Awesome video. My instructors recommends keeping the knees touched at the beginning of kick. But i see complete opposite in your video. What does generally works?
Great question! At the beginning of the kick the legs should be the hip width apart. If the knees touch that's fine, if not - that's fine as well, as long as they are not too far apart. During the kick - again, you don't want to drive your knees too far apart, but you won't move much keeping your knees glued together. Great question! At the beginning of the kick the legs should be the hip width apart. If the knees touch that's fine, if not - that's fine as well, as long as they are not too far apart. During the kick - again, you don't want to drive your knees too far apart, but you won't move much keeping your knees glued together.
