- Washington DC is an amazing city to explore with months worth of adventures you could have all around the downtown area. We decided to head to the city for the cherry blossom festival and to see how the cherry blossoms turned the city into a wonderland of pink and white flowers. Here is how we spent a weekend in Washington DC with the whole family and let us know what we left off in the comments!

This was absolutely phenomenal. **You should be writing pamphlets of what to see, for visitors, to an area. NOBODY does it better than you do, wherever you go. EXCELLENT, Josh... The whole family really appeared to enjoy it.🏡🙏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great to see you in DC Josh!
The kids are growing so fast! I love that the museums are free of charge.
Even though it was rainy, that cloudy daytime lighting made for some beautiful videography!
Your videos always make me smile and sometimes even cry! Just because it seems like such a warm, loving committed family that you guys have. Sunny looks a lot like Amy! Thanks for the great photography, phenomenal narrative and warm fuzzies all around! I love Josh, Pops, Sunny, Amy and the rest of your family. Truly glad to hear there's at least one person who has NOT watched The Exorcist! 🙌🏼 Great video.❤️
Today's cupcake is always better 😉
100% 🤣
Great to see Chris and Josh together! Two of my favorite channels!
I just eloped here in DC on the 16th! It was so beautiful & simple. Our photos turned out amazing
Josh's videos are the best!! Love everything about them, and his family is awesome! Love Pop's and the KIDS....❤!!!
They are both SOOOO adorable. Beautiful family! Great vibes! It's always a pleasure watching. ❤❤❤❤❤
Very kind of you to say, thanks for watching the videos!
What a great trip to DC. I can’t believe how big your kids are getting Sunny looks more and more like Amy everyday. DC is a great place to take families cuz there is so much to see and do. And the metro is really a great way to get around. But it’s a lot of walking. They will likely enjoy it even more as they get older. Best cupcake I’ve ever had was in Los olivos at a wine tasting place near the end of grand avenue. But you have to go early enough cuz they sell out very quickly. Not sure if it’s kid friendly cuz the cupcakes have a wine flavored center. But oh my! Beyond good. I’ve been to DC several times but I’ve never been to the national zoo. You have to pick and choose your places to go cuz there is so much to do there. I’ve never been during spring. Thanks for posting your trip there.
Oh Josh, beautiful children.
I went twice to Washington DC. Once with my mother, when she completed 80 years old.
I'm from Brazil.
i am so bummed that Josh and Chris were so close to Delaware. I love thiet channels for all things So Cal. Hope you enjoyed our East Coast weather identity crisis!
Your twins are growing fast! How wonderful 😊 Great video, thanks!
Always a great one, Thank you for sharing and taking us along on this wonderful adventure
I love visiting DC. You made me want to go again! Last time, we got to tour the White House. Loved the cherry blossoms. Thanks so much.
Great video. I've always wanted to see the cherry blossoms. DC is on my bucket list. Your kids are adorable!!
Fantastic video. Thank you for sharing. 👍
This came at the perfect time…my family and I are going to DC next month. Good to know about the Air and Space Museum as that was gonna be one of our stops. And we may have to have a cupcake war ourselves! 😂 Obviously the cherry blossoms won’t be in bloom but we’ll make it there one year during that time. 😁 This will be our first time going with the kids so I’m glad I got to see your kids having fun there. Great video, as always!
Beautiful! Your kids are a trip!❤️😀🇺🇸
Had a DC Cherry blossom trip planned but canceled due to Covid 😢. Need to do this trip. Thanks for sharing 🫡
Your kiddos are growing so fast, they’re so cute. You always seem like such a chipper guy and such a good dad. I would’ve killed to have such a cool dad at that age. Great video, as always!
Wonderful video Josh! Funny that you ran into Chris on the other side of the country.
