@@FN1980a no problem! They pulled the plane off flightsim after the recent fiasco and I believe flightsim banned the creators who did that. Good business model! Haha

@@FN1980a there was a lot of heartburn from creators after flightsim changed their TOS and went to pseudo payware site which could have theoretically prevented creators from removing their work from the website and flightsim keep it and continue profiting off of it while the creators made nothing. Lots of different opinions on it but it definitely caused quite a stir in the community!

Totally agree with what you say about the C152. I hardly ever flew it but since downloading the free addon, have been flying it a lot. It's a whole new aeroplane and I'm enjoying it a lot.
It’s so good for plopping down in small airstrips and flying around on the mountains with. Plus the additional challenges of avoiding weather and what not

@@nocturnalsimulations Many larger countries have the as good scenery and geographical features as us but not many have the same variety in such a small land area.
Something designed with accessibility in mind is often nicer to use for everyone. I’m defo downloading all of these

I did hear about them potentially opening up the world to community driven updates…that would be huge!
Since they built this on the FSX system, I liken this game to renovating a old building. They have a lot of major works to complete (I.e wiring and plumbing) before they can concentrate on the decor and niceties . Give it a few more years and it will be an amazing place to live in. 😀

They're not even spending time on big improvements, like fixing all the bugs in the engine simulation, the aerodynamics simulation, or the weather simulation...
@@CristiNeagu - In my opinion the sim is in a deep downward spiral. The LOD and P.G looks absolutely awful, and the performance wasn't even touched with the last SU. ASOBO is completely out of touch with it's customers.
The “core features” of Flow boils down to it being different.
Minor efficiencies can create dramatic results, which is why I instantly fell in love with it
It’s Flow by //42 (Parallel 42)…nothing to do with Orbx other than being in their store.

Can I add a G1000 to the 152? Or at least have a G1000 like autopilot experience, able to load flight plans, etc?
It only supports the GTN750 from PMS. With the paid version I think you can import Simbrief flights
These add ons look terrific. Why not provide links to them? Where do we get the 152 or 42 Flow?

You can definitely gain knowledge and experience that is very helpful in obtaining your PPL through flight simulators. The flight model isn't exact to real life but if you can go into your lessons with knowledge of the airplane you'll be flying and procedures that will free your brain up for the actual flying the airplane part. I'd recommend getting a PC over Xbox just because of the flexibility and high end mods you have access to if its within your budget!
I am leery of adding any freeware' afraid it will mess up my sim/computer eh! Only some payware from FS Marketplace and the Flightsim Store so far; and no 'mess' yet eh :)

Sim Brief panel was the only thing that looked interesting to me but I already knew about it. The tool bar mod looks meh! But I may give it a look. We need a good map system for finding gates and I don't mean a follow me car. I mean a mod that draws a path on the VFR map to the gate you have been assigned including all assigned taxi ways.
Have you seen the ATR coming with the next world update?? It will highlight the gates for you in the flight computer, that thing will probably be awesome too!

I have an RTX 3080TI with the i9-13900k processor running at 1440x2560 so you should be able to get close if not the same

The 152 is a mod that adds a lot of functionality and realism to the default 152. If you check out my review of it I go through some of the details!

Right now I don’t think so, although with WASM being released on Xbox never say never

I actually use the free version of 42 flow for now. Haven’t needed the paid version yet.

Most of these are for PC for now, with WASM coming to Xbox that may not be the case in the future

Addons you need is FlightSim itself. Your favourite aircraft, your favourite airfields, 3rd party traffic. Full stop. All other stuff just bring you CTD and other magic things.
Not really. Ctd is really rare. I can't remember the last one and I'm running dozens of add-ons
@@carrotsandrunning I used to run dozens of addons in FS9, FSX, P3D. Now I decided that I am done with stuttering, freezes, ctd, etc. Have only PMDG b738, several ORBX / Gaya / Aerosoft airfields and FSLTL traffic. And I am pretty happy with smooth performance. Simbried, Navigraph, VPT I have separately on my iPad.

I have frozen screens instead of CTDs… other screens are still working… task manager stalls too…

Yes I believe so, although with SU12 WASM came to Xbox so you may start to see some mods like this in the future

We’ll have to agree to disagree.
My reasoning was that since it’s still a choice in whether or not to get it then it’s no different than any other scenery mod. Not to mention that it is the ultimate training ground for all types of flying because it has every single type of terrain! Then we can’t discount how beautiful it makes the area. Also, I find myself flying in NZ more often then not and considering it was free, and covers more area than most payware, makes it that much better.
Yeah but we all already know about them for 98 percent of us it’s nothing new. The others were great I’ve never heard of them and it’s mot like I can see them the moment I launch the sim so it’s great hearing about them. But including those just feels like anime filler episodes
Most airports look like shoe box buildings if you want good looking airports you need to spend about $1,000 plus X plane has all airports looking good Microsoft has turned a sim into a cash cow.
X plane looks like trash. It is not even comparable anymore to msfs. Go get your eyes checked!!
Not really… there are always huge discounts. There are also dozens of highly detailed freeware airports.

Please refer to it as a sim/simulator. Calling it a game does not serve anyone in the sim community well. If we think "Game" then we will be gamers, rather than aviation enthusiasts. I keep my gaming side separate to my simulation side, and if we all made that decision and stuck with it we would be making it known that we aren't just playing a video game. Flight simulation is more than a game: I wish developers would get on board and call it a simulation. "Game" should not be a word associated with "Flight Simulation".
