That's one thing that REALLY bugs me about Modern Marvel... Nobody seems to know how to make compelling villains any more, so they just heelturn and repackage heroes...
Kind of describes recent comics in general.
I think it's where new writers all think it makes the heroes _deeper_ by having them make flat-out awful choices instead of using classic villains who've always been evil. The problem is the writers don't realize this thinking ends up ruining these characters since readers aren't going to forget about it in a few months. I use to like Scarlet Witch and Blackbolt but after they deliberately killed thousands of innocent people with no consequences, all I get is angry seeing them still still treated as good guys.
pro trick : watch series at Flixzone. I've been using it for watching all kinds of movies these days.
@Alan Malakai yup, I've been using Flixzone} for years myself :)
I've actually had thoughts about Gwen Stacy potentially returning and it's inspired by that issue of _Spider-Gwen_ where she went to an alternate universe where Gwen found out Peter's secret identity, broke up with him, and never got killed by the Green Goblin. She went on to become a scientist/policewoman and even got super powers when she bonded with the Venom symbiote. So having crazy clone Gwen meet up with a symbiote to become sexy She-Venom to torment Spider-Man sounds real interesting story potential.
Clone Conspiracy, to me, felt very tired and Dan Slott's writing was just going through the motions. Much like Volume 3 (the book that took place after Superior Spider-Man), all of his problems are at full-swing: Making Peter Parker an unlikable douchebag, villains that have no weight, good ideas being wasted, and having a terrible excuse for an ending.
I've never cared much for Ben Riley. I don't hate him, but I never cared much for him as a character. The idea of him being a villain, or at least an anti-hero, wouldn't be so bad, but his motives are so poorly explained, and he isn't really explored that much. It's just as simple as "Hey, Ben's back, and he's a douche! Cool, right?" Well, no not really.
This event also reeks of nostalgia overload. This has been an issue in the main Spidey book for a while now, but never has it been so much of a problem here. Remember Gwen Stacy and her father when they died? Remember when Octavius was a villain? Remember when Doctor Conners had a family, that he turned into lizard people at the end of the story? Yeah, I remember all of that (sans that last part with Conners), but I want to see progression, not be reminded of the good ol' days all the time.
It's times like this where I wish Renew Your Vows Volume 2 was canon. That book has a lot of heart and Peter Parker in that book feels and is written the way most fans want to see him be written: As an adult. The main Peter Parker mostly shines outside of his main book or in tie-in events, but Clone Conspiracy was just exhausting. CC isn't as bad as Amazing Grace (Issues 1.1-1.6), but that doesn't make it any less of a mess that reeks of nostalgia and disinterest. The Osborn Identity sounds cool, but knowing Dan Slott, I'm not getting my hopes up.
In the mean time, I'm waiting for Renew Your Vows #5. Anyone else with me?
Hub Pie Totally disagree on nearly every point, but that's cool.
Yes, it is pretty sad that a spinoff title like Renew Your Vows is currently far better than the main title.
Why do you think Peter's a douche? I never thought of him like that when reading Dans' recent shit lol.
Slott doesn't have a grasp of who Peter Parker is as a character. He either writes him to be the most incompetent person in the room, or the biggest asshole imaginable. Volume 3 showcases both of these occurrences.
Spin-off or not, you can't pass up a good book.
It's ok Thorgi. I started my collection with Superior Spider-Man and I was crying my eyes out from Ocks death, of which then just pissed me off when he comes back
It's still cool that he came back tho
I thought Clone Conspiracy was a great event - seeing Ben fall so far after all he went through that his view of The Greater Good went into pure villain territory.
His upcoming solo series is gonna be interesting to see play out.
And Clone Gwen [memories intact of her death] and Peter having those final resolutions was heartfelt. She is definitely dead, imho. What better way to have her go out then standing up to [albeit doomed] the Goblins.
Having comics have things 'that shouldnt be touched' is a silly idea if the concept and execution is done well.
Marvel Executive: "Hey! We need to repeat our greatest stories! Civil War, Superior Spider-Man, Death of Gwen Stacey! All of 'em!"
