I'm an old Lexus lover, having owned 5 over the past 20 years. I just went with the NX350 Luxury package, only because the 350h was 3 months backordered and they were charging $5k over MSRP. Actually got the white and wanted the Palomino interior but that also was not on their radar for a couple of months so had to settle for black. Lexus was just awarded the top spot for dependability this week which was a major reason I went with Lexus. I never had one that had any sort of mechanical problem. The dealer was very accomodating with my trade in. Gave me $1,500 OFF MSRP of the new NX350 and also gave me $2,000 OVER other dealers valuation for my Honda Touring, so I got approx. 7% discount off the MSRP. Pretty happy with the deal but still not used to spending over $50k for a car.
First congratulations and welcome to the channel! We are completely aligned, we really wanted to go with the Lexus, because of our experience with previous vehicles and the reliability. Sounds like you got a great deal as well and I agree with you, not used to paying this price for a car. Nonetheless, we are so happy with it with just a few thousand kilometres of driving. Now it’s not 100% perfect but it’s pretty damn close. I’ll be making a video on those specific items shortly to share and curious if you see the same.
We can get the NX350H in the SF Bay Area at MSRP now with no add ons. The NX hybrid we spec it is around $46-7K. Just put in a deposit on one, wait time is at least 3-6 months. Seems like Lexus is producing more RX350H at the Canadian plant than the Japan plant where the built the NX hybrid. But we did want to spend $55-60K+tax fee on an RX hybrid though.
I purchased a 2023 NX350 luxury nori green and black interior. I love it. I had previously owned a white 2011 Lexus ISC and was ready for a change. I am so happy with the purchase.

Thanks man I appreciate you :) Hoping to continue to up the production quality and hopefully make you guys laugh along the way!
Excellent review. Link of the black wheel?
Thanks Wilson! More videos will come as well! Here they are: factoryreproductions.com/shop/lexus/fr-80/
@@carswithsonduren I have a 2022 nx350H same exterior color and trying to get the black wheel to match the white exterior (I have 20-inch wheel) what is the best way to do this? Replace with the black wheel or just get the wheel coating?
Very comprehensive and helpful review. I’m sold on the 350h now. Thank you!
Anytime and welcome to the channel! So now the question is which package and which colour combo?!
@@carswithsonduren The white looks great but we’re going for the green as about 60% of the cars here in Japan are white 😂 As for the package, Lexus Japan let’s you pick and choose from any available option unlike in Canada.
Interesting! The green we really considered as well very unique and beautiful. Classy.
11:24 Did you say this only requires REGULAR fuel.. and not PREMIUM!!?? 😮😯😲
That is correct. The minimum requirement is 87 octane in Canada for the hybrid model.
Ordered mine over a year ago... still waiting. Test drove it a few weeks ago. The engine is a little whiny - they should have added more sound insulation. Either than that it's fine.
Agree with you. The engine is a bit rough sounding but I still can’t believe you’re waiting. I really hope you get here as soon as possible waiting a year as a long time.
Good review. I gave mine back after two weeks. I hated the ride! Bouncing all over the place.
What did you end up picking up instead?
@@carswithsonduren An Acura TLX. Very different. I wanted a good driving car. Thanks for asking.
@thinkingoutsidethebox2265 nice which year btw? I haven’t driven the new ones yet.

You won’t regret with the Lexus brand for reliability!
100% agree Aaron! Our 2009 Lexus IS250 just hit over 370K! Still runs like a tank. And I have a lot of confidence with this hybrid system since they’ve been doing it for so long and the warranty backs that up!
How much is your exact same car without hybrid please?
@@carswithsonduren I used to have Honda accord with over 210k but sold it to my co-worker and he still drives it
Another brand with top reliability 👌
Hello,
Where did you get those replica F Sport wheels for your NX? I’m looking for a set as well.
Hey Ayden! Here you go: factoryreproductions.com/shop/lexus/fr-80/
@@carswithsonduren Awesome! Thank you so much!
Beautiful SUV
trying to get one! so hard to get one in California. just the hybrid
Yea I heard there is like a 1 year wait now
We just put in a deposit on a NX350H with a SF Bay Area dealer, MSRP with no add ins. The wait time is at least 3-6 months. I do see a lot of higher trim Luxury package not being sold which I understand. At $55K, I would rather buy a RX350H Premium trim.
@@jml9550 I have only found Serramonte doing msrp. I ordered one from Longo in southern ca. bigger inventory. Concord wants 10k over msrp
@@diannahersch5755 Stevens Creek is pure MSRP with no add ons, so I put in a deposit with them. Fremont is MSRP with $900 add ons, but the add ons is very negotiable if you are serious of buying. Yeah Concord is absolutely crazy to want $10K markups especially in the current market situation. I contact Longo but the wait is like a year.
@@jml9550 ok thanks. Maybe I will make another order at Steven’s creek! Which car are you getting?
Are the run-flat tires loud?
