PD Edu: Apathy and Depression in PWP

Apathy and Depression in PWP - presented by Dr. Devoto. We will discuss similarities and differences between apathy and depression in PD then address some strategies for motivation and initiation in daily life.
After earning a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Xavier University and completing post-doctoral fellowship training at the University of Cincinnati’s Aring Neurology, Dr. Devoto joined UC’s Department of Neurology and Rehabilitation Medicine in 2010. Her clinical practice and applied research are dedicated to the neuropsychology of Movement Disorders and the Dementias, with a focus on neuropsychological assessment and psychological psychotherapy to treat mood/behavioral disturbance, improve functionality, and enhance quality of life in those with Movement Disorders.