Writers: "...Ok...It won't work....but Ok...."
12:30 Rihno started changing but then taskmaster kidnapped him and spiderman didn't save him because he had to save aunt May.
Rihno wasn't so happy about it.. 😂😂
i feel you Thorgi about BR. my 1st comic is Spidey. i started in Maximum Carnage. i was there with the advent of BR and was sad when he "died". i thought having another spider character that could share all of Peter's experiences. knowing he is now a villain, hurts.
Personally in my opinion i feel that dan slott needs to leave amazing spider-man because frankly i can't take his run anymore also i want one more day brand new day and one moment in time to be erased asap
here's what i don't get with slott his silver surfer run is really good but his asm is still sucking right now like it seems to me that slott wants to write other characters but peter parker and frankly i can't take him writing spider-man anymore
Ever since Superior, I think Slott has gone heavily downhill lol
i think so too
Agreed... it was going well but this arc really has me worried.
id sure hope so he's preparing for something because i miss mary jane and peter's marriage so much
drinking game for every time Thorgi says "however..." ;)
In my opinion Slott has good ideas, but poor execution. He is also good at small little character tidbits here and there
Honestly, I'm used to this treatment by now. All of my favorite characters in pretty much everything I read/watch get shafted.
Ben Reilly, Knightwing, Future Trunks the list goes on and on. Really awesome characters that just get no love for seemingly no reason.
Ben Reilly was definitely one of my firsts though. I was really interested to see where his character was going to go now that he wasn't constantly being hunted Kane and he could start to have his own life. I liked this fresh new spin on the character and was happy to see Peter get the happy ending he deserved and move into being a parent of a probably super powered kid... and then they killed Ben and Peter's kid was a still birth... along with them they killed all these potential stories I was looking forward to. I pretty much stopped reading Spider-Man regularly at that point.
I'm happy to see ock coming back , sad the character regressed to pre-supérior
Glad to see that I was not the only Ben Reilly fan.
That first moment with Kingpin is very reminiscent of the Back in Black storyline moment when Parker beats Fisk up in jail
It's not like Doc Ock is just back in some shoehorned way. If you've been reading, then you know he's been downloading and uploading his psyche into a bunch of robots, biding his time until he could make his move. If this surprised you and you think "Oh they magically brought Doc Ock back", then you haven't been paying attention.
That explains why you love Miles so much
Thank God someone agrees, like honestly I think the ending to superior was heartwarming. But why is he alive and evil?!
Someone should make a remix of thorgi's "don't dip the chip" speech.
Honestly I'm excited for post Dead No More, Superior Octopus really is something I'm excited for.
Superior Spider-Man was one of the best things to happen recently, Although low key wish he was thrown into Web Warriors after this or join some random exiles team.
I loved Superior Spider-Man and have been asking for him to come back
Zeta Rise I think Superior Ock will be cool for the leader ship role in Hydra (I mean, the color scheme, the tentacles, it's all there), but I'm more excited for post-Secret Empire Superior Ock. That story has a lot of promise.
Dear Dan Slott,
please leave
the reason no one was asking for superior spiderman was because there are too many spiders
Except everyone is asking for Superior Spider-man back
I'm glad that kaine is getting another series. I loved his scarlet spider run plus I'm from Houston so seeing my city and places I know in comics made it even better for me.
The thing about this new Ben Reilly is that he isn't a clone, he isn't even the clone of a clone. He is the clone, of a clone, of a clone, of a clone... he is a 12th or more generation copy of a copy. After that much copying of copies you are going to get a lot of minor errors adding up to larger ones.
I get what you mean Thorgi. Even though i'm an OG Thor fan, I started my comic collection with Jane Foster.
Talk about a shit start.
Fact- In comics if theres no corpus delicti, the character is not dead.
I really liked this event, but I still think Dan Slott needs to go...whatever undoes the damn Black Cat Crime Boss crap. Also, I hate how he went thru all the trouble of redeeming Otto throughout Superior, specially at the end, just to bring him back as the old evil Elton John we knew and hated.
I feel like they should used the event to bring back supporting characters like Jean DeWolff, George Stacy, etc rather than villains.
