Every time I see KOC I see a young Bud Grant. I think in Bud's 3rd season in 1969, he took the team to the Super Bowl against the Chiefs. The Vikings played the Giants on Opening day and lost to Fran Tarkenton. They ended the season losing to Atlanta. They played the Giants already and take on ATL in December. Back then you had a roster of 40. Today it's 53 with practice squad players. The Vikings will play with their throwbacks on Sunday honoring Number 20 Bobby Bryant. That great memory of him running for a Touchdown vs the Rams on that Sun shine filled cold day at Metropolitan Stadium still give me goose bumps like the Minneapolis Miracle......Skol
