@@BterlonSa5 I'm saying it for two reasons mainly. 1st is the fact that this game despite being 10 years old still looks and plays great and IMO it doesn't really need a remake. 2nd is that I could've really liked the game had it not been given the name "Most Wanted". And 3rd which is more of a personal problem, I am really growing tired of remakes being released all the time. I crave something new and original.
That may be. I can think of other possible situation though: this being a remaster of the 2005 game. A remaster wouldn't necessarily require any new recording, so maybe she was just informed of it because she would be due residuals on an official re-release. Note how she doesn't mention re-recording anything, which would be natural for an actor/actress to do in such a situation. And people often confuse remaster and remake. Considering that EA has remastered Burnout Paradise and Hot Pursuit 2010 in recent off-years for Need for Speed, I can see them doing the same to Most Wanted in 2024 while Codemasters Chesire/Criterion works on the sequel to Unbound for 2025. And sure, that remaster could be MW 2012, which came just after Hot Pursuit 2010... But then again, why would this info reach this actress in that case? She had nothing to do with 2012's game. If I had to bet, I'd say we're due a MW 2005 remaster next year.
7:09 This is what I hate about modern racing games. You telling me the car is going 200+ km/h? I know this is a demo but this feeling of slow is present in all racing games these days. It was very present in Carbon but wasn't as present in Most Wanted 05
This is the only time I personally have felt this but I kinda hope your wrong Theo, cause MW would be an AMAZING remaster. If it isn’t though, Midnight club and TDUSC around the same time frame would be incredible.
personally, i feel like it's best if it's never remade as there could still potentially be licensing issues at the moment, from the music to the manufacturers like toyota and the joint partnership between mclaren and mercedes
This. Especially rn with toyota being on edge with nfs. Ik for a fact that ea wants to put toyota and lexus back in modern nfs games but its toyota thats holding them back its a shame. Would love to have the supra and the gr86 and a lexus ls400
0:54 okay settle down there. Cross isn’t the same ball park as Vaas. One is cop with power trip tendencies and the other is a schizophrenic, nihilistic pirate who trips out on psychedelics and skins people alive 😂
i feel like maybe can exist a chance of something like this being real, there are two factors that i can think about on why the game can or not be posible. As you said, if they are working on something that big for the community, its weird that she just post about it in the first place. With the contracts they sign, they arent allowed to talk about it. On the other hand, EA made a good work (surprisingly) with the remake of Dead Space, and that makes me have faith that they can make the same with NFS, so, its not that crazy that they just want to remake one of the most famous racing game in their history. But we'll see.
But, as a community, what is everyone hoping? A remaster like same assets, menus etc but 120fps, or are we hoping for a full on remake? Personally hoping for a port/remaster, cause EA then cant put in their microtransactions and such
EA just doesn't know what to do with NFS and I don't know why. They keep switching studios, delaying it, cancelling shit behind the scenes, releasing reskinned games, it's weird. Why is it so hard? And I buy em all. I always wanna give them a chance and Ghost went from the mess of Rivals to Heat. They got so good at it and then BAM, shut down. Right when they finally had gotten it right and were releasing DLC. I just hope MW Remake is legit and actually turns out good. Being a fan I've learned to keep my expectations in check every game. They go from amazing to dog ish every few years. No idea why.
NFS has had 5 Sales Flops in a Row, ask me, its about time EA just *Axed* it and be done, as it is no longer Profitable. It makes no Financial Sense to keep it on the Books! Axe it and good Riddance, as there has not been a good game in the Series since 2010 (HP2010) and even then it was not as good as the last Great one (HP2PS2) back in 2001!
While it's getting more and more unlikely as the days pass I'm still holding out hope for a Underground 1 remaster/remake to come out this year for the 20th anniversary of Underground
@@WezBaker94that would've made the game way better. Sick of being broke at certain parts of the game. Thought you were supposed to make mad cash racing.
