    Neer Dosa is a famous South Indian style breakfast dish .
    This recipe is the authentic Mangaloren style breakfast recipe which we have been making in our house .
    How to make Neer dosa
    Ingredients
    1 cup raw white rice
    2-3 tbsps fresh grated coconut
    1 tsp salt
    Water as required .
    Method
    Wash and soak 1 cup white rice.
    Soak it for minimum 4-6 hours .
    To make the batter , drain the rice and add into the blender , add salt and fresh grated coconut . Coconut id added for flavours h , you can skip coconut .
    Add water and grind into a thick paste .
    Do not add more water , add water just enough to make a thick paste .
    Grind well and make sure it has turned into a smooth fine paste .
    Transfer the paste into a bowl and add water to dilute it .
    Add water accordingly to make it a runny batter .
    Heat a pan , and brush some ghee or oil .
    In this video I have used iron pan which is traditionally used to make Neer dosa , You can also use non stick pan if it’s unavailable.
    Mix and add a ladle batter into the pan . The pan should be hot and the flame on medium .
    Cover the pan and let it cook for 1-2 minutes .
    Open the lid and let the dosa cook for 1 minute . Run a spatula around the dosa and remove from the pan .
    You can also fold the dosas into a triangle shape .
    Repeat the process and make more dosas . Stack them in a hot pot or plates .
    Serve it with spicy or sweet sides .
