Oh Mads, i just loved this video, it nicely summed up everything about this challenge and trying to make a TT02 go fast! Many thanks for the Birthday wishes, mate! I feel your pain and probably experienced all those experiences that you had! But at least you got your goal, well done my good friend! Love the edit on this one, it was a ton of fun for me at least! Flippy floppy Tamiyas! You crack me up, dude! 😎👊👍
Thanks Mark! Yeah, it was a bit of a tough one, these couple months, for us... I got off to a good start, but especially one crash threw the car off balance, and combined with my own drop in effort, it was a proper recipe for disaster... My autumns are always really busy with real life responsibilities, so I didn't have the time and energy to put into this, so in the end it became a bit halfhearted... But I got my 83 km/h in the bag for 2023, I am happy. 2022, I went 59 km/h with the Lunchbox, in 2021 I went 64 with the TT-02B, and in 2020 it was 45 with DT-03. I do love speedruns, just not too fast, ha ha!
Funny stuff, Mads. I like how it clearly wasn't edited at all... Hahaha! Brilliant! - But thanks again for participating in another speed run challenge. Always great to see you and your videos. Cheers, pal!
Thanks Fil! Yeah, sadly I started being too busy this autumn, had too many real life responsibilities, so my effort in this challenge dropped. I am happy with the speed I clocked official on your challenge, and I am happy to have achieved my 83 km/h. I like speedruns, just as long as they are not too fast, ha ha! Thanks again for arranging this, my friend!
Hi Mads. I think you have summed up what most of us have been through during this challenge. Very well done for getting to and beating your goal. All the best my friend.
Thanks Rob! Yeah, it was a tough one, this... Lots of frustrations for me, also partly because I wasn't able to put the full focus and effort into it, too busy autumn... I just wanted to crack that 80 km/h barrier, and I got it, and the 50 mph also, I am happy.
I feel your pain Mads!! We had a run just like this a few days ago, but like you, we persisted and finally cracked the 50mph target!! Determination pays off buddy. Also like you, our car is now totally f****d!!! 🤣 Turns out they don't like being driven into a curb at 50.88 mph, nor do they land well when they go 20ft into the air after hitting the curb! 🤣 😂 Well done mate, we are both officially in the nifty 50 club! 🤣 👍 👍 👍
Yeah, man, thanks Yoda! That 50 mph barrier was a nasty one to crack, but we got it! Even if it cost the car, ha ha... I'm happy to get back to playing with buggies, after this onroad nonsense...
@@madsrcbuggy Agreed mate..... Buggies and monster trucks for us!! I'm definitely not a fan of the TT02, but it was a fun and highly entertaining few months eh bud!! 🤣 😂 👍 👍 👍
Hello Mads, You had quite a few crashes there. But you hit the 50+ is great. But you did a fantastic job out there even when you got frustrated. Take care my friend.💯💯
Ha ha, thanks, Al! A few... I actually edited out a few of them, too... That car got the beating it deserved, ha ha! Yes, like you said, even with the frustartions, I did get my 83 km/h and beat that 50 mph mental barrier, I am happy about that!
Thanks Damian! Yeah, excellent is a bit of an overstatement, I sort of huddled my way through the challenge... I started well with a good car, very well built and balanced, but sadly got damaged, and my focus sort of drifted... But I got me a good number in the end, so I am happy... And happy to get on to some buggies now also!
Thanks Craig! Yeah, for me it was a tough one, I had too much going on, and didn't put the needed effort into the challenge, and of course my result was a bit meh... But I got my 83 km/h, I am happy!
Thanks Thad! Yeah, it was easy to begin with, but as the power and speed increased, so did the difficulty... And my effort dropped, that is also very relevant...
Thanks Duke! Yeah, it was a big relief to at least have met that target... It will become a very different machine, but might be a while before I start work on it...

Thanks buddy! Kind of like a fail compilation, ha ha... I was happy with the end result...
Well done Mads!

Great runs Mads!!!!!
Thanks Uncle Bob! Yeah, not really great... More like good enough, ha ha...