Notsosmartguy 625 Read it. They did.
BenFalkenstein I thought DeWolff stayed dead.
I'm going to get this book when I get the chance to ok. I promise to you that I will.!😁😀☺😃
This guy has no problem with his self confidence! 1:15 “As many of you know, Spider-man is my favourite superhero of all time. However, what many of you may NOT know, is that back in the 90’s there was an event called ‘The Clone Conspiracy’ (actually: ‘The Clone Saga’).”
Peter David kind of double dipped into the idea of a dark future in which the Hulk was the supreme being on Earth.
the symbiote truly believes that Peter was it's best host, what if the symbiote joined with Ben Reilly!! that messes us Agent Venom but I think it'd be cool
1:23 I think you meant Clone Saga, right?
Jinn bs was thinking that too, but this honestly one reason why I love Thorgi
The amazing Spider-Man VS the superior Octopus....they better not fuck that up
I hope you are not creating expectation.
Scarmob900 coming from the future I say, they didn't fuck it up
I really, really, REALLY hate that they made Ben a super-villain.
K Mac and by "they" of course you mean the Jackal right? Or did you get mad at Marvel for making Cap a hydra agent too? Like getting mad at George Lucas for Vader cutting off Luke's hand.
BenFalkenstein I see what you mean.
marvel needs too bring back the new warriors !!!
I feel so sorry for the kid version of you Professor Thorgi 😅
Wonder what are your thoughts ibn the new Ben reily:scarlet spider series (he's basically a moon knight lol)
I'd love to know your thoughts on the superman reborn event.
Yep, Ock is back with a new body and (I gotta admit great) costume. Spider-Man needs some kind of new OMD (yeah I said it) just to bring him back to greatness.
And yeah, Kaine´s solo series as Scarlet Spider was probably on of the best Spider-related books in recent memory
I for one thought this event was not written for fans like myself who read Spider-Man for the last eight years also or newer fans, I think that the main problem of this event I don't really care about the large mythology of Spider-Man especially when the stuff Dan slott tries to fix are characters that were not highly regarded and fails in my eyes to make them interesting.
This might be a dumb question, but if no one likes the guy's writing why does Marvel allow Dan to continue?
Dan slott is good at making spider man events. So they allowed him to stay also some idiots actually enjoy his writing.
I used to love Ben Riley/Scarlet Spider too. And, though I heard he was in this arc, I stayed far away. I haven't been pleased with Spiderman in a while and this arc just makes me not want to pick up another until Slot is done
Why shouldn't the resurrection of Gwen ever be approached? I mean, sure, her death altered Peter and his perception of heroism and his role in world forever, but bringing her back doesn't change the fact that it happened and Peter was forever changed.
Because then there's less impact.
How long do you suppose it would be before Parker Industries goes under?
On one hand, he's really screwing up his own company. In the latest issue, his people told him that investor and client relations are going down the toilet after he basically made his webware self destruct, and then he left a running experiment for a basic badguy (for him anyway, they're superpowered, but essentially just a couple of brickheads) which then cost him even more investors. Not that the old woman isn't important, but it just shows that Peter isn't cut out for these things.
On the other hand, he delegates. He's not the one actually running his company and he has people he trusts doing the paperwork. But then if those positions are compromised, the whole thing would fall over like a house of cards, the clash with deadpool already showed Parkers own people undermining him without him knowing. He doesn't seem to have the multitasking ability Stark has. Nor does the comics show his company is run or how robust it is.
I am praying that Ben Reilly shows up in Across the Spider-Verse and becomes a best boy enough that it would convince a writer to retcon evil Ben. Also Ben and Kaine should be bro roommates!
Someone should invent time travel already and go back in time and tell Gerry Conway that the clone idea's fucking stupid.
22:33 not exactly. The original Doc Ock is dead. This new Ock is a clone. The original Ock's redemption remained unchanged. This new Ock is not the same guy. He has memories ip until the certain point (Spiderverse) and everything after that is new.
Ok, I'll go read the Kaine Scarlet Spider series. geez. lol. I have Marvel Unlimited and am actually looking for some more good stuff to read, so thanks.