So glad you got there when you did because all it takes is for a storm to blow all the blossoms away! Which was your favorite memorial? I love them all, but partial to the Roosevelt... Did you know about the gap between trees at the White House? My first year, I did the ranger tour walking around the entire basin. He shared, I don't remember which president, felt every president should wake to see the Jefferson Memorial and the view has remained ever since. I didn't spend much time in Georgetown outside of the canal and Baked & Wired (hands down the best). I didn't even know about the old stone house or steps! (You can go the rest of your life not seeing the exorcist movie). The kite festival was one of my favorite events my 27 years in Metro DC area! The kids are growing so fast!
Glad we got a shoutout at the very end lol. Nice vid!
Great video. My family would make annual visits to Washington DC. Lots to do and see. We would stay at the Harrington hotel which just recently closed for good. I would park the car and not see it till we left. Our latest trip to Washington DC was by train. Another place we enjoyed was in Alexandria VA where we ate in a tavern that served George Washington and many others. Also a torpedo factory was turned into an artist studios. We've always enjoyed Washington DC. Thank you for sharing. It's one of the best tourist destinations .
I think this is the first time I am seeing your kids, they are adorable. They look like Amy, more than you though!
Life size Transformers in Georgetown?! Yes to that!!
There you are @Through my Lens👊🏽 missed my fix
Thank you for the grand tour, much appreciated. The gorgeous cherry blossoms are my favorite. I was there in the ‘50’s w/ my grandma. Long time ago, but, the cherry blossoms remain beautiful.
Your video on blue ridge parkway was so helpful. Shame a large chunk, galax to almost blowing rock was closed. I've just been looking at Washington for a roadtrip starting point. Thanks.
Welcome! Love to see you and your beautiful family around my neck of woods. Hope you explore more in the DMV next time.- Mike in MD.
We were there at the same time I think. It was so crowded at the Tidal Basin. I'm surprised you were able to get as much footage as you did. Would've been cool to see you. I love your videos! Take care
Great work! Thanks for sharing Pops channel I’ll view his channel too!😊
Your twins are adorable Josh! What a beautiful view of the blossoms. In my town on the Central Coast of CA, we have some lovely trees the always bloom around my birthday in February. 💕
yeah i finally found pops channel!! love watching both your travels!
Thank you for visiting!
I love your travel videos. Great job.
Have you ever been to Savannah? My wife and I are going there for the first time in about a month, and I was wanting to get tips from you. Thanks!
Delightful
Thanks for sharing with us Josh! Awesome to see the cherry blossoms. Also, loved the surprise appearance from Chris!
Great video! We were there on the same day!
Lovely. We do so enjoy your videos. They are “feel good” viewing plus we always learn something new.
The Exorcist was the scariest movie of all time in its day! I was in grade school (raised catholic) and they showed a trailer to it before the G rated original Endless Summer movie. the trailer gave me nightmares. Ask your Dad about that movie!! Enjoyed the DC video!
Funny to look back at the weak special effects now but at the time it was so freaky!
@@popshiking agreed
Cherry blossom time is the best time to go there for sure. So what do you use to check the weather before you go? Feels like every weather app is less and less accurate nowadays.
So interesting thanks
Always respect the native americans in Washington DC
I hope little stumpy is going to a bonsai artist.
Love your videos and your family what week did you go?
That looks like a ton of paddle boats not being used.
The Smithsonian museum area would be good for the kids, Arlington and Mount Vernon too. Not sure if the FBI building is still open to the public or not, Pentagon has a tour.
No d.c trip is complete without a visit to bens chili bowl
I didn't know Pops had a channel?! What's it called?
Where can i buy pops american flag hat?
Where is the Lincoln memorial buddy? It’s not there?
My husband and I will be visiting Washington for the first time next weekend. I hope our trip is as great as yours. I loved the video! blessings!😊
Also did you really run into the Yellow productions guy or was that planned????
The most UN AMERICAN thing you can do... Is not enjoy The Exorcist!!!
Bro, you travel too much. 😂
