@@amanasd26not everyone cares about a status symbol. People who have money and can actually look at cars objectively will see a nice big luxurious suv and not just think of the badge. Hell, range rovers are the least reliable and overpriced junks but people still buy them.
@@donn.4766 because Range Rovers are status symbols, you tried to disprove my point by proving my point. When people are not looking for status symbols they look for quality, reliability, good customer experience. I don't trust the Nissan Group to do any of those things with their current struggles.
An Escalade V competitor would require a 600hp tune at least and call it a QX80 S or they could resurrect their IPL branding.
Perfect way to continue my work day 🙌
Beautiful Vehicle
There’s no one that’s going to buy this Nissan over an Escalade lol. Unless its for price reasons…
Hope its better - we rented a qx80 for a week vacation and it was really bad as a vehicle - transmission, tech, ride - real bad
Hard to imagine Infiniti commanding this price point. They’ve taken so long to refresh this model that they need to go back to being a value player and I’m not certain this represents a value in the segment. The simple question becomes would your wife prefer a BMW X7 at around 90k or an Infiniti at 100k….
Can you tune the GT-R derived engine to 1000hp? 🤔
Maybe but transmission go 💥
No, because it's not GT-R derived. The VR35 in the QX80 is a stroked version of the VR30 engine found in the new Z or Q50. Both of which are open deck design (weaker) compared to the GT-R's VR38 closed deck design (way stronger).
infiniti needs to make a escalade v compeditor
@@jcdenton8750 and Nissan engineering says the 30 was created from lessons learned developing the 38. So yes, it's 38 derived.
GTR is 3.8 not same engine. 3.5 is a Maxima engine.
I would take this any day over an escalade . 5 times on Sunday .
EXTRA PIPES a good dig at THROTTLE HOUSE
Just remember this is the new armada as well. But 20-30k more. Same drivetrain
Another soccer man bus but hey, it’s better than a minivan!!
All the people that think they are saying the engine is shared with the GT-R really need to learn the definition of the word "derived".
Looks better than Lincoln 😂
looks better than most of them
Ehh not to sure
@@balmainattitude no lol the Lincoln’s starting with the Navigator in 2017 are way better looking than this.
Extra pipes? Like extra throttle house 😂😂? Potty you guys don't get along. Would be awesome a crossover, for all the fans!
Yeah too bad they don't get along with us, would be fun!
Marketing talk an utter load of tripe, it’s not luxurious, it’s functional in style. It’s still a bus on suv wheels
@TheStraightPipes
My wife and I were in Toronto and Port Perry for vacation, she loves that chicken truck! 😂
Hmmm maybe more Japanese Dodge Durango?
I really like it.
Just subscribed, can’t wait to see more of your content!
Hello
make the climate hot again
These headrests kinda remind me of Halo's 'Librarian'
Moonroofs open and sunroof's don't. Atleast that's what owner's manuals from 20 years ago say
Beautiful SUV. It's up to 3rd or 2nd place in the looks department on body on frame Luxury SUV's.
I’d take the Yukon any day
You forgot jeep grand Wagoneer.
Thats equally luxurious and priced competitively.
They should drop a V10 in this for no reason. Just to save the brand
a V8 would be enough.
Infiniti never had a V10 in any of their cars before 😂😂😂
That is beautiful 😍 but it needs a V8
Infiniti has a swag Lexus can’t match. This actually has appeal with Americans similar to the GM triplets
Sure, but if resale value is important to you...ROFL. Infiniti's are trash after the lease period.
that is true
infiniti and lexus need to make a escalade v compeditor
I prefer the chiseled looks of the Escalade vs the bulbous blobby-ness of the Infiniti
Wow 134 before tax that like 150k 🇨🇦. You can get a fully loaded Palisade and a telluride for the same money. Btw didn't like the dated second screen. It looks so cheap.
In the Middle East, they have the Nissan Patrol Nismo
As a lover of music in the car. Why no thourough 2 min. reviews on the factory stereos sound . Ive been in a few that are sweet and a few that are just down right terrible. And that was a 65,000 SUV
Can you guys start ranking massage seat function? Is this massage done with air bladders? How does this massage compare to the Genesis ergo-motion? What about Audi? Or Mercedes? Or BMW?
Es la mejor calidad del mercado la Infiniti qx 80 👍👍👍👍
