12:25 the Dark Elf's armour, especially his pauldrons, are based on the 'turtle shell' brooches worn by Viking-age women. This game had an interesting way of weaving touches of real-world design into its fantastical aesthetic.
Actually, reason Sindri gave in the game isn't true. The real reason is never mentioned, I actually waited on them to reveal the truth but the never did.

Sindri brought broks corpse to the lake of souls and retrieved his soul bringing brok back to life but his skin stayed blue. Sindri never told brok what happened and 2 weeks later they finished the axe.
cant wait for the ragnarok. i hope they stick with this game design so many imbicile out there trying to compare GoW with rdr2 or even saying gow world is boring because all we do is combat. do they even know the previous gow ? it was not an open world game.
I'm really close to getting it platinum myself. Just need to open all those Niflheim chests.... got any tips to get it done quicker? Muspelheim trials were way more fun.
@@outbreakperfected9374 the best you can do is just have a full set of niflhiem gear on and find the chests. It took me some time you just have to grind it.
@@outbreakperfected9374 Focus on getting mist echos in the first few areas to acquire the Mist Armor (Deadly Set) which makes this grind a lot easier, then open the 5000 mist echo legendary chest in the Chamber to get the last material needed for a fully upgraded leviathan axe. Afterwards just do a full lap of the “maze”collecting all chests including Nornir Chests this is including the side areas (there is a Valkyrie in one of the side chambers) and return to base with 8-10k mist echos, wash rinse and repeat until you have enough mist echos to open all chests and realm tears in Ivaldis Work shop.
I originally experienced this on a base PS4 that made me wish I had PS4 Pro during my first play through. Playing this again on PS5 at 60fps was like night and day. I cannot wait to see how good the sequel is when maximizing next gen hardware.

I might be way off here, but looking at the in game models and concept art for the elves gave me the impression that, despite their different aesthetics and garments, they're more or less the same beings underneath their robes. Things like their shape, size and proportions are all identical, so maybe the light elves are every bit as weird under their robes as the dark elves. For all we know they might be the same species, just living in separate realms. Which may go some way to explaining why they're in the midst of a war when we encounter them in the game...

Ok so as soon as she said that the light elves really give her the creeps and that there is probably more to them then it seems, I remembered at the end of the dark elf boss he said something like you don’t know what you’ve done. And then I realized dude the light elves are the bad guys the whole time. I thought he was saying that to be ominous but they’re trying to keep the light from the light elves cuz they’re evil.🤯🤯
God of war 2018 have a very stunning visual even 1st God of war 2005 blew anyway my mind what a graphics visual that game had that time even today I think if you play that game right now you will be amazed how good it is

I've played this game at least 6 or 7 times, currently playing it now, and I never noticed the trees in Alfheim reaching towards the light of Alfheim.
