It’s flat out insane, I’m glad I got the boost ready at 3K on this one, I may see if he can send one without it at same 1.5 bar and power mode C just to see how it performs. I have a lot of work cut out here 😅
Hahaha that’s sick, yeah man I wouldn’t want the gun shots thing for a daily, I think the burbles he has is absolutely perfect. Sounds like a stock high end super car. I could only imagine with the Borla / downpipes. The pops tune will be some good content but I won’t daily that, it’s very loud
That opening was bad ass…then boom😆 all good. Rule one on aircraft always check control surfaces and hardware before putting in the air. Keep up the great work👍
Yes more Lozic vids! Their order page is so confusing. If you can explain boost ready and all the other features that would be so good. Also do you plan to remove this for dealer visits, and the TCU too?
Yes I will remove them for sure, it’s super easy to remove, esp the TCU. Boost ready is essentially eliminating all the turbo lag. It is very aggressive and I’m still testing it. I haven’t launched with it yet. If you want to nerd out then know that boost ready starts at 3K RPM on this tune, the other one I have is always on. The turbo swing valve is always closed before reaching the target boost. Boost outside throttle is always high and the boost rushes in the throttle is opened making it much more responsive. Some people do not like this, it is very aggressive. A major seat of the pants difference. With the throttle tune and TCU tune, sport mode is not really a daily option bc this thing is insane. Comfort is perfect and significantly faster than JB4 map 3 was with e30. More to come , I need more time to record and edit these videos
@@twn2rbo can you do some dragys of launch, 1/4mile and maybe a 100-200kmph? I'm currently getting 11.9x on jb4 map3 in my genesis g70 with a stage1 tcu tune. I'm interested in knowing what it can be like with a proper ecu tune.
@@Pratagraph absolutely, I was getting a 12 flat in map 3. It feels faster but only one way to find out with the Dragy. Unfortunately we’ve been getting rain storm after rain storm lately, but those vids will be coming
You should try the old wrapping the head of a bolt with a piece of paper/shop towel then push it into the socket trick. This will hold a bolt in any position you want 😉 A lot easier than using a magnet IMO.
tork has the ecu tune for $300 and tcu tune $100 bucks and he will take the top speed limiter off for no charge and the spark plugs just need to be gaped at .28 instead of the .22 make a hell of a difference over jb4 on map 4 and the car mpg is not change at all
Killen it Bro! Love the content. I just installed a tork tuned TCU and waiting for the ECU. I will also be running the JB4 in map 6 but mainly to control my WMI with logs a bonus. I did my first launch with the tcu tune lastnight and it pulled like crazy off the line, a little wheel spin but I'm AWD so it just took off. Never felt G's like that in a car before (haven't been in a tesla yet). The next big thing on my mods list is suspension stuff, you planning on doing any upgrades in that area? BTW thanks for going through the details when you talk about stuff, I'm a details guy and it's much appreciated.
@@yonatanimmanuel2316 no way, I would never send a stock ECU to a tuner , Lozic will send you a spare tuned ECU. If you purchase a brand new spare ECU it’s about $908 from kiaparts.com. Spare ECU from salvaged cars are hard to find obviously bc it’s a more rare car on the road. You want to have your OEM ECU in case you need to service it.
@@yonatanimmanuel2316 I bought a spare TCU from KIA online, not cheap. I was able to find an ECU on eBay that matched my model number exactly for like $300. For ECU Tunes you need to have your original ECU copied to the other and then that one gets tuned. TCU tunes don't require to be copied first. Not sure how that works with Lozic but that's how Tork does it. Needless to say I would never tune the factory ECU or TCU and would always pay extra for spares.
Planning to get Lozic’s evc catback exhaust and now considering the ecu tune for the burbles. However my car is completely stock otherwise with stock cats, etc. Do you think that the burbles tune will be safe? Also do I need to have HKS spark plugs for the ecu tune?
Maaan... Please change my mind. I am about to sell my car. I love my stinger. But its rwd. I'm tired of it being "kinda fast, but kinda not". Spent a week with my buddy's m550i and that's just a different league. Never was a bmw fan boy, but it seems like I am becoming one in a month or two. Checked your videos and now i see potential in stinger.
They are a little more intense and definitely louder. There is a guy who has a 2022 with stock exhaust on RUclips , he has the burble tune and does revs with valve open and closed. Sounds amazing. Not sure what your setup is, but if you have a Borla with downpipes you will hear them a lot louder
Hey good finally meeting you in person Saturday at the Illinois meet and for everybody reading this, Nick is a down to earth brother and loves to talk car stuff. One question, does the TCU tune get rid of ISG and the speed limiter or do you need an ECU tune for that?
Likewise! Yes, ISG disabled is an option and the speed limiter is off. ECU controls the speed limiter, A guy in Germany who just got a Lozic ECU took a pic going 188 and said there was more left
Are your mods ecu tcu catback and intakes? No down pipe or intercooler? Im guessing mid 11 second quarter. I have a bone stock gt awd. Can't wait to see those dragy numbers bro
It’s addicting, my avg MPG is 12.2 right now 😂 the next video is M3 burbles vs Tuned Stinger . Might title it battle of the burbles . It’s almost done, that and auto start stop are two functions I absolutely love. Boost ready is insane
First mod? I would do an oil catch can, then spark plugs followed by less restrictive air intakes. At that point I would tune. Exhaust will help also. If you do intakes, look at the AFr enclosed air box intakes that connect to the front snorkles, they are more of a cold air intake compared to the Injen or any other open system that sucks in hot air. There’s another one out there to VR performance I think makes. They are all around the same price too

What do you think numbers would look like, I have fbo and jb4 rn. Would it be an upgrade with lozic tcu & ecu with jb4 installed or would there be no use for jb4 besides viewing boost & temps etc.
The TCU with the JB4 is a sick combo. You can monitor the tune and make adjustment with map 6 and dial in the boost curve better with the JB4 as well as record logs.

What Gap does the HKS spark plugs at
They come at around .026-.028 which is plenty fine to support the boost. I’ve never had an issue with them running up to 24lbs.

22 psi is to much for the stock bottom end bolts. on long pulls you may also start pushing coolant.

MBRP only, I may be adding some secondary downpipes soon to bring out the burbles a little more 😎
