Heading here on Monday for the first time, Golfer’s Journal BTS event. Thought I’d give this a rewatch and it did not disappoint. Ian Andrew’s contribution was fantastic!
I’ve played the course twice, once in college for golf management. The other was on the Niagara mens tour certainly a gem 💎 I would like to play it in late spring or early summer someday. I would also like to try his other Niagara creation Lookout Point.
In 1970 or 71 I caddied for a golfer from Cherry Hills named," Mark Reynolds in a, " heavy raining" qualifying round for the Canadian Open at St. Catharines G & CC . Mark shot a 80 0r 81 that day but failed to qualify for the Canadian Open. Mark paid me $10.00 us, for the round, gave me a sleeve of Titlest's and bought me a burger and a pop between the 12 & 13 hole? Mark was the best golfer I ever saw play golf....up to that time. Hope he is healthy and life is treating him well. Mr. Blair M. Phillips - St. Catharines - Retired
Not a scenic course if that matters to the golfer, and as noted in the video, short game is heavily tested on the course. Very nicely conditioned though. Lookout is far more interesting, but also a much more challenging walk.

My club in Rochester has a reciprocal here; will definitely stop and play in 2023!

Speaking from experience - if you can learn to putt the greens at Cherry Hill you can putt anywhere in the world
