I hope you play more of this. It's really fun to watch someone learning this game and getting better at it over time. There was no way you were getting out on that third run. For a brand new player getting out in less than 15 attempts is quite difficult and even 20ish attempts is pretty good for a first escape.
Quite refreshing to see Grubby play something that's not RTS or RTS-related!
Wow playing Hades and playing Dota 2. Loved Hades and I've also wanted to get into Dota 2 seriously. Hopefully you keep having fun in both

great to see you playing this game, its incredible. Listen to the soundtrack when you can, because its one of the best game soundtracks ive listened.
That was fun. Hades is an amazing game. It's not only fun to play, it has a great story. Hope you keep playing. I would recommend using a controller, the game was designed around it.

Fun fact about Hades not the game the god that in Greek mythology he's really just a chilled guy just wants to live his days with lovely wife Persephone and yet people think he's a devil person he has never been an evil person just a chilled Gothic God when an interesting love story
The evil Hades persona is all hollywood and disney. He is actually the okayest pf the 3 main gods. But I won't hold it against disney, atleast hades in hercules is seriously fun.

Honestly, this is quite impressive for the first couple runs. Hades isn't an easy game, though it's very fair and you can definitely master it.

The feeling of getting better after every run is incredible, don't listen to the backseaters, try everything and do your own builds, everything is viable, as long as you play It well! Have fun!

i will always love wc3 but it's awesome seeing grubby branch out and try new games and new communities with legends like Viper and Dendi
I feel like Grubby has been missing out on generations of incredibly good titles being almost exclusively an RTS player. Not saying he wasted his time, absolutely not, but rather that he's got a lot to look forward to if he's only scraping the surface of other games. There's so much.
I hope he doesn't feel pressured to play stuff and just takes the time to enjoy the games thoroughly.

Hades is a very smooth game, easy to get into, yet hard to master.

the other unique harder Roguelite is Dead Cells.

The is no way how it can be hard game. After farming a lot, and learning basic, you need just combinate the boons right, and after that you can relieve, using one button clear all rooms and win the boss. The game have good story and after many attempts I was playing for that. Also I didn't finished the story, that takes a lot of farming. I just supposed to watch someone who does it

If you could possibly be interested, may I suggest trying FTL: Faster Than Light.
It is a roguielike where you control a spaceship with a crew, manage resources, trying to survive on your journey and reach the final boss.
It's very strategic and you might like it, as you seem to enjoy deep and analytical games.
In my opinion, it's the best game ever made to this day. It has tons of viable builds and strategies.

Yo homie, you should play children of morta if you like rogue-like games. It's similar to Hades, but few heroes with different skills make it moooooore interesting, levels are more requiring too
