.
Watch Mike Israetel show a sloooow lateral raise going past shoulder height. Killer and very effective! Also he & Jeff Nippard show cable lateral raises with a higher set point for the cable. Slow is the name of the game having watched them.
I just watched that video too but I don’t think I’ll be incorporating past shoulder height just yet but that video was informative and I enjoyed the different perspective
Love your video. You gave a great explanation for each exercise. Could you cover the sets and reps you aim for. Helps all of us understand your level of excursion for these moves.
Been working on my since 2019😮 and nowhere near shapely lol they are former but wow it has got to be genetics as those calves are amazeballs & mine are just stubborn 😂
Capped shoulders come from the front and rear delts. Always train your rear delts first and train them to the highest intensity. You want to get an even more insane burn from doing seated shoulder press, swap the barbell and dumbels for kettle bells and do them inverted.
@@allthecommonsense your side delts while being the longest make up the smallest of the 3 to provide that capped look of the heads. Your front and rear will give you that 3D shoulder look people train for. Especially the rear delt as that helps pull your front delts back so you don't walk around the gym looking like the hunch back of Notre dame.
I’m 62 and I love the look of the caps! And I’ve been wondering how to grow them! This is an excellent video!!! I’m in pretty good shape and I do have definition, but I don’t have caps like that! Keep up the good work!
I'm 52 and have been training well before you were born. However I'm still learning better techniques and how to perform better workouts from your vdieos. And particularly your Deltoid training upload! Thanks You Maddy You are a Canadian Cutie Pie❤
Excellant videos to help people workout. been working out for 40 years overall. Competed in bodybuilding for over 12 years. I don’t understand the need for some women wearing tops that look like bras and bottoms look like underwear (esp buttock view when bending over) when they work out? It surely doesn’t give you a better work out?? I’m truly glad our gym has dress attire limits.
I am curious with girls who do serious weight lifting,, are you going for the classic men shape, inverted triangle, or the classic woman shape, hour glass? I am seeing the inverted triangle in this shape.
Girlie! I love your videos and your shorts. One request though, do you think you can write in your description the outfit pieces that you are wearing as well as the sizes? I am interested in getting the shorts but I don’t know which item it is.
Just discovered your channel, great exercises! Do you have an alternative for Exercise 4 for the rear delts if we are not at a gym but have dumbells and barbells to work with at home
What's the difference (in form) between the Seated DB Press and Incline Chest Press? Trying to make the most of these two exercises and get the delts to delt!
She has great energy but I have to say 4 out of 6 front delt exercises seems way too much personally. Especially since you have all the pushing movements from chest exercises on top of it. Also, although very subjective I think facepulls is the worst reardelt exercise. Cable cross-over reverse flies, (downward Y) is the best I think, for me. For lateral raises I think leaning towards a bench is better if you do with dumbells, but the best lateral raise exercise has to be with cables because of the constant tension and progressive overload capabilities.
...well she is wrong on lateral raises, yes it is fine to go above parallel with the ground. You will lose tension but all that tension will come back 10 times stronger on the eccentric which is the real gains are made. Raise the dumbbells before you hit your sides so you never lose tension and you get an insane pump
What a weird comment😅 she obv has more melanin on that part of her body, usually people dont tan 100% evenly or dont have their natural skin 100% even everywhere. TL/DR she is human :)

Thank you so much! This means a lot to me🥹
Basic knowledge and common sense is the key to success 🤷start at the bottom and work your way up to improve better and greater results 🙌😊
Tip. After you do military shoulder press til failure, start doing push presses to rep out a few more.
Agreed! 👍
Failure is not an option, you only fail if it's not done properly 🤷

Capped shoulders come from literally the side “caps”. Not front or back. Lateral raises.

I'm lovin' this video! Fantastic advice/tips from the REAL DEAL🔥💪 you're great at explaining in detail, make a lot of sense. Ty!! ☺️
This is excellent. It seems like very good advice, and she's charming without wasting a lot of time with excess commentary, repetition and lame jokes.
I like putting my knees right up to a bench to prevent my body swinging. And go slow up and down. Agree with lighter weight too. No ego lifting.
You’re a refreshing face to see and an awesome vibe, love it!! Tell it girl💪🏼💃🙌🏼
Very detailed with humor, inclined presses my favorite

That was EXTRA good. I subscribed!
Thanks! Doing shoulders tomorrow ❤
Love your video, i'll add all excercises to my workout plan immediately❤ thank you so much!!!
If you aren't already doing these what the hell have you been doing for delts? 😂

In my gym I'm only able to use the machines and I'm not ready to use the cable tower yet. Are there alteratives only using machines?
Where is your necklace from? I absolutely love it! Amd the exercises too 😅 but I was immediately in love with your necklace!
I workout at home and don't have access to machines. I use kettlebells. Do you have any kettlebell routine for shoulders. Nice video.
The Lebe Stark channel has a lot of good content for kettlebells..
@@susaville I don't like him as he bitches on other channels.
Check out The Bioneer also, lots of kettlebell moves for shoulders on his channel

What exercise do you do for abs trying to find a good ab workout?
I’ve been working my shoulders for 30 years but you’ve inspired me to add and also tweak some things. Thank you!💪🏽👊🏾