I mean, it is an exciting prospect. BUT, if it's true, we'll have to set some realistic expectations for this potential game. I think it's going to be very difficult for EA to make a game that lives up to the hype and nostalgia of MW05. With the direction NFS has gone in recent years, EA could very likely be setting us up for some serious disappointment. Maybe I'm being too harsh, but I guess we'll just have to see.
Nah your not, the current physics of NFS is bad and even if the MW rumour is true those who played the OG one won’t fully dig the new one just based on how it plays, the biggest problem with games today is they prioritise graphics over physics, unbound looks Amazing but the gameplay is still ways away from being good, the only game right now that has good enough physics is FH games but they are too dated, they need to freshen up the series, they need to add more customisation, need better maps and get rid of the festival it’s just too much now, the series needs a massive reboot
My biggest fears in a comment. If they really make some Unbound type a shit with more dlc's than character dialogues using our childhood memories as a bait....am calling in a radical muslim in their building....for the sake of all of us
What I understand from this(I am probably wrong) - You could tell by their body language that they wanted to say more and especially Dean with the smirk and stuck on Uhhh for a minute and Simmone also with how she kept smirking as well - If the above is correct I’m willing to bet this project is definitely on the creative table but everyone is hesitant on how to go about it, hell they may even have reached out to their agents letting them know of a possible return and whatever else but hammering the point that the project is in no way finalized or put into action at this point - Sus as heck that tweet was put up then disappeared fake or not
If you ask me, I think they should bring in an outside studio to work with Criterion and remaster every Black Box game from Underground to ProStreet and call it the Gold Collection or the Nostalgia Collection.
Just looking at Dean mckenzie's face reminded me of the final cutscene of NFS MW, When he shouted everyone but in pepega mod I love how They are recognized so well
I think i would prefer if they made new games that are INSPIRED by previous titles. Need for Speed is known for always trying something new, but in the Black Box era there was the problem that those ideas never reached their full potential due to not having enough time because of the yearly releases.

You make sense when mentioning the people of now not wanting/interested in the replica of that game. I mean, people do move on and like other things. The thing that I believe worked best in NFSMW was the storyline. That's what made people hooked on the game. I mean, the different kinds of race events that connected to the storyline was superb. I think NFS should know that majority of fans care about storyline and race events, and should be working around those lines in their creations
While I would to see a propor remake of MW, I`m not convinced it`ll happen, though I would love nothing more than to see the blackbox games (underground 2, MW, Carbon, Pro Street and The Run, specificly). If they were to do propor remakes of these games, I`d imagine that the main story beats would broadly stay the same, but alot of the finer details would get teaked or remixed in soem way, and the maps would the same points of interest and design cues, while making insividual roads longer, and adding more roads and areas to drive though, in order to increase the map size. The basic game modes would all be there an accounted for, but with quality of life improvements, and maybe some extra event types lifter from later games. Finally, onto the car list an customisarion: I`d imagine that a modern remake of these games would likely feature mostly modern counterparts to the original games`s cars (for example a current gen mustang instead of an 05 mustang for Razer, the Punto would maybe be replaced with a 595 Abarth, the 300c would maybe be replaced with something like a modern charger, the DB9 would be replaced by the DB11, current gen Porsches and Lambos would replace the old ones, ect). I would imagine that they would also add more models that didn`t have a counterpart in MW (like old Volvos, the Polestar, ect), and they would probably keep some of the old fan favourite cars, as well as their current gen counterparts (Say the Murci, the 05 ford GT and the C6 'vette, as well as the Aventador, the latest GT, and a C7 or C8 'vette... The total car list would probably be somewhere between double and triple the initial size, and the customizarion would be on par woth Heat and Unbound. As for the cover car, I can see the replace the M3 GTR with the M4 GTS or something similar, and than make the M3 some kind on unlockable. In doing so they would more easily be able to go with a loose retelling of MW`S story while leaving it ambiguous whether you are playing as the same guy or not, with the M3 unlock being a reveal that you`re actualy an entirely different person who is following in the footsteps of the original guy... This is how I imagin a modern remake of MW playing out, with a similar formula being applicable to remakesl lof all the other blackbox games as well
A friend and I were talking last night about the Instagram post that Simone leaked and we were kinda skeptical, though when the story was posted we defo knew this is probably real. I mean why would Simone and Dean post a story together in the frame? Not taking into fact that what Dean said in it was more than obvious that he was talking about MW. I'm very hyped to see where this goes
Seeing the recent video of the guy selling the M3, That would be a perfect Easter egg to having us the player be the buyer of the M3 as to kickoff the next Most Wanted chapter.