Peter, Kaine, Ben reilly, Miles, Doc oc and Miguel. Six Spider-men in the same universe and on the same planet with 2 on the same city, sort of!
2 are insane and villainous 2 are rogue like/anti-hero and 2 are basic hero type. if he plans on having them all then he should do a Spider-men team up. They would try to kill each other on the spot.
A+ taskmaster shield.
I kinda understand why you think that about Doc Ock, but there's one thing that you're not considering... Ock was always going to come back. If there's two Spider-Man villains that will never permanently die, it's Green Goblin and Doc Ock! If Dan Slott didn't bring him back, the next guy would've. And I don't know about you, but I would much rather have Superior Octopus, than anything else they could've done with him
Marvel took Spider-Man to places I didn't care to know, The whole reason I like Spider-Man was because he fight street level villains , then they went into Cloneing, taken him out into space, visiting other worlds , Alien costume, more Cloning, Breeding Alien Costumes, Giving him Universal powers, fighting Demons in dimensions, Bringing back Dead Villains, bringing back dead Clones, teaming up with everybody, joining Hero Groups, when does he have the time to finish school? take care of AUNT MAY? run a business? have a family?
Finish school? WHat do you mean, finish school?
How many time had Marvel turn Spider-Man "Younger " what issues did he graduate from school? before getting the Baxter building, where did he get money, selling web shooters? he was out Identity, then "called Mephisto to make everybody forget?
How old is Miles? is he suppose to be in school too, running around playing super hero, hooking up with MS. Marvel, Spider Gwen, one minute he's an AVENGER then a Champion, one of these two should be living the lifestyle of Archie?
Jose Bracero yup, he's in school.
when? there was a time when you wake up , get ready to go to school, face your (Villainous peers) Marvel hasn't even done this with Miles, If the Champions were in the same school that would be cool, when bell ring ,then you can go out kick ass, stop bulling from happening, stop teen rapes, save kids from committing suicide, You see the way the CW is writing "Riverdale" that's what should be happening in both Miles life & the Champions
i would love to have superior spider-man back lol
i want pete and otto to fight forever as spider-boys
The only Marvel books I read are Squirrel Girl, Ms. Marvel, and Champions,( I'm a DC guy), but I WILL be picking up a copy of Scarlet Spider #1. See, while I AM pissed at what they've apparently done to Ben, MY Spiderman...Peter David is doing a signing of it. A signing where I can meet him, cosplay as a character of his own creation, Slobo, and get him to sign my Young Justice trades. Worth it.
There is no way you can resurrect people through cloning. You can copy their genetic structure, not their memories. In terms of souls, you just don't piss off Death, that's all that needs to be said. Also, #CloneGwenlives.
Actually I wanted Doc Ock to come back, as a ghost. I wanted to see Otto in the underworld or something and show how he grew as a person being Spider-man; but this? No I don't want this
I'm actually disappointed as well since I think that Ben Reilly as a compelling character. The often lamented Clone Saga actually makes his character shine since unlike Kaine or even Peter, he's usually the most level-headed and strive to help Peter despite their uneasy relationship. Like Thorgi, it's hard for me to reconcile the flawed yet ultimately noble character with his current incarnation. I think it's unwise to make him dark which would make him an "evil" clone of Peter like Kaine. It's also not clear whether Kaine's aware that the current Ben Reilly is a clone of the previous incarnation. If he does, then it doesn't make sense why Kaine hates Ben Reilly since he of all people should know that clones are not the same as the progenitor.
I have a similar feeling towards the X-Men. I grew up on their early 90s iteration. And although I'll never use that "ruined my childhood" line (because it's bloody stupid), I just can't view them as the same characters any more.
Justin Parallax Same goes for me. TAS is what introduced me to X-Men and while I've liked many iterations of X-Men since I got into X-Men comics I just can't view X-Men from the last few years as being the same characters anymore. X-Men I grew up with and loved are long gone and even if Marvel has recently seemingly renewed their interest in giving them new developments I fear that it's too little too late. At least for me anyway. But I'm content with that. Haven't really been that invested in X-Men comics for the past few years but that's okay. My X-Men will always live on in my memory and in the past issues.
