Yes, I know. I'll miss him too. I wish him the best in retirement. He's earned it. Nothing against the man replacing him, I wish him the best as the next voice of the Reds, but I'll always remember Marty Brennaman (and Joe Nuxhall) as the Reds radio announcers who I grew up listening to.

Marty and Joe (and Jeff) are really the only announcers I've listened to for my entire life. It's going to be strange not to hear Marty any more. There's no way anybody can replace him.

I'll for sure miss hearing Mr. Brennaman on the radio. Especially hearing him say "And this one belongs to the Reds" after the Reds would post a victory.

Nice tribute to Marty, our Hall of Fame Legend, and the Reds' greatest broadcaster by a long sight! Sadly, the team under-performed, losing their final Home game, and depriving the Reds fans of one more ATOBTTR!

I’ve looked everywhere for years for “Mark Teixeira's grand slam capped a six-run eighth Sunday as the Texas Rangers rallied for a 7-5 victory over the Toronto Blue Jays.” This was July 18th 2004. Do you have any ideas where I could find it?