She's probably just putting it out there to be like, NFS MW Remake let's make it happen! I don't know if she leaked anything. I'm gonna say it's not happening. Definitely not official. I just think many actors have seen how some have become big and have a cult following and maybe they want that too (like the GTA actors). They'd love to see them return and maybe stay in the NFS world. Imagine having characters continue over multiple games like they did back then. I know I'd definitely want them to return and even become characters that stay with us throughout another trilogy or something.
I don't see this happening but i would love for EA to let the Evolution team within Codemasters to make a spiritual successor to Driveclub as a new NFS, that would be a dream come true.
The remake of this masterpiece would certainly have too be inspected too perfection... the pursuit type (being able too smash into roadblocks and all that epic mayhem 😅) personally the controls set this game offered were amazing. I forget the # I used but it was the one with the right joystick being the gas brake/reverse and r3 for slow down time. 😮💨🫠🥰 this game put on ps5 would be an insanely epic graphical experience alone 🤞🫣 for someday
There's one thing though: the news about NFS:MW was published by VGC. VGC has a great track record of only publishing rumors and leaks when they can verify it with one of their sources. Every single leak/rumor people didn't believe initially - Silent Hill's multiple new games, MGS 3 Remake, Persona 3 Remake and so on - was news broken or expanded by VGC when they did have solid sources to corroborate it. If I had to guess though, I'd say this is probably a remaster and not a remake. I don't know, I simply don't think EA will give the necessary budget for a full-on remake of any NFS when they can just give it the Burnout Paradise or Hot Pursuit treatment. People often confuse the two terms and maybe the actress did too. One final note: about Take-Two, there's also Bully. Rumors of a sequel have been floating about for years now. Then some said Bully 2 was cancelled, but as you point out, the same has been said about remasters of GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption. I wouldn't expect Midnight Club coming before any of these other three.
@shrekrek the customization was just insane for the time! I remember being able to win any car of your choice in the pink slip races, and the 0%-100% body kit "aggressiveness." And about 100 spoilers that you could slap onto just about any car😂
You know I think we might. We did deliver the bmw in unbound and there was dialog that said “the owner just got out and this was the first thing he wanted. Hopefully that’s the last we hear of him because he sounds like he means business” maybe, even if it’s not happening, maybe something
I just found something interesting. The NFS Most Wanted entry on the "EA App" (see Origin's even shittier client) lists a release date of 2005 but it's actually the 2012 game by the same name that is just terrible. Shame.
I was wondering if you got the news or not? Let's see what you think about this. I think it's interesting. Keep up the good work ❤️ Edit: OH IT'S SIMONE?! OOOH. All i heard was "An Actress"
If this becomes true I’d honestly I think it would be better to keep the same physics than to make it more simulated like today nfs I might just be my opinion but changing the physics completely would just make it feel less like wa it originally was like Yh adjust the physics but don’t completely change it it’s just gonna make it feel like an completely different game the best thing is better off remaster to make it more modern graphics that’s the best things for them to do cause once u make the physics feel completely different then the whole game is gonna feel completely different & if this happens then u not gone have the same joy as the original game. like the best route for them is to remaster Most Wanted make the graphics better & adjust the physics an little that’s all & probably try make an NFS game in the future that’ll connect the most to Most Wanted story & revolve the story around the M3 & probably one of the main characters or two from the actual original Most Wanted 2005 game. This is the best route for them to go cause the game is already very old it came out in 2005 completely changing the whole physics isn’t gone turn out right.