Oh fuck four Spider-men (three of which look identical) they're all gonna fight aren't they.
Jack O Brien Of course!
If you like reading Peter David Spiderman stories, read the Sin-Eater saga. It was his best Spiderman story.
Can somebody please explain to me what's so great about "Spider-Island"? I've read that story several times and still find it to be decent at best.
its a fun and creative story written well enough for that time period
+Vedant Singh
Meh, I disagree. While it certainly isn't bad per say, I've never thought it deserved all of the praise it received. It has always come off as very average to me.
Masked Guy idk but i loved the secret wars spider island take on it.
Dan Slott = garbage water
great energy
Wasn't Kane stuck in silkworld after Spiderverse?
Faisal Hussain I thought he died.
If you're going to bring back Doc Ock, keep him as Superior Spidey IMO.
i liked everything except how often they make peter mess up why cant he ever be a problem solver why must he always pick up the pieces of his and others lives
Thorgi is so close to 20k subscribers :>
I support Ben Reily! Nuff said. Even if he is NOW a villian.....ugh....
Holy shit, taskmaster shield
Also it looks like Superior spider-man is going tear down his own company because peter parker is a complete and utter and idiot which is really starting to piss me off even more because wasn't the point of superior spider-man for otto to learn a lesson nope let's cut away that character development and make him a villian what the hell
I can tell you exactly what the hell:
[Dan Slott walks into editorial after completing the second part of C.Conspiracy]
"You wanted to see me?"
-Danny boy! How's my main man doing. Listen, great job telling everybody and their sisters to buy the Clone Conspiracy. Nevermind the "critics" and "hardcores", who are whining about their "continuity". You're doing Gods work, bringing back all of our properties... I mean "characters".
"Well thank you sir. I'm glad I can get recognized as the greatest Spider-Man writer ever, after fixing the Clone Saga."
[Crickets]
-Uh huh, sure. So, we got an assignment for you. You gotta bring Superior-Spiderman back. People really liked that, so now we're making more. Because we care about the fans.
"But... That story was finished. It's over. There's nothing more to add".
-Nonsense! It was popular. And when something is popular, stretching it out and artificially reproducing it way past its due is the correct thing to do. Don't worry, people won't realize what we're doing and drop the book like a bad habit. Just look at how successful the Clone Saga was! What could possibly go wrong!?
Tevya Smolka Aren't you a little curious to see how this plays out? The reason I like this and most of Dan's ideas is because he chases down the questions. How will Doc Ock act with hydra now that he has shown he can do good? Which side of him will win out? How will Anna Maria react to this new version of Otto? Does he have a chance with her? I mean, these are questions worth exploring if I've ever seen one. We already know the answer to who is the Superior Spider-Man, but can he succeed in being a Superior Octopus? And what does he mean when he says it?
it means nothing
Tevya Smolka What I mean is when he says he's the Superior Octopus, does he mean he'll be a morally better person, or does he mean a Doc Ock who's better at being a bad guy. It's ambiguous and therefor interesting.
i think he's going to be a bad guy but who knows
Kain Scarlet Spider, my nigga
time to start reading _renew your vows_
I like dan slott as the Spider-Man writer a lot actually
Dan slott got me back into comics
I heard Spider-Man died in the comics and doc ock was the new Spider-Man
I couldn't believe it and I thought that was stupid
But I wanted to try it out
So I picked up issue 14 of superior Spider-Man
And I was blown away actually
I really liked superior Spider-Man
It's one of my favorite Spider-Man runs
I was actually sad when Peter came back because I was enjoying ock as Spidey
I will say slott's run when Peter came back as eh
I didn't like it a lot
But I thought his all new all different/marvel now/whatever run was good
The industry run or whatever
I thought this run was good
Except the zodiac story that was bleh
But the rest I thought was good
Clone conspiracy was a little disappointing
But I still liked it
But I don't think ock should've been brought back to life
I think he should've stayed dead
I like his superior octopus thing
As you can tell by my pfp
But I still think he should've stayed dead
It doesn't bother me
But I wish he still stayed dead
I will say
Probably one of the only reasons I like dan slott so much is because he brought me back into comics
And the only full collections I have is his superior Spider-Man run
His run when Peter came back
And this run
At what it's at now
I know some people don't like his run and that's understandable
If you don't like it
Than you don't
Opinions are opinions
It's funny how my first spider man comic was superior spider man. Which if you don't know that isn't peter but doc ock in his body.
