I know this is a little off topic but the Samsaran really makes me think of my favorite film: Om Shanti Om, which is about a young couple who get murdered by a corrupt film producer, only to be reincarnated but don't gain their memories until their adulthood. There's a really beautiful sequence where the main character finds his mother, now elderly and best friend and finally recognizes them.

Samsaran Weapon Memory is kinda busted. Compare it to human Unconventional Weaponry, you can pick two weapons (instead of one), it has no restriction on rarity (as opposed to uncommon only), and it allows advanced weapons (as opposed to simple or martial). That's nuts.

YES. The Samsarans will just make BETTER versions of many Advanced Weapon builds than whatever Ancestry they actually came from.
It does still limit a decent amount, it has to have the dwarf, elf, gnome, goblin, halfling, or orc trait to pick. As far as I can see, there isn't a human or leshy trait. This is 34 weapons. Unconventional weaponry has 47 options from just ancestry traits, then you still can get cultural weapons as well. So unconventional weaponry gives access to way more.
Also, unconventional weaponry and Samsaran Weapon Memory effectively work the same for advanced weapons, letting you treat them as martial. You wouldn't pick an advanced weapon with this since it you'd still end up untrained if you weren't trained in martial weapons.
"All this has happened before" is going to amazing for Mastermind rogues. Granted, Samsarans in general seem very nice indeed for MM.
Yeah agreed. On both counts. Samsarans are going to be a skill monkey no matter WHAT class you play.

Consecutive low roll moment. Our gunslinger during his first combat rolled a Nat1 on his first attack. Used a hero point... Rolled a Nat1 again.....
Hahahhaha oh that sucks. That's why I make Hero Points give you a success. You don't reroll, you just do the thing.
Can you imagine a Samsaran in Starfinder 2E that has memories from Pre-Gap? That has to be frustrating.

25:29 Useful if you have some easily healing or are rarely attacked (backliner). Or if you have a source of Temp HP.

Not finished, but making a call now: Healing Samsaran is going to be pretty meh on its own, but have some REALLY Nice Ancestry feats that have it as a Prereq

Life's blood in not a net gain, unless you are a healer samsaran, and know that battle medicine yourselve is better than do ir for an ally, also you may have used battle medicine already with your ally

Some confusion I have, do samsaran change heritage with each new life ? what about versatile heritages ? can a samsaran Sylph reincarnate into a samsaran changeling ?
How does an undead samsaran work ? Will they try an become undead in their next life as well ?
This ancestry also somehow feels like to me like it would have made more sense as a versatile heritage.
That said I do like the idea of a samsara chef which tries to learn a different place cooking each life

YES! Versatile Heritage would make SO much more sense.
Maybe it's easiest to look at it this way: Heritages (versatile or otherwise) are recessive traits that any Samsaran could have, and any Samsaran can have physical or mental traits of any past Ancestry. But the Samsaran Ancestry is always dominant.
Meaning that even though you will be reborn as a blue-skinned Samsaran with memories of the past, you can still have recessive traits of past lives like physical characteristics or even a versatile heritage bleed into your new body.
i would really love to see the yaoguai - my gf and i just finished watching soul eater and i am curious if that ancestry would let you effectively play as a weapon, even if it's not good lol
They are next on my shooting list. I just finished shooting 2 more tonight and rendering 3 more. Yaoguai is next to shoot. :D

Do you have a problem with cat hair or does cat hair just love you?
Brother should get an air filter at least for the recording room. Being that he talks alot in there he probably breathes more in that room than any other room.
The air in Phoenix is so dry that the the cat hair just drifts through the air if it's light enough. It takes a long time to land and then it clings to things from static electricity. It's really hard to get it off of my face without using water.
I have 2 air filters (Phoenix has frequent high pollution advisory warnings) already, but they're too loud for the recording room.
I would love to hear about the Yaksha ancestry or the Spirit Warrior archetype.
