If you're going to check out more from The Birthday Massacre, I would nominate "Happy Birthday", "Blue", "Pins and Needles", "Shallow Grave" and "Superstition". They're anothet band that has changed their sound over time, from a darker, rougher sound to a lighter, sometimes even playful tune. One of my favorite artists
i do recommend checking out more of their catalog. some of my personal favorites, in no particular order: "Endless", "To Die For", "All Of Nothing", "Pins And Needles", and their cover of "I Think We're Alone Now".
@@a.claudiasilva9589 i was initially introduced to TBM via "To Die For" and "Pins and Needles", but "Endless" was the first one i discovered for myself and fell in love with, and it's still my favorite.
Cool review and TBM are an underrated band - check out some of their earlier stuff - In The Dark, Superstition, Looking Glass - all cool songs and videos
Great reaction. More recommendations "blue" "Red Stars" "Under Your Spell" and my personal favourite "Leaving Tonight" Some of their songs have clearer meanings, but some like this one are more poetry than story. Chibi (Sara Taylor) is a great writer who has a novel as well. I find she really paints images with her words.
I'm very glad to see this underrated band getting some reactions. In some ways their sound has changed a bit over their career, but in other ways it has remained consistent. Many if not most of their songs have that 80's feel.
Also listen to their bsides. Man their cover of Never Ending Story is almost like you are FLYING! Tbh way better than the 80s version. The 80s version is a classic, but man .. TBM KILLED that song
So cool to see someone discovering this band for the first time. I've been a fan since 2004. Definitely check out their other stuff. You won't be disappointed.

Their song 'Blue' is a perfect example of the light vs.dark style. Especially with the vocals.
The way you read the lyrics sounded like you were reading a riddle :)
Which is of course the correct way to approach BM lyrics.
