Happy extended Halloween! The original plan was for Red/Blue version to be a simultaneous release but it's probably better this way, it gave me a little more time to polish this up and gave the clear incentive to watch Blue version first (Which is the recommended viewing order). This was a fun little side-project, and for folks who inevitably ask me about what I'm working on next, here it is!
1. An editing job for RUclipsr NicoB's "Council of Voices"! A very big project and is taking up a lot of my time, hence the break between videos!
2. As was voted on by my patrons, Back to the Future Trilogy But Really Really Fast!
3. And yes, JoJo's Part 5 But Really Really Fast after that!
4?. I'm also working on a fun side project- Animating the entirety of the Dinosaurchestra Lemon Demon album! It's gonna be a lot of work and I intend on hiring a bunch of artists for work on it, but it's not my current focus!

I love how the "Let's see how lucky I'll be" is accurate, I got jumpscared by Freddy on Night 7 not even halfway through Freddy's song, despite no movement at all
moving or not moving doesnt actually matter
When does he say that
Movement does nothing, and it’s a random chance, the first stage lasts at minimum 5 seconds, and max of 20, second lasts the same, and third lasts for a min of 2 seconds and a max of 10. Meaning you last anywhere from 12-50 seconds.

I like to think that in the alternate ending of sister location, mike is genuinely scared all the way up until he gets to the security room where he sees that he's in his element once again, sits down, puts his feet up on the desk, and lets the fun begin

i love how the blue version is how everyone felt while playing fnaf back around the time it first became very popular, and the red version is the experienced player playing through the game again now just for "thrills"
As someone who's never played fnaf, or even watched anyone play it, I had no idea what was going on but I still loved it
Look up the lore and play the games through the releases of the franchise then you will understand

I love how the red version represents a returning player who knows the lore, while the blue version represents a scared newcomer :D
Rewatching this and marvelling at how designs so simplified still have so much thought put into them, between specific shapes and color-choices to even the basic position of eyes in the animation: at 2:42 there's a moment where our security guard moves his eyes like a handful of pixels and it completely changes the way it reads from looking basically down and forward to staring DIRECTLY at Freddy's face. I love the effort you put into these, even if they might seem 'cheap' on a surface-level.

1:08 love how this is an actual thing you can do (for those who don’t know, if Bonnie disables your doors and lights, you can put your camera on and stall for 6AM for I think 30 seconds until Bonnie pulls it down)
Wait he can disable your doors and lights? I knew the 30 seconds stalling but one night goes 9 minutes and 30 seconds so you can only stall 1/3 of an ingame hour.
But disabling the doors and lights seems a bit unfair

Marvellous work on animating and voicing both the Blue version of this animated short and this version! I love how both versions portray the night-watch guard protagonist differently! Having watched the Blue version first, this version really shows how much the protagonist has grown since then, from the unprepared nervous wreck he was to the fearless, battle-hardened veteran he is now! This man is extremely lucky, because if foxy hits the door twice it drains to much power, and then the chance for scusses is under 5% I think.
Foxy drains 1% first time and i belive 5% is added everytime after and foxy will be stalled for looking at cams quickly you dont even need to look at pirates cove so checking for freddy and using door lights for thr other 2 pretty much give you a solid chance if you play near perfect

Something not everyone noticed is the time Freddy takes to jumpscare the guard at the 7th night which is about 50 seconds.
Now some of you may not know that the time Freddy takes each time the lights go out ranges from 12 seconds to 50 seconds, the latter being the longest and luckiest thing to happen in FNAF1.
So the guard was that lucky to get 50 seconds of Freddy AI trying to decide when to jumpscare him
Amazing how accurate this is from both a lore and gameplay standard. Amazing video. Blue version is also great

Also,for those that just came into the FNaF fandom and don't know what the numbers under the Nights are,let me explain(shout outs to Tech Rules):
The way in which the animatronics move is based on a mechanic called "Movement Opportunity",which is like this:the AI will choose a random number from 1 to 20,and if that number is lower than any of the four animatronics:Bonnie,Chica,Foxy and Freddy,they will be allowed to move,and if two or more animatronics have a number that is equal or higher than the number the AI chose:the animatronic with the highest number will move first,have a cooldown,and then the other one will move and so on(if I remember correctly).Foxy's Movement Opportunity mechanic works a little different,but there's no need to get into that. And since 20 is the highest number,that means EVERY single animatronic will have a guaranteed chance to move.
TL;DR, animatronics play D&D to move.

This doesn’t completely make sense but here’s what I can approximate.
He got through 2 cycles of Phase 1, before Phase 2 started. Phase 2 lasted for about 3 cycles before the lights went out. Then our hero has the GODLY powers to prevent a jumpscare from happening for 11 cycles. That is actually insanely lucky.
Of course this is counting in video time, not the actual time spent in the video, since the gameplay is sped up, I can’t be for certain.
However I can draw that was 5 AM when the power went out.
