That snarky comment was uncalled for. She worked hard and she made it, so encourage and appreciate her. And damn that star dress is so pretty. I hope they make that dress in real clothes because i would buy that one.
The first one was such an art piece, I mean just look at the sculptured animals and the way the leaves were sewn. It was so under appreciated :(

Yes. Totally agree. The toilet paper dress was amazing. The leaf sandals, the wings, the animals, were fantastic. But I thought that Monty and that young floppy guy (don't know his name) were pretty condescending towards her. Agreed that the dress and her efforts were totally under valued and under appreciated
It's good but it's not original. I've seen a lot of designers especially from the Philippines who did bird feathers themed gowns made of newspapers or recycled plastic materials. Although the intricacy of details are better than the winner. Only that the winner's silhouette and pattern is more flattering.

Disappointed in Monty. That woman did an amazing job especially considering this was her first try. Her attention to detail and creativity were a win for me.
Monty and the Zanna really pulled a “ mean girls” moment there with the nice to your face / horrible as you turn around move.
Acting like they love it , then shooing her away & saying “ it was a hot mess” and “ i agree” laughing at her was so uncalled for. Like she was beneath them.

No, instead of saying you can't do things , why not try ? Won't be perfect at first , but practice makes perfect ! I am a creator, I work with yarn, threads etc, at first I made many mistakes , took my projects appart, started over again. Just kept trying !

I’m going to Randy. Monte was....really unpleasant. Those wings were beautiful, and she even said that it was the hardest part! It looks like a forest fairy-lively. It’s packed, which makes it lively and eccentric.
I realize the judges were looking only at the aesthetic value with the one they chose although I did like the one they chose! I felt that Monty shouldn't have criticized the moms entry. For a first-timer that was awesome and she had a lot of detail granted she did not need the owl that was Overkill.

Both of you honestly put my thoughts into words since I was also upset by Monty, but knowing his attitude in the say yes to the dress show, I shouldn't have been surprised.

Right! I paused the video right there to go to this section and see if anyone else peeped the rudeness. Monty, honey, speak your mind and tell it like it is but be contructive and tell the artist directly if something happened to be, overkill. ( I believe thats the work he may have been looking for). Have enough respect to be blunt instead of shady. Personally I loved this dress and this woman's sense of style. I would love a woodland fairy wedding dress with all the bells and whistles and then some!!

Cheyenne Hoerr Monte is used to dealing with materials in typical wedding dresses, which are pretty conservative to fashion runway designs. I too felt he was snarky to the designer and didn’t appreciate the time and effort that went into making a dress of this medium. The judges should have to make some clothing item out of tissue to appreciate how hard it is!🤘

I was between the star dress and the one that won. I like both of them. The sleeves on the star one were so amazing. But the details on the bodice of the winning one... I wouldn't be able to decide between them.
I personally think the silver in the front and sleeves were not placed correctly which threw off the color balance and kinda took away from it but it was beautifully detailed

With the amount of work and time that goes into the making of these dresses, I think they should technically cost more than traditional wedding gowns lol.
Yeah one guy said he spent 550 hours making his dress...at an incredibly low rate of $10/hour, you’d be spending $5,500 at least on that dress-not even accounting for the price of tens of thousands of sheets of toilet paper

Honestly, all of them were amazing.. The winner's dress was amazing in movement and structure and sillhouette amd all the other dresses had amazing detailing, amazing raw talent and just had such amazing taste

That is an absolutely gorgeous dress. I love how it moved. I love the traditional bridal elements of it. I love hat & the veil. I can see this dress being re-created w/ fabric in stunning wedding-day dress.

I would hate to work on something that hard that was that disposable. I Loved all of the designs. They picked a stunner to win. The lines, flowiness and hat blew me away. I'd want to take the owl one home and hang it up somewhere. It was so unique. Great show.
