@@souleater8534 yes it’s possible to do a single stage with this. However, I’d say it’s more appropriate for medium/ hard paint. On soft paint you may notice some haze.
we usuall do repainting work of card. So what should we use ?? we are really scared with new pads as during polishing it might cut some newly painted surfaces
Hello!!! Its been a while now, since the unbelievable webinar days!!! But after all those cars, bikes and Rib Boats ... i can realy say that this is well worth it!!! Its a whole new world of beutifull detailing hours!!!
We'll get some new webinar content up eventually, just focusing on this type of short-form content for now to answer a lot of common questions. Thanks for watching and commenting.
Just used my yellow pad today on my bmw 430i used the yellow top fine polish then used mothers surface prep followed by Adams Graphene spray. Car looks amazing I like the yellow wool vs the foam pads
I am going to polish a Tesla which has soft paint with the yellow wool and Uno Advanced, do you think this would be a good idea since it is soft paint?
with rupes and other companies they dont cover areas for Bodyshop where we re- paint whole cars and then we have to deliver a mirror finish panels to the customer. can da wool pads can be used with newly re-painted cars ??
Absolutely! Our systems are in use daily in collision repair facilities, car factories, and custom paint shops around the world. If you're familiar with the name Charley Hutton, this video is him describing how he uses the RUPES BigFoot System and wool pads in his shop, which is widely considered one of the highest quality paint shops in the world: ruclips.net/video/x_kRbdW8_f8/видео.html
Cleaning pads immediately after use allows you to more completely and easily clean them. Dried compounds and polishes are much more difficult to remove from the pad than wet/fresh ones are. With a product like UNO Protect the polymers will actually cure and "seal" the pad making it almost impossible to fully clean the pad once it dries. We recommend cleaning as soon as you're done with them. We have a great video that outlines the specific ways to maintain and clean your pads: ruclips.net/video/SNdSdbtWdyk/видео.html
Hi Rupes team. Could you please give us some tips to work on boats. I’m about to buy a rotary polisher to work on boats. I have the Mille, Mini, Duetto and the ibrid.
Hi, I just checked out the Rupes Paint Correction App. I noticed with the Mille, it’s still recommended to use the Mille specific compound and polish over the new DA Coarse and Fine????
The Mille compounds continue to be offered in some markets, which is probably why our tech team left them in, but we'll verify and make changes if necessary. Thanks for letting us know!
Lacquers and Mammals! haha All kidding aside, I absolutely love this pad, it works great, but also feels great on the unit which is thing is super important
Thanks for commenting. We don't validate our products for use with other brands, so that would be an experiment for you to conduct. It is almost impossible to know what is going to be the perfect solution for a particular paint until you perform a test spot. The paint hardness, severity of defect, and several other factors will change with every application.
It really depends on how you use and maintain the pad. If you rotate through different pads during a job, avoid too much heat buildup, keep cycle times short, use non-excessive tool speeds, and clean them regularly, any pad (not just wool) can have an extended life. But once you notice it's not at its peak performance anymore, we would recommend tossing it. Hope this helps
Its is amazing how you respond and reply all the comments even though you are a big company.

Do you have to clean your pads as soon as you get done with them or is it OK to let them sit for a couple weeks before you clean them ?