I’m still skeptical mainly because I just want Most Wanted to be left alone. I don’t want a remake of it. It came out at the right time but I want NFS to move forward not go back to the past. That said, I wouldn’t mind seeing Cross and Company come back and maybe play a role in an update and/or a new game, but I don’t necessarily want another Most Wanted.
@@ElPinche97 not really enough to make an impact though. I’d like to see him make a proper return, which I think based on the story video will happen but it won’t be a most wanted game.

Theo always right.
personally, i feel like it's best if it's never remade as there could still potentially be licensing issues at the moment, from the music to the manufacturers like toyota and the joint partnership between mclaren and mercedes
This. Especially rn with toyota being on edge with nfs. Ik for a fact that ea wants to put toyota and lexus back in modern nfs games but its toyota thats holding them back its a shame. Would love to have the supra and the gr86 and a lexus ls400
@@wolfhd_8Agreed, I want a Supra, Celica and a LFA.

Hopefully they not miss the mark. EA, PLEASE DO BETTER.
I also think that RUclips should do something about misleading trailers and information as well.
What i miss most about Most Wanted was the soundtrack!
Shaaaaaape Shifterrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!
The reason why I quit playing nfs games in general after unbound. I play sbrw (current world) tho since it’s ran by the community and not by ea
Thanks for the information theo have a great day

While it's getting more and more unlikely as the days pass I'm still holding out hope for a Underground 1 remaster/remake to come out this year for the 20th anniversary of Underground
I want a carbon remake too. Easily my fav NFS.
Don't know why but always loved it more than most wanted.
If we were able to redo career races with FULL reward money ? 👀
@@WezBaker94that would've made the game way better.
Sick of being broke at certain parts of the game.
Thought you were supposed to make mad cash racing.
Still waiting for a carbon sequel :(
I mean, it is an exciting prospect.
In some prospect, we could see this coming.
My biggest fears in a comment. If they really make some Unbound type a shit with more dlc's than character dialogues using our childhood memories as a bait....am calling in a radical muslim in their building....for the sake of all of us
Cross returning as an Bounty Hunter for "one last job" to finish what he started years ago would be an awesome premise for a MW remake/sequel.
What I understand from this(I am probably wrong)
- You could tell by their body language that they wanted to say more and especially Dean with the smirk and stuck on Uhhh for a minute and Simmone also with how she kept smirking as well
- If the above is correct I’m willing to bet this project is definitely on the creative table but everyone is hesitant on how to go about it, hell they may even have reached out to their agents letting them know of a possible return and whatever else but hammering the point that the project is in no way finalized or put into action at this point
- Sus as heck that tweet was put up then disappeared fake or not
Hopefully they got one.
As a Pokémon fan, after BD/SP I've never been so excited, yet so terrified at the same time of talking about a remake
I'd love to see carbon as an extension to nfs mw, to have both locations and stories
to have both locations?
there already was a game like that, though went mostly unheard of by the majority of people
look up NFS world
@@tooprood i know but to have two stories in to one. For example making the prologue race in Palmont and then fleeing to Rockport with the M3.

If you ask me, I think they should bring in an outside studio to work with Criterion and remaster every Black Box game from Underground to ProStreet and call it the Gold Collection or the Nostalgia Collection.
Theres no way... its too good to be true
Just looking at Dean mckenzie's face reminded me of the final cutscene of NFS MW, When he shouted everyone but in pepega mod
I love how They are recognized so well
I think i would prefer if they made new games that are INSPIRED by previous titles. Need for Speed is known for always trying something new, but in the Black Box era there was the problem that those ideas never reached their full potential due to not having enough time because of the yearly releases.
A underground 2 or even a 3 wouldn’t be a bad idea a lot of customizations to the underground series
hopefully they're able to replicate that grimy and early 2000s feel somehow it'd suck if they used the same stuff from the recent games
Instead of a remake I think a continuation would be better imo. Showing some of the characters being older and what not.
