@RaiNSniperNation *Sigh*, not another doubter! What happened there is I leant slighly on the right stick which moves the camera. Although i must say anyway, that was four seconds into a 1m 30 run so why wouldn't I just restart if I did it wrong? Oh because I did. Also that would be some mesmerising accuracy to make sure my car went EXACTLY where it did when I supposedly 'jump cutted'.
Use manual gears, 1st gear for spins and 2nd for everything else. Use the throttle to control the radius of the drift and use the steering to control the angle. Now practice a lot.

Well you could say my practice started when I started playing racing games back on the PS1 but practice for this specific run took about half an hour (working out the route.) Im trying to come up with a second video but the other tracks are very hard to do never ending drifts on!
@zeyeerboost Key word there: BEFORE. it is no longer purely a rally game. It is now an off road driving/racing game with rally elements and NOT a pure rally game.
Yeah, the game has rally but also has other things: Rallycross (which is not exactly synonmymous with rally), land rush, trailblazer, gymkhana and head 2 head. The amount of rally in the game is actually small and the only reason it's on the back in such big letters is just a marketing ploy to try to keep the rally fans happy - which it didn't because again gmykhana and other modes are more overriding in this game. Hence why it isn't purely "a rally game".
@MrForzum Yeah why not! Codemasters are splitting rally and gymkhana into separate games now it seems. Showdown doesnt have any rally, its more gymkhana and arena based games. Theres not much more info about it, theres only a trailer at the moment.

@LordAkaneon I find the car consistent to control with no assists and on the custom setup. It's not meant to be similar to driving a real car, after all it isn't a simulation game.
@NiqhttFall It basically pulls you in close to the obstacles so you dont really have to bother thinking about throttle control. And no, I dont use it like some people on here think!!!

Well, before buying it I didn't have any experience with this sort of thing but I had it set up and working within 45 minutes so its actually really easy to do. When you buy this PVR you get all the cables you need so you dont need to buy anything else. Although I would recommend buying an external hard drive. I have a 320GB one so my laptop doesnt have to be filled up with videos.
If Dirt scored exponentially, like Project Gotham did on the Original Xbox... you would have Divided your entire world by zero! Thanks for sharing the whirly vid... I'm gonna mimic it right now.

@xSUPERxGTx you have reason, colin mcrae was a rally saga, and dirt is a subsaga that is about offroad racing, and gymkahma is very popular, i love rally, but i love dirt 3 because it have lots of fun with this kind of races, gymkahma, landrush, etc. that mades that you dont bore the game in 2 weeks.
dirt i think was intentionally made to be a Off-road racing game that just focused more on rally now there's this gymkhana and 1 brand of buggies and trophy trucks dirt needs to expand on the "DIRT" aspect of the game
I just checked this vid and it's amazing :). I myself got 700.000 score on this so to get 800.000 is amazing! Good drifting mate :D By the way did you do this with a steering wheel or not? I did mine with a Madcatz steering wheel which for me is harder to do than to do with a controler :) Great vid though :D

Exactly right. To pull off the most difficult drifts are very difficult, I think the game has the right balance between difficulty and fun.
