    just downloaded the mac version and when you get to the Device Config its totally different to your page and everything is grayed out and i cant do anything in there

    They need to update this app to native arm64 on macs. It consumes a lot of battery just by monitoring. iPad app on mac silicon doesn't have a problem though.

    Hello, I of course had no issue connecting to my dvr on the same network. The remote connection is the issue the connection keeps saying offline. Can you help me resolve this issue...

      Ensure the DVR is in DHCP in network settings. Then, go through the guide in the main menu and make sure you are using the QR code it gives you for the cloud serial number. Depending on age or model and firmware, if that does not work go back to the old port forwarding through your router and connect DVR by IP address.

    Hello, I downloaded the Mac version but when I open it by using the default ID and passcode, I was told that "User Not Exist"...could you advise a solution, please?

      Delete the program and download again. In the username and password login section after install, just hit continue. Don’t enter any passwords that has nothing to do with your recorder it’s just a password for the desktop app. You can change it once logged in.

    Hello, thanks for your explanation :) Could you help me please? I am using XMeye VMS (Mac version) and can add my DVR using its static IP, then I go and copy the serial which is a 20 characters serial. Then I cannot add the same DVR in cloud mode using this number because adding only allows 16 characters serial. Don't know if this only a problem in the Mac version...

    When i try to insert the CloudID (my cloudID starts with the letter U) it doesn't allow me to write it :( if I type "E" and other numbers yes but the U no :(

    Under the connect part it says invalid password does the password to initially signin to the program matter cause I have no idea what that password is

    Hey, can you tell me if a Mi EC3 cam will work with this software? And, if not what camera would you recommend?

      I believe those cameras only use the Mi Smart Security Camera Software for PC. I had a client who had one not long ago and we got rid of it as the software was only in chinese. The XMeye PC program will only work with cameras with their chipset, so unfortunetly you wouldnt be able to attach a Mi EC3 to it.

      @@WentworthCCTV It is a cheap Chinese camera, I think I will try to change it to another network and see how it works, this camera uses the ICSEE app for Android and I use VMS for PC via cloudid. I have a few cams and they all work well.

    Hi there
    I have "Pass Status" showing green.. But in "Connect" shows 'Invalid Password'.
    I already have changed password and tried again.. But still the same
    The user and password works in the APP, but not in the PC
    How do i fix this?

    VMS Does it require any optional windows features? vms does not show video in real time, but it does allow you to record it and view it with another player. It looks like an internal codec error with VMS. Does anyone have a solution to this?

    Hello my friend. What are the default credentials? I put admin for user and password, but it doesn't work. Says user does not exist.

    I have 2 xm cameras to a XM nvr how do you change the cameras to static ip? ip changes as they both on DHCP auto assign. ? they use netip and support onvif.. weird is one camera has 2 ips assigned. one for netip by looks and one for onvif?

      You would plug the camera into a PoE switch and log into it. Once logged in (user name is admin and password is blank by default), Go to network settings and select static vs. DHCP. Those XMEYE NVRs are a mess with that guide they have. Its very confusing so it is better to put the cameras in static by logging into them individually. I would also go into user and put in a password, you dont want any networked device on your network with a default password.

      ​@@WentworthCCTV that dont work with latest ip cameras with NETIp and onvif xm seems via wire you change it to static for wired only the wifi lan is one a separate interface and gets auto assigned... the way I got around it is to login to router and reserve the ip all routers have some form.. mine limited to 10 ips only for some reason. but its enough to work with cameras, Ibelieve an app onvif paid ver offers info on both lan0 and lan1 od camera and change it to static.. their xmeye icsee apps dont offer only change wifi AP connect to.

      @@WentworthCCTV reserving ip from dhcp means it aLWAYS LEASED THE SAME IP BASED on mac address of LAN card. for those wondering what I meant.
