Djokovic got a taste of what it feels like to play against himself. Sinner playing extremely solid tennis, nothing big and crazy, just deep shots with good pace, keeping the pressure on the other side of the court and look for any opportunities to move in and attack; that being said, Djokovic had a lot of uncharacteristic unforced errors. Alcaraz really need to learn to play "boring" like Sinner and Djokovic instead of going for big shots and pleasing crowds.
Welcome to the next generation of Tennis, Sinner and Alkaraz toppling one of the greats, Wow Sinner, you can play some shots😂😂😂 Well done to you. ❤❤❤❤🎉

I honestly think that djokovic does get the nerves more than people think, most commonly when he senses that his opponent is at peak enthusiasm. Alcaraz was at this form last season, but it’s so hard to attain for more than a few months. Djokovic is still the most consistent at the moment.
Great game Sinner ! well deserved but people who are showing hatred for Djokovic & trashing him should go get a life. These youngsters e.g. Sinner , Alcaraz are the future but legends like Djokovic are forever !
Sinner played really well. GOAT was definitely out of it early. He shanked many forehands that he usually makes. Sinner's serve was superb and his returns were even better. Medvedev is also a good defender so it should be a great final! We are witnessing the emergence of the new big 3 or 4 that will probably be sharing slams going forward..
Jannik makes me think of Wawrinka back when he was THE Bogeyman for Djokovic in the Majors, capable of bludgeoning the ball from both wings, but with more consistency.
I could always see the grand slam loading for Sinner.. everyone talks about Alcaraz and the pressure is getting to that kid.. Sinner has done a fine job to fly under the radar so far and that's too because Alcaraz has been so good to grab all the attention.. Technically Sinner is at par with Alcaraz and free of so much media attention.. he is the next big thing just like Alcaraz and I can see both of them will form next big rivalry in tennis
In my humble opinion that Djokovic reached the level where people wondering: is it possible to beat him in a slam? Is he going to win 4 slams in one year? That’s crazy! Can you believe what sort of level is that? Doesn’t matter he lost obviously sinner played the tennis of his life and he deserve it but all in all credit to the old man
"Jannik Sinner's victory over Djokovic at the Australian Open was more than a simple tennis match; it was a historic moment that will echo through the ages of the sport. Sinner not only faced the challenge of facing one of the greatest players of all time, but he also showed the world his courage, skill and unwavering resilience. With every serve, every volley and every strike, he demonstrated relentless determination, refusing to back down in the face of pressure and the renown of his opponent. His victory is a testament to the talent and tireless dedication that got him this far, inspiring fans around the world to believe in the power of dreams and the importance of never giving up. Monumental performance! Tactical intelligence, strategy, increasingly refined and precise technique, crazy mental strength: who else will stop you if you were to bring the percentage of your first serves over 70%? In the next few years I expect a tug of war with Alcaraz for the place of number one in the world, but my heart and support is all for you Yannik! It's wonderful to see you playing at these levels!
I despise the commentators for being so dumbfounded by Djokovic not playing up to his level. Sinner pushed him to that point. He had an answer for everything Djokovic tried and played at a tempo that he wasn’t ready for. That’s why he was going so big or trying different things leading to the “unforced” errors. Of course players have off days and this was an off day for Djokovic but there’s someone on the other side of the court that had something to do with that
Djokovic has played and beaten such great players this late in the tournament and sinner was winning 6-1 6-2 lol I think u can cut some slack for people who couldn’t believe it as easily as u
Agreed. They're so biased. When the Djoker lost, the excuses always have been, "Oh, he's not himself today, he's tired, or something of that nature." When Nadal lost, they said his style of play cannot add up. To me, when you lost, you lost and there's no excuse. Tennis, or any sports for that matter, it's about consistency, stamina, and tactics. When a person figured out his/her opponent's weaknesses, that person wins. I am a Nadal's fan, but I believe he withdrew from the AO because he doesn't want to face the Djoker, not from the injury. Nadal cannot beat the Djoker in AO because his top spins are not deep enough into the baseline. I cannot believe he or his coaching staff still cannot figure that out. If you don't hit the ball deep into the baseline corner consistently like Sinner did in this match or Alcaraz did at the Wimbledon last year, you cannot defeat the Djoker, unless it's at the French Open, where the court is slower and his opponents can retrieve his returns or counter strikes. Congrats to Sinner on this well deserved win. There's nothing off about the Djoker. You figured him out and out played him.
13:55 - It's almost as if Djokovic has hypnotized an entire generation of players with his shot selection. Zverev, Ager-Alliassime, and others all unwittingly play into Djokovic's hands again and again. Great finally to see Jannik waking up from the spell 💪
Father time waits for no one.Well done Sinner,a new era is coming. What an impressive perfomance to beat Novak on his home ground ,where he was literally unbeatable for so many years. There goes the " golden slam" that the pundits predicted that Djokivic will win.In fact winning another grand slam will not be that easy anymore, with all the young guns improving mentally.