Amazing and nice
So Gwen Stacy (Clone) didn't have sex with Norman clone? Missed opportunity.
Enzo Matrix _Presumably there was no Norman clone, because Norman isn't dead atm._
I really have to STRONGLY disagree with Thorgi on one point, superior spiderman was AWESOME and I am so hyped that Doc Ock is back as the superior octopus. This will be fun.
Also, while the superior spiderman ending was solid, I still want MOAR. So I'm happy Doc Ock is back. :P In short, speak for yourself Thorgi. (with all due respect)
I'm happy that Superior Spider - man is back
Spoilers for Secret Empire!!!!!!
Doc Ock is not superior spider-man, he's going to be the face of Hydra as the superior Ock
We need a new writer for Peter. He used to be the best, recently though, he's been lackluster. Please marvel. Get rid of Dan Slott. I'm okay with the Parker Industries idea. But I don't like how Dan writes Peter. It's not the same. I feel like the best thing to do, is get a new writer, and bring Spidey back to his roots, and make him a friendly neighborhood hero. Not just the billionaire traveling the world saving people. That's what iron man does. Idk what I'm saying but please get Dan outta here
Hello
I kinda disagree with the fundamental metaphysical premise of this entire story, that we as human beings are just the sum total of the atoms that make up our physical bodies. The whole idea that resurrecting someone by cloning their bodies seems kinda hollow. The question of the would or simply what makes us uniquely ourselves is really complex and from a spiritual and scientific perspective, I just don't think that this holds up. Are we just the sum of our memories? Our experiences? Our physical bodies and chemicals in our brains? Identical twins are two separate people and we still don't understand the nature of human consciousness, let alone how or why humans have spiritual experiences. I have my own spiritual amd religious beliefs, but scientifically speaking, we can't fully explain these things and I don't really think the purely materialist, naturalist worldview about what human beings are and what makes an individual all of who they are does a sufficient and meaningful conclusion. I actually really liked the take on this story and these ideas from Douglas Earnst on his channel. I like the idea of delving into These complex topics, but in the way in which it was handled, I think it was really unsatisfying. I mean, Slott even contradicts this own premise with Otto taking the clone body, so not only is it unsatisfying and not deeply explored but it was inconsistent in its own logic.
Spoiler Alert--- THE SUPERIOR OCTOPUS IS ALIVE AND WELL NOW!!!
I DISAGREE I WANT OTTO BACK! YES, HIS SEND OFF WAS FUCKING BRILLIANT BUT HES GONNA COME STRONGER AND IF SLOTT WRITES HIM BAD NOBODY SHALL SPARE HIM. otto to me is ben to you...
Vedant Singh well dr ock is back and evil but is after peter Parker because he ruin Parker industry so in other words peter sucking at his job made doc ock evil again
Now you know how people feel about their Thor and their Iron Man and their Captain America.
They literally ruined your childhood. Lol.
The main reason I like Dan Slott, for Spider-man especially, is that he's fucking fearless. This idea that you can't write about something because it's "sacred" is a one-way ticket to boring, flat story lines. Spider Island, Spider-verse, Superior Spiderman, and The Clone Conspiracy wouldn't have happened if everything was treated sacredly. With characters as old as Spider-Man you need a guy like Dan Slott, who's able to think outside the box and cross those lines other writers are too afraid to cross, to give us new, exciting story arcs, sacred cows and "ruined childhoods" be damned.
Give me new, exciting, and emotional over the same boring shit any day of the week.
