It was a tight match and Meddy played even better than usual, but ultimately Jannik just has a stronger game from the baseline (which is where a lot of points were played). His precision in placing the ball on the court is rivaled only by Nole at this point. I'm happy he took home the trophy - couldn't have happened to a nicer guy!

      This Noli fan is despicable.
Sinner is the champion but he inserts Noli in the picture.
Remember this: Noli said, "Nobody can stop me." The height of arrogance, his little regard for others, confirming his low social class origins.

Beating Novak and Medvedev as clearly most succesful hardcourt players past years..is big stuff..he is a guy ready to battle against the best now, following 2nd Alcaraz as yongsters on tour...we have great exciting tennis coming up in the future to come.

Sinner's mentality is just unreal. He can achieve a lot, he will not only take the Australian Open title. He's better than Alcaraz in my opinion, and the main reason is that sometimes Alcaraz is nervous, his mentality is not really strong, while Jannik is like a computer, he plays methodical, decisive and carefully thinks over every shot. And also sometimes Alcaraz is a bit disrespectful, while Sinner is always kind on the interviews and press conferences!

It was a very struggling match, really entertaining final, where there's nothing to say about what Sinner has made today.
He never ceased of fighting when his opponent was playing very well and leading two sets up, to clinch a title (his first major) making an incredible comeback win.
This has been definitively his best tournament ever. Well-deserved for him.
