Hey Mads, it was great to see you out "enjoying" the slalom challenge again - as you say it's kind of addictive once you start! You made a good stab at it with the TT02, even if the steering was sh!t!!!! And the Grom looked a handful, too. Your times were actually pretty good, I am sure you can beat me with a decent handling rig. Cheers mate and have a great weekend there!
Thanks Mark! Yeah, I am a sucker for these challenges, and for some reason I like the slalom challenge better than the speedruns. I will definitely strive to do one more this year before winter, I already know which car I'll be using, he he... I'm struggling a bit with the weather at the moment, rainy days sort of ruining all my plans, I have the DT-02 ready for a speedrun, but can't do it in bad conditions, heh...
Thanks Tony! Yeah, they were soooo different, it was very weird... I left in the clip where I had just gone from the TT-02 to the 14th scale, it was completely weird, he he...
Slalom driving is harder than it looks. I think the 'addiction' comes from the drive we have to self improve. It was good fun to watch, and always something to learn!
Thanks Craig! Yeah, I got something coming up, hopefully before the end of the summer, ha ha! Yup, go watch Sean's video, that Fantom just crushes everything, and it is so graceful, effortless, it is awesome!
Good run Mads! The TT01 and 02s steering have always been sloppy out of the box. They do drive better with the essential alum steering upgrade. That little Grom sure is quick and looks fun to drive! I’m sure your times will only get better the more you do this. Have a good weekend my friend.👍😊
Thanks Sean! Yeah, this TT-02 is actually fully upgraded on the steering, the problem is rather that the wheels are quite big, around 80mm, so pretty much buggy tyres... And the suspension was really stiff, it was my speedrun shocks on it, I got a set of better shocks to put on it soon. Yeah, the 14th scale buggies are awesome, possibly my favourite at the moment, apart from 8th scale, ha ha!
Hiya Mads! Just catching up on content..... been a hectic few weeks. Great to see you getting back out there on the slalom buddy..... and yes, can totally relate to the draw of a challenge and the quest to better each time! Rather you than me trying it with a TTO2.... sack of potatoes? More like sack of sh#t!!! 💩 I hate the TTO2, especially it's sloppy torque steer!! 😂 You done really well there with both of those buddy. 👍 Looks like Sean is still at the top, albeit not with a rally car! Fun video Sir. 👍 👍 👍
Thanks Yoda! Yeah, I'm behind with watching also... Thanks for catching up on my stuff, looks like you took them in correct chronological order, ha ha! I'm really enjoying Mark's slalom challenge, although it seems the speedruns are what most people are drawn to, perhaps it's the prizes... Yeah, my TT-02 is actually fully upgraded in every possible way and has a very tight and responsive steering, but it's the bigger wheels that limit it and I needed to drive it hard, which is of course a good thing... I look forward to try this again with an even better 14th scale 4wd buggy, hope to get sub-nine seconds, maybe even sub-eight... No-one will ever beat Sean's Fantom, he he!
@@madsrcbuggy Cool man..... yeah, there's so much content getting pumped out at the mo, especially with all the speed runs. I like to properly watch and comment on all the channels that I am subbed to..... but it's getting hard keeping up at the moment. I've been binge watching a few different channels a night, and yes, chronological order is essential mate! Good luck with your next slalom, I got an eight second run in with my vintage 959.....but am tempted to try with some of my buggies over the autumn! Avante, Top force Evo, Astute, Turbo Optima, Optima mid and the RC10 B6.2!!! But for now, one last run with the DT02 to try and catch you and Mark, then onto the poor boys rc challenge...... where we are planning something totally INSANE!! 😂 All the best from the UK 🇬🇧 Mads! 👍 👍 👍
Thanks Jeremy! Yeah, I really like this slalom challenge. I came to the realisation that I won't be setting up a track this year, so I was happy to give this a go... I have at least one more car to try, should get my time down a good bit, I hope, he he...
Yeah, man, try it! Try with your LC 12th scale, it'll be awesome... Yeah, the servo is from a Slash, it is total junk... Sorry I'm so slow to comment back...

Nice work there Mads, glad you were about to just about tame both of the cars! Both definitely had their challenges!

Thanks buddy! Yeah, it's not easy and as we could see, I am not really very fast, but I can't stop, it's that addiction, it just gets at me, ha ha!
Great stuff Mads! Keep going brother 🙌🏻 I missed Sean’s time!!! I am heading over to watch that now…. Perhaps I need another go at this 😁