Dan Slott did nothing new to change the mold, you moron. A villain taking the place of the hero happened with Superman, Spider Island is basically New Krypton, Spiderverse is Crisis on Infinite Earth Spidey edition, and Clone Conspiracy is a condensed Clone Saga. Slott isn't "fearless" he's a hack. And even if he was, his writing still sucks. Pretty clear Slott is your first exposure to this kind of shit.
You know who a truly fearless Spider-Man writer is? Gerry Conway. He killed Gwen Stacy off back in the 1970s and refused to truly bring her back even after all of the backlash he received. And low and behold, that particular story arc went on to become a revolutionary classic in the comic industry. Plus, the bulk of Conway's work is far better than most of the material Dan Slott has written.
Masked Guy Yeah, people complained about what Gerry did and now they love it. Sounds familiar. People don't like change until it's done changing and they can assess the damage. Then it's canon.
Azure Saiyan Oh, jesus fucking christ, Dan Slott didn't invent the plot devices he uses so he's a hack? Pretty clear comic books are your only exposure to writing. Point to one book that uses a plot that isn't thousands of years old. Are the examples you presented similar? Sure (honestly I don't know, I don't read DC). Does it bother me? Not at all. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to enjoy a single fiction after the days of Homer.
@benfalken people still hate the clone saga, and one more day. change for change's sake is not only unnecessary, it often turns very bad.
Not watching the video yey. I just wanna if it's worth reading? I don't really follow the Marvel comics anymore.
Maybe I’ll be tracer
I’m already tracer
What about widowmaker
I’m already widowmaker
I’ll be bastion
Nerf bastion
You’re right so Winston
Im already Winston
I wanna be genji
I’m already genji
Then I’ll be mcree
I already chose mcree
Wow.... the reviews for this has been really bad. Keep it up with the bad reviews people and maybe they will stop with these stupid events.
I like this story LOL
I'm asking for Superior Spider-man
I hate superior Spider-Man more than one more day, yeah I went there.
yeah bad news superior spider-man is coming back
Tevya Smolka I know and he will also become a hydra agent as well.
yep that's right and apparently doctor octopus is going to take down parker industries because he built it and even he hates peter running his own empire
DeltaPrime350 one more day is peter Parker story but superior spider man was doc ock story so that isn't even a good connection between
Superior spider man was cool for one reason.
It wasn't peter who was spiderman.
I WANT UNCLE BEN BACK 😢
If uncle ben comes back then that means all comic characters can come back from the dead.
Cake# Yup!It's like bringing back Bruce Wayne parents or Barry Allen's mom and we all know how that turned out.
i liked clone conspiracy, dont care.
I...actually....would'nt mind more Superior Spiderman. :S
While I was always a fan of Spiderman due to the movies and the old 90s cartoon, I didnt start reading comics til much later. I started with Superior Spiderman and New 52 Batman. I greatly enjoyed it although I really dislike the artwork threw most of it. So I kinda look forward to it.
I never liked Ben Reily & I just wish they would put the whole clone thing to rest. As a conridiction to that I am excited to see what they do with Doc Ock as a superior clone ... love his new look!
Actually, I AM asking SS to come back. I love the guy.
An event that shouldn't of happened. Dan slott please move on from spidey you've turned into expired milk.
Also I'm tired of peter parker he's such a boring uninteresting character now a days. I rather read any other spider person. The original spider man is now the worst spider man. There were so many opportunities to get rid of him and have someone replace him and give us a breath of fresh air. Ben reilly would of been cool as the real spidey. We had another opportunity with doc ock spidey who was awesome and wasn't a workaholic like peter. But noooo spider man fans are afraid of change. Nothing is allowed to be new. Jfc
Cake# Yeah, I prefer a little diversity when needed. Am mean how many stories can you come up with the same character?
I honestly believe peter parker should of stopped being spider man at the reilly era. Its so damn annoying seeing him here twiddling his thumbs. Doing nothing special.
Cake# it's not character's fault it's just the writer. I wouldn't like for my favorite character to be sidelined by some cheap imitation
when the cheap imitation is better than the original. Face it peter parker serves no purpose in the marvel universe anymore. He's in his own little world.
If the once interesting character is now boring and stale, it is not him that have to go, but the writer and the people responsible for the creative decisions regarding him
