      The only valid concern is that victory formation is a tacit agreement to not hit each other, in a close game I would probably bitch about it because it's about avoiding meaningless plays where you could get injured though we were mathematically almost both out of the playoffs anyway.

    • @lilcameron21
      @lilcameron21 7 месяцев назад

      @@0Clewi0 agreed, but the formation is nicknamed the “victory formation” based of the history of the play being used primarily by teams who have won and plan to run the clock out. There’s no rule requiring it to be specific for that purpose only. “Unspoken” rules are the agreement to a verbal agreement, they don’t hold up in court. I’d say the same energy should be kept for “trick plays” because now you see, the “victory formation” can now be a trick play. However, trick plays are celebrated for the creativity. When I played football, you play till the whistle and you fight till the last whistle. As long as you do that, you’re good. The game is inherently violent so saying the play could cause someone to sustain an injury is hypocritical.

    As a Falcon Fan i respect this decision from the Saints. ITs been a crazy rivalry that i know the media doesnt pay attention to but these 2 teams usually beat the hell out of each other. I appreciate the disrespect even if you didnt mean it. feed the rivalry, make the falcons try and get the get back

      Love our blood rivalry and yes we hate y’all birds 😅, but that had nothing to do with running it up on y’all. The players and the fanbase want DA gone. He lost the team last yr if we’re being honest. So that was pretty much a f-k to our coach

      Seriously? respect the decision?...it's not about running the score up Falcon Fan...it's the ruse of getting into a victory formation and acting like you're kneeling and then running it in. That's childish bullshit man. The reporter called him out and he was right. Jameis pining this on the whole team because it was a team decision is BS. Jameis instigated the call, he tells his boys to line up and kneel, they kneel no question. There is nothing justified with what they did. You want to score? line-up on the damn line in a run formation and score. Classless move, and Karma is a bitch.

      Jameis is a clown. The problem wasn't giving the RB a TD, it was lining up in Victory Formation like they were going to take a knee to end the game. It's akin to two fighters going to touch gloves to begin a round but one fighter uses the 'respectful' glove touch to sucker punch the other fighter. Media didn't do a great job of arguing that point with Jameis.

    • @Ksmess77

      @@cj5517sorry to disagree but your analogy is off. In the before bout handshake of a boxing match, the bell hasn’t been rung yet, the bout hasn’t begun. If a fighter threw a sucker punch in that moment, they’d be DQ’d. in the case of this game, it was well under way and another score wasn’t going to matter. How bout the Falcons stopping them?

      A victory formation is a gentlemens agreement that the offense is going to take a knee to end the game and the defense lets them. This has always been the deal since they introduced the kneel down after the original Miracle In The Medowland.
      If the falcons D knew they were going for a TD and they lined up accordingly and got the TD which they probably would have then fine hey you got em
