Yes it really upsets me how difficult they’re making considering that there’s millions and millions of products on Amazon that essentially need our help to sell so that Amazon can make money! This is why Jeff Bezos is the richest man in America.

I made over $150+ dollar in a day and got kicked out during the night. Later, I realised that I didn't add the link of the website on amazon through which I promoted the products. So, don't do these mistakes.😅✌️

@@naveenhustler Yes. I would suggest you to add the links of your social media handles too on the website section in amazon affiliate. This might save you from a lot of troubles in the future.
Didn't know what I was doing when I applied, I generated several sales in only a few days, but got kicked out right after. x) I was pretty much doing numbers 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6 without realizing they were bad 😂 Now after watching this video I can reapply confidently and do things right!

Hey - you should be able to find the watch later if you click on the 3 dots under this video. I don't use Woocommerce with affiliate links anymore as I don't think it adds much value. It's much better to put links within useful content, like articles. Good luck!
So, you have to post a disclaimer that says when people click on your links you will get paid, but you can't "encourage" people to click on your links because you will get paid. Yeah, that's a distinction without a difference. Way to go Amazon.

I did but don't understand. Your website/app/social media account includes an unapproved use of Amazon trademarked words, images, or reviews (which may include variations or misspellings). We do not allow the unapproved use of URLs, trademarks, logos, amazon web views etc. that include words that are trademarked by Amazon and this is a violation of our Trademark Guidelines.... I don’t understand. Where does it say you need a certain number of followers or subscribers? I’m putting people on their site to buy stuff. @@XOAliciaMarie Amazon definitely doesn't always send you a warning. They don't even send you an explanation. Usually you have to call or email for an answer about what little thing you did wrong.

Now I know the copying images from Amazon is correct and gets you banned, but when a seller upload a product image, it is on the assumption that they either own the copyright or the usage rights to use the images and in the case of a lot of the Chinese sellers they don't. Upon doing so, they grant Amazon and it's affiliates (us) the rights to use the said images, so I'm not sure how this can lead to a ban...but it obviously does in some cases. But Amazon only want you to use the Stripe images which are linked to the Amazon product...but we are not allowed to copy the image and link to it ourselves. #confused

Ok so it begs the question - what if you have a link out there you put and then got disqualified. If someone makes a purchase on that old link - does Amazon not provide the commission? That seems like it would incentivize amazon TO ABSOLUTELY disqualify linkers. That doesn't pass the sniff test and legality test in any country.

If you need to change your links in the future, maybe to a new ID because you sold your site, it can only be easily done in bulk if you use the long links..
Very interested in your last point, about (once you've successfully made it through the first 180 days and made it into the Affiliates program) "you need to keep making sales". Is there any basic rule of thumb there? Like "Make sure you have made at least 1 sale every [amount of time]."?

I use a link shortener, copy Amazon images to a photo editor, and then place them on my website. If I remove all links and images, can I reapply so I can use site stripe links and images?

Alex, long-time watcher, first time commenting. Great content! Question, is the AAWP plugin, the same as the Woozone? If so, do you like AAWP better? Is using a plugin like Woozone considered link cloaking? Also, are there any good budget alternatives to Ahrefs for keyword research?
Hey Geoff, good to hear from you. They are different. I don't use Woozone anymore, its an out-of-date way of creating Amazon sites. AAWP enables you to add products to content in tables etc. Nether of them link cloak.. For keyword research you should try Low Fruits (wpeagle.com/lowfruits).
I didn’t fully understand this that they sent “We noticed that you are not using tags associated with your store ID in any of the Amazon Special Links you have created on your websites. In addition to this, you do not have valid Amazon Special Links in any of your sites and thereby, we are unable to determine the source of traffic.” They take long to respond so I’ll just apply again. They also said I don’t have enough followers but no where does it list how many are ideal. Please help if you can.
How about if one promotes his affiliate link using a creative commons video from product reviewer's video on his youtube channel, but clearly states that its an affiliate link, is it still against Amazon rules?

Can you get absolutely no warning and I think this is just ridiculous. A warning or an opportunity to correct the mistake should totally be given.

Now I know the copying images from Amazon is correct and gets you banned, but when a seller upload a product image, it is on the assumption that they either own the copyright or the usage rights to use the images and in the case of a lot of the Chinese sellers they don't. Upon doing so, they grant Amazon and it's affiliates (us) the rights to use the said images, so I'm not sure how this can lead to a ban...but it obviously does in some cases. But Amazon only want you to use the Stripe images which are linked to the Amazon product...but we are not allowed to copy the image and link to it ourselves. #confused

Ok so it begs the question - what if you have a link out there you put and then got disqualified. If someone makes a purchase on that old link - does Amazon not provide the commission? That seems like it would incentivize amazon TO ABSOLUTELY disqualify linkers. That doesn't pass the sniff test and legality test in any country.

If you need to change your links in the future, maybe to a new ID because you sold your site, it can only be easily done in bulk if you use the long links..

I use a link shortener, copy Amazon images to a photo editor, and then place them on my website. If I remove all links and images, can I reapply so I can use site stripe links and images?

Hey Geoff, good to hear from you. They are different. I don't use Woozone anymore, its an out-of-date way of creating Amazon sites. AAWP enables you to add products to content in tables etc. Nether of them link cloak.. For keyword research you should try Low Fruits (wpeagle.com/lowfruits).

Seems your links are using someone else’s tag? Or maybe an old tag you deleted?
How about if one promotes his affiliate link using a creative commons video from product reviewer's video on his youtube channel, but clearly states that its an affiliate link, is it still against Amazon rules?
I think if you add the channel to your sites in Amazon you should be fine
