    This tip is a heavy lifter that saves hours in a real world business environment. Reports are easier to create and analyze making me a wealth of information in weeks that decade long employees couldn't communicate.

    I use this virtually every day for work. Handy also to use the Text option if you need to keep leading zeros.

    This used to be one of my favorite tools until Excel advanced (I think the FILTER function is now my favorite). My only real problem with Text-to-Columns is the single-character split. So, sure CSV were easy files/data to convert, but comma-separated lists-like names- always needed more work (TRIM) to be complete, and it was always manual initiation.