What would a continuation be isn’t that carbon ? Or you mean a story after carbon
I agree.
Razor was in unbound, he just left prison and you're delivering the m3 to him.
@@hfzwoopah why razor though if it’s not his car razor was only a protagonists he doesn’t own the m3 lol let him stay in his mustang we need to know what happened to the main character
2025 still waiting for that remake 😞😭
How need for speed underground 2 isn’t the first need for speed game that’s being remade is absolute madness.
Crazy how NFSMW 2005 and NFSMW 2012 are close to eachother than we (2023) to NFSMW 2012.
I hope hope NFSMW 2005 remake is real!
This is how I imagin a modern remake of MW playing out, with a similar formula being applicable to remakesl lof all the other blackbox games as well
We do need that Original NFS game -Most Wanted 🥵🔥🔥
Very cool video black panthaa
If they are doing a remake, do carbon after most wanted.
So Toyota finally want to back to NFS series? if they don't and MW still gonna make remake, what car they gonna use to replace Supra?
A friend and I were talking last night about the Instagram post that Simone leaked and we were kinda skeptical, though when the story was posted we defo knew this is probably real. I mean why would Simone and Dean post a story together in the frame? Not taking into fact that what Dean said in it was more than obvious that he was talking about MW. I'm very hyped to see where this goes
They've posted together before! They hang out sometimes 🥲
my bad for that oversight! though them talking about most wanted is very cool to see
Seeing the recent video of the guy selling the M3, That would be a perfect Easter egg to having us the player be the buyer of the M3 as to kickoff the next Most Wanted chapter.
But Theo don't get too excited Take-Two's remaster/remake could be bully or even manhunt
They mentioned not too long ago a few games, including midnight club being an IP they'd like to bring back
@@BlackPanthaa gosh I hope so
i think its a marketing thing, getting people talking about the game, building up hype before confirming it.
If they are remastering it then just do graphics changes but dont mess with the physics in it
I don't see this happening but i would love for EA to let the Evolution team within Codemasters to make a spiritual successor to Driveclub as a new NFS, that would be a dream come true.
Maybe DRIVECLUB REVOLUTION?
In payback the drift king was also in there. Honestly one of my favorite games handling aside
Barely anything gets me excited these days, but I would completely lose my sh*t if a new Midnight Club game is announced.
When is the new M3 GTR video coming out? It's one of my favourite series. ❤
That would be brilliant, but more importantly the mechanics are what made Most Wanted aswell.
Hey does anyone know where I can download the OG mostwanted 2005 download link? I've been looking for this for a while
if they don’t make a remake i atleast want to be able to buy the original version from a proper store
*Why not in 2025? 20th anniversary.*
Because the NFS franchise will celebrate his 30th Anniversary in 2024 since the 1st NFS game was released 30 years ago in 1994.
MW '05 coming back would be huge. HOWEVER, I'd be more excited for a new Midnight Club game. That was my go to game all the time when I was a kid.
I just want another nfs undercover 😭
VERY DANGEROUS!
Even though people rate it as one of the worst NFS ever, I actually enjoyed it!
I think id die if this happened. Its been my fave ever since
Excellent Gameplay, Customization and Explanation Brother
If NFSMW (2005) got remake, I hope they make Palmont City and Rockport City in one universe because the story is link by each other
I just found something interesting.
Keep up the good work ❤️
Edit: OH IT'S SIMONE?! OOOH. All i heard was "An Actress"
I wanna actually be able to re race Razor for his Mustang! This bothered me so much as a kid
If NFS MW did a remake... AYE TOYOTA
they can’t
I think we'd love a proper Most Wanted remake, or rather a remastered, not remake. But EA is never going to do it.

I imagine based on his trailer that we hear about Razor tearing up the streets again and formed a new blacklist and we take it upon ourselves to take him down once again. Idk what the actual substance or story can be but as a vague idea lol.
