I have the same paint set. Your video really helped me understand how to apply the paints!
If you have the time, please make more videos for the other paint sets.
Also what size brush are you using? It looks like the perfect size for Infinity miniatures.

Hi Thanks, there is few other videos already done, few more coming soon. I use Artis Opus series M.

you need two brush sizes for miniature in that scale, a size 2 for 90% of your work and a size 0 or 00 for fine detail work. Go for windsor newton series 7, da vinci maestro or raphael 8404, those three brands are the best quality brushes for miniature painting. ah and of course a brush soap i highly recommend for preserving your brushes and a cheap brush set for around 5 dollars with all size that you can use for mixing colors and similar dirty work. have fun painting ;)

any idea why the entire model is painted orange first only to be largely covered with black in the next step?

Because in the printed guide they used airbrush, so they have to do lot of clean up after!! 😉

@@TheTabletopArtist odd. AG is usually quite fond of his liquid mask. i woul guess he was requested to go without, since it is not included. same goes for the airbrush. the color set is still good it appears, despite the unfitting guide.

what I really dont like are those lazy guides by giraldez, same with his painting books. Its not in depth enough, actually those explanations are barely scratching the surface. And way to much happens from one pic to another. He is one of the most gifted mini painters on the planet...but a lazy ass teacher. Never the less, those vallejo colors are at least top notch and most of the minis in the painting sets are too.

Yea he said that was his learning point from books and guides. He never done anything like that before. I agree with you for paint sets.

@@alfonxoduff yes I know, been one his subscriber when he still had double digit subs and know him personally for some years now. It was definetly a step in the right direction.
Now he only needs to up his game on his english skill so that he voices them himself.
