GOODBYE, MYSTIC FALLS - In the aftermath of Alaric (Matt Davis) and Jo’s (guest star Jodi Lyn O’Keefe) powerful nuptials, things take a dramatic turn when an uninvited guest shows up, leaving Elena (Nina Dobrev) in terrible jeopardy. Despite Matt’s (Zach Roerig) advice to leave town to protect herself, a defiant Bonnie (Kat Graham) takes matters into her own hands after finding herself on the receiving end of a twisted plan. As Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline (Candice Accola) reach an emotional crossroad in their relationship, a reunion with Liv (guest star Penelope Mitchell) leaves Tyler (Michael Trevino) faced with a decision that could change his life forever. Make there be a spiritual world where dead humans are? And bring Elena back?? They can just bring back Caroline's mother too.. She should be there......

I hate to admit this, but I loved kai's entrance. That being said, I have a feeling that this episode will be filled with tears and it will be heartbreaking. Elena may not have been loved by some but she still had a huge impact on each viewer. So seeing her go will be sad but I do hope the writer's didn't mess this off. The main character deserves a good send off.

Did you ever stop to think Nina wanted leave the way Julie made her exit? Just like Allison on Teen Wolf? Crystal and Jeff talked about Allison's exit and they both agreed with it. But you have to remember we don't know what's happening in this. This is a promo and just like every promo, it's always misleading. Could she be dead? Yes. Could she be in a magically induced sleeping spell of some sort? Yes. Try not to judge so much before we've actually seen what the outcome is.
Well, we know it's Nina's last ever episode, so I'm assuming she dies or something. Either way, gotta prepare for a tearful episode...

I'm not judging them based on a ship. Rumors do spread and people easily believe them. But Julie even said herself that they're going to have to continue the show without her, and like I said, she's not under contract. They can write in whatever they want with her, but Nina doesn't have to do it if she doesn't want to. And like you said, Nina said she was done.

Only thing I saw was Stelena. Even in the promo the chemistry is off the charts! In 6x21 the one scene between Stefan & Elena had more chemistry than Delena or Steroline combined. Paul & Nina made the show! Stefan and Elena forever

Nina Dobrev is awesome, but, I can't stand Elena. In the episode "Let Her Go" (6x15) Elena slapped Caroline in the face regarding her feelings for Stefan. My God, Liz wasn't lukewarm in the ground & Elena insulted Caroline. I was like 'what a bitch'. In "Season 5", Elena wanted Stefan to remember their relationship when he lost his memories. I was like 'what the fuck?'. Apparently Elena has this compulsive need to have every guy in Mystic Falls worship the ground she walks on.
Goodbye Elena Gilbert. It's not like she didn't have it coming...
Crystal Dominique well in the books that's how elenas personality was. She wanted everyone to be in love with her and she was selfish and vain. so nina dobrev did a good job portraying that.
Crystal Dominique She basically murdered an entire vamp line just to get the cure for herself...without any consideration that these vamps from Kol have families and friends and are just living their lives when BAM they die suddenly. I started hating her from that moment.

Let us be clear.. There has never been ANY promo for the next week episode that showed us what really happens in the next episode, they always cut some scenes together to give us a mistaken theory of what could happen - but it has never been true.
So, it is right that Elena will leave in any way because Nina Dobrev leaves the show, but I'm sure she won't die (even if none of this ways is better because Delena is gone for good anyway...).
Anneke Engels Infact, what COULD happen, because I heard there was an epic battle, and the fact that Damon asked " what did you do to my girlfriend" ,,,well... she COULD be in coma as previously stated, makes you think you have to say goodbye before her death, but THEN... Damon maybe kills kie,or finds a way to reverse the spell, wake her up and then compel her to forget everyone and everything and have her leave. I mean....I dunno? Just a theory.

A lot of people are expecting Elena to die, but I don't really think she will because Nina even said in a pic she posted on instagram a few weeks ago that whatever your expecting to happen, is not what's gonna happen and so, a lot of people think she's gonna die, but i don't think so. The writers said several weeks ago, that they do not plan to kill Elena but they want a great/emotional exit for her. The reason they do not want to kill her of is because they want the window to show her again, maybe in the series finale or something. So, I'm sure that Nina will have some kind of guest appearance later on.
Just wondering, why does Damon say he can't be without Elena for 60 years? What's so significant about 60 years in particular? I don't think I missed anything during epi 21.....

Episode will be on Delena eternal love that Elena's death will be even more real and eternal, friendship (i will cry like a baby with Elena, Caroline and Bonnie flashbacks scenes and goodbye ones) and Steroline.

Am I the only one who is thinking that Bonnie is going to turn into a vampire? She had Damon's blood in her system, imagine a slight posibility that she died while she and Matt were out and thats why Caroline says to Bonnie "take her hand, and let her into your thoughts" so she can say goodbye to Elena the same way Caroline did with Liz. Just a thought, suppose anything is possible with TVD.

Elena can't die because of one thing! Julie Plec confirmed that the last scene of the season finale will be a flash forward scene only including Elena so if she would be dead they could only show her dead body :P that's why I do not think she will die :)

You know, it occurs to me that they could have solved the whole 'Nina leaving the show' thing by simply somehow transferring Elena's consciousness into another body. It's pretty obvious, they're doing it all over the place in the originals. I'm guessing the only reason they didn't do that was out of respect for Nina. Which is fair enough I suppose.
I'm still looking forward to a season of (hopefully) Defan brotherly scenes and more Bonnie storyline. xx