I honestly think that djokovic does get the nerves more than people think, most commonly when he senses that his opponent is at peak enthusiasm. Alcaraz was at this form last season, but it’s so hard to attain for more than a few months. Djokovic is still the most consistent at the moment.
He may be a “sinner” but he sure is a badass tennis player!
Down goes Goliath!
Great game Sinner ! well deserved but people who are showing hatred for Djokovic & trashing him should go get a life. These youngsters e.g. Sinner , Alcaraz are the future but legends like Djokovic are forever !
Inspirational and blessed ❤
Congrats Jamik! About time. There were lots of errors. Self destruct! Powerful match for Jamik!
Congrats Sinner, that was really impressive. It's ok Novak
Simply wonderful Jannik!!
Jannik makes me think of Wawrinka back when he was THE Bogeyman for Djokovic in the Majors, capable of bludgeoning the ball from both wings, but with more consistency.
Sinner is very humble with a very lovely face look..Nice to see him..lovely smile too...
Age is catching up to you, Nole!
While Djokovic is an icon of the sport, this match marks the beginning of a new era, where Young talents like Sinner are ready to challenge the status quo and shape the future of tennis. May this victory be just the beginning of an extraordinary journey for Jannik Sinner as he continues to leave his indelible mark on the world of sport."

Sinner is the favorite in the final
Lol you are funny guy
@@Anticommunism99he has just beaten Meddy last two times.. both finals... 🤔
@@francescomeneghel4591 never played at GS level , Medvedev is just too good for that kid he can come back from 0 2 in no time .
@@Anticommunism99 again... See you sunday 😉
@@Anticommunism99 how you doing long tongue wise guy ? 😉
Novak 36 years old ,play more than 20 years, proved himself that nobody can do like him, Siner is younger almost 15 years , this match he is played well ,but he must prove a long long time
Monumental performance!
Un magnifico ragazzo dotato di una classe fantastica❤
Come on, did you see the match and the score? It didn't look a GS semifinal, the match against Rublev was more challenging.
& also being very biased!
When Djokovic is using drop shots he is desperate
Djokovic wasnt at his best. He just wasnt good that day and sinner was playing at his best possible level.
Well said!
Evo reprize,prava uzivancija gledati🤣🤣🤣🤣
Wow crazyyyyy, Sinner 😱
DJOLE IDEMO DALJE...!!!❤❤❤Cestitke za Sinera.😊
🥰🥰🥰
Congratulations ❤🎾
Sinner vs Alcaraz, future of men's tennis is bright. There is a chance both Sinner and Alcaraz can break Djoker's slam record.
Yes, certainly at the FO, the real test is to stop Nadal winning 15 now.
Do the commentators come from the Djokovic Official Fan Club? It hurts to listen to them.
Novak seemed flat and tried although Jan was brilliant, typical generous and gracious reaction from Novak at the net.
Father time waits for no one.Well done Sinner,a new era is coming. What an impressive perfomance to beat Novak on his home ground ,where he was literally unbeatable for so many years. There goes the " golden slam" that the pundits predicted that Djokivic will win.In fact winning another grand slam will not be that easy anymore, with all the young guns improving mentally.
and the Olympics are three set matches so he won't have the "advantage" of the grueling 5-set match.
Ya necesita el tenis que Sinner se consolide como un jugador especial. Talento le sobra. Sólo falta que gane un torneo grande, como Australia.
Little by little, Djokovic is saying goodbye to his career.