I haven’t found them too loud to be honest, but they are definitely louder than regular tires.
may i know where can find the wheel, cause i get my NX350h last month too, i am looking for a 20' black wheel, thank you so much
So these winter wheels are actually 18s FYI
@@carswithsonduren are you able to provide a link? Thanks in advance.
www.canadawheels.ca/replika-wheels/r224-gloss-gunmetal-w117008?gclid=Cj0KCQiAt66eBhCnARIsAKf3ZNGVC3mvUMdj0MWTTMOAk4E9O4bsogqfgf8xKlyth7uNoxRJj_coZbgaAnlFEALw_wcB
Why did you go with 18 inch rims for your winter wheels?
You can get a bigger tire wall which should help if you hit curbs or anything else. Plus it’s cheaper than having 20s for the winter and better road feel.
Great tour. Just some feedback - things like the brake assist when you're at a light can be a big deal for folks with chronic pain or disabilities so I wouldn't phrase it "lazy."
Very true I did not think of that!
Do you have have to pay for remote start after the free trial?
Yes after 3 years I believe. Lame.
Great car! And I am also looking for one. Where did you buy this car from? Will it possible to tell how much paid over MSRP? I am in California and all dealership I talked are asking to put deposit without a confirmed date of delivery:(
We paid exactly MSRP. Is the deposit refundable?
@@carswithsonduren It should though I did not explicitly ask. The difficulty part is that they could not give a date on when I can get the car, and told me based on the waiting list, it could take several years. Hope manufacture can speed up their production.
Several years? That’s insane…. This is for the 350H?
@John if you're car shopping in SoCal, the Lexus dealerships in Cerritos and Carlsbad were selling NXs at MSRP. I got my 2022 450h+ at Cerritos, August last year. The also did not have a waitlist at the time, you just have to be at the dealership when they get their monthly allocations.
beautiful
Does your wireless charger work with your iPhone?
It does with my slim case. It was finicky with my wife’s larger case.
@@carswithsonduren what model you have? It doesn't work for my 14 pro
Interesting are you using a case or not? I’m on a iPhone 13 Pro Max.
@@carswithsonduren look at my channel. I have a few videos on it.
I’ll check and sub :)
I have the Copper Crest 2025 F Sport and I dislike it
It’s too small
I am working with the dealer now to get out of it and into an RX
What was the total price that you paid with taxes and fees?
MSRP is about $64K CAD plus taxes in whatever state or province you are in.
how long did it take for delivery after order
We got lucky Mike! We picked up a cancelled order with the exact spec that we wanted and only had to wait about six weeks.
@@carswithsonduren yeah it's probably 8 months in Canada..for an NX350H..still waiting
Wow, that’s insane. I really hope you got yours as soon as possible Mike!
What was your main reason to go with the NX350h vs NX450h+
I’m creating a video on this topic but to summarize it the infrastructure for charging in North America is crappy especially in Canada.
He does not have the money!!!!
Whoever wanted this, just know now you’re getting a baby-mobile😂
did you consider a BMW x3?
It was one of the other SUVs in a larger group that we disqualified early on. We felt the interior luxury was lacking and that was important to us
No shade but couldn’t you have just gotten the rav4 prime? They’re the same car?
The Lexus is obviously more luxurious but the platform is the same correct!
4:37 this rust is on Your car? OMG 😱
Might as well call them all Toyota they all look the same now
Fuel is premium. Not regular. ⛽️
Per the NX 350H manual, premium is recommended, not required. For the NX 350, premium is required.
wrong, again, how many times have you posted that nonsense
Mike not sure if you are talking to me or Billy. I am looking at the owners manual infront of me and it says 87 is the minimum required and that 91 is recommended.
@@mikej238 💯 correct as per Lexus HQ:
“ If you currently drive a 2022 or 2023 Lexus NX 350h the luxury SUV requires premium gas with an octane rating of 91 or higher. Anything less resulting in mechanical failure will not be covered under Lexus warranty provisions”
And you won’t achieve peak performance nor maximum fuel efficiency.
Why not use the proper fuel Lexus engineers recommend?
@@carswithsonduren you are correct . Billy keeps posting that error.
The NX350H as per manual is fine with 87.
Don't know why they recommend premium
The engine spec, is the exact same as the Rav 4 bore stoke and compression. Only difference is larger 46kw electric motor giving it more HP than a Rav 4 Hybrid
if I'm being honest here.... whoever can't maneuver around a tight drive-thru lane and require surround view camera... well.. he/she probably shouldn't be driving on public roads?
Well I’d say if those who are unfamiliar with the car dimensions etc. Maybe it’s a tight spot etc etc.
@@carswithsonduren I seriously considered the NX... but ended up with the new BMW X1(U11) because I wanted something short for city driving.(NYC)
Nice how are you liking it so far?!
@@carswithsonduren it just went into production in Germany 2 days ago, so it will probably arrive in Eastern U.S. in 1st week of March, hopefully. :) FYI, my current car is a 7-year-old Lexus RX with 180,000 miles that still drives beautifully. :)
Soooo it’s just an overpriced Venza?😂 got it
Have you compared the 2 yourself? Absolutely not.
Just for flexing…
Will it impact your warranty if you do the maintenance yourself? Something to think about since the car is new. Thanks for the video. ✨🫶
It won’t! You just need to make sure you have proof of the materials you use, proof of work etc and it will be fine. I also confirmed this with Lexus.
