Love this guy, learned from scratch online with CPA, made it easier than thought, picked up so much technique with Joseph, such an excellent tutor!
Hey that means so much to me! I’m pleased my musical methods are helping you!
Not just a great player but a great teacher too. A pleasure to listen to. Thank you.
Thanks Jim. Means a lot!
Great new free video Joe. I've been a student at Creative for close to 3 years now. If your looking for an on-line teacher, he's the best!
Awesome. Glad to be of service!
A nice Video. Simple but sounds beautyful 😊
I love this technique to just sound beautiful. You can even use it to create famous piano songs. I show you a few in the video.

So soulful chord
Glad you like it!
Great to have you back again. You are an inspiring teacher and I love the way you keep it simple and melodic. Keep up the great work please
Awesome. Yep, i'm back. Regular vids will start appearing
He is BACK !!! Hooray
Certainly am!
This really is beautiful, and simple!
I could almost hear Lionel Ritchie's Endless Love 🎶
Yep very similar. Indeed you can replicate lots of famous melodies and piano licks using this method. I've boiled it down into a method here so anyone can use it. Of course there are other layers we can use on top of it.
You Are Awesome
Excellent teaching. Thank you for taking the time to share with us
Thank you for your kind words, it means a lot!
The GOAT is back. I’d love for you to expand more on Coldplay type of chords like you showed in your video from 2019-2020 I think and more Broken Chords/Melodic Playing ; for example your favourites intervals that you like to play in a melody. For me going up or down a perfect fifth always sound so beautiful no matter what, octaves etc.
I have all your courses and I am thankful because I became a better composer because of it.
Hey thats awesome! glad to have you onboard. Indeed i'll have a think about it. The perfect fifth is used all the time to create ear catching hook like sing-along style melodies.
Yes, please consider it especially the Coldplay’s Chord Voicings /Broken Chords/Appergio playing of Chris Martin. Would pay for a full course of it.
Welcome back Joseph! We Creative's have missed you! 🎹 👍 🎹
More to come!
Could instantly play it on my piano and it’s amazing. Thanks so much!
Yay!
You teach brilliantly for us learners thank you
My pleasure!
So clever. 👍
Glad you think so!
Woah never been this early!
Yay, you're the early club
I love your approach to music. 🌷
Good. Glad you enjoy it
Many thanks again with another super magic video
Glad you like it!
Absolutely beautiful. Very simply explained, just like the courses on your website.
Many thanks!
Sounds Wonderful, Thanks 👍
You're welcome!
so good...thank you !!!
You're welcome
Yay! CPA is back!
I am. Getting back into the youtube groove!
Modern keyboards have hundreds of patches and sample tones, I’m continually playing through them to learn which would go best with certain types of songs. Having simple, pleasing melodies as demonstrated in this video would be ideal to play to be able to critically listen to a sound one is auditioning.
They certainly do. I also get inspired by certain different sounds and new and different ideas come out.
Hi. I'm assuming this can be the G major scale? You'd be using the I IV V and vi notes to create music...
yes absolutely. you can move this into any key. Its the principle at play here so just swap out the notes into any new key.
I need to learn sheet music. I play tunes out of improv, but just can't read sheet music. I never took band class back in school.
Reading sheet music does indeed make the whole process a little easier as you have an extra common language to communicate in.
I probably need to go further back down your videos. It’s been a while. And I never was to good on chords. I am okay with the right hand. And I know a few chords. But just my hand trips up.. …
I also can not read music . Just as the day… play by ear..
Sure. i have loads here, loads in my membership and more coming.
