That yellow Swiss Bianco Yeoman is the perfect EDC for me. Just ordered a Compact and a Explorer (plus brass rods in the correct diameter) to make such a Yeoman myself. And end up with a Climber as well, makes a nice gift.
I have both as well! SB+ Yeoman and Yeoman Mechanic! I want to carry them but consider them part of my "prized" collection. I carry either the Compact or the Sportsman as everyday carry.
Compact, Super Tinker and Explorer are some of my favorites as well. Like you I consder my Yeoman my collection and do not want to mess up. I carry Swiss champ on P-7 clip for last 5 years. Thanks for the awesome comment!
Thank you for the comment! I carried the Explorer for a while and really liked it. The Super Tinker and Deluxe Tinker are also really nice. And the Compact is really incredible for its size. Since discovering the P7 suspension clip years ago, I have carried the Swiss Champ. It's crazy to think you would use most of the tools on the Champ, but I have probably used everyone of them at one time or another. SwissChamp and rambler are and amazing combo. What do you carry Vic wise?
@@kidwilson3357, I currently rotate between a Fieldmaster and a Soldier 98 for outdoor and indoors respectively, but I'm looking at other option, specially Pioneer X. It's nice to note that Victorinox have options for everyone.
Thanks for the comparison! I would prefer the Swiss Bianco since it has the Philips in the center. Makes it nicer to work with 👌 For tasks that require pliers I would have to get out my Leatherman Charge from the backpack. Only carries that on my person when I do home improvements or build stuff. So of course the mechanic is interesting..but think the pliers lack a little in performance for what I would need though. I do carry a 4 layer SAK with the help of a dangler clip and don't mind it at all in a pair of jeans. Also have a Manager on my keychain but honestly end up having that one on me indoors as well. Complements the Fieldmaster with smaller drivers and a nail file. Totally disappears in the coin-pocket 👌

@@kidwilson3357 Feel like I need to try out that P7 clip. Kind of pricy but would be totally worth it if comfy enough. I don't mind that I'm gonna need the toothpick to get the tweezers out. But I want it to be proper deep carry. Would you say it's deep carry?
@@nosreuter Hi I just this comment. It's not too deep of a carry/ With the p-7 You really forget you have a knife at all. IT does not impede my ability to reach into my pocket and grab whats in the bottom of the pocket. The p-7 is great.

The screwdriver in the middle is a better position, but the original has a smaller point which is better for smaller screws

The Explorer is decent, but at three layers, the old Yeoman is more EDC-friendly. It definitely should return. Good video.

Yeoman came out in the mid 90's and retired in early 2000's
