- Who knew there were such amazing views to see driving through France, I certainly didn't that's for sure but this week driving the motorhome was quite hard in all honesty, trying not to stop and take in each view every 10 minutes was pretty hard, so many great views to admire.
After driving through them amazing roads, it was time to hit a french hypermarket and explore it fully and boy oh boy they are flipping HUGE and have everything you could think of, great fun but quite overwhelming to be fair.

You had me in fits, when you were in the supermarket… it’s a good job you were shopping on your own, with someone you would have been asked to leave because of laughing so much…. I also remember seeing the car covered in bugs.. use to see them splat on the windscreen…

I used to live in Clermont-Ferrand, it is a beautiful place

Hello Darren,France looks lovely. It`s mostly the Agricultural pesticides that have decimated our UK insects. It is worrying as they are obviously part of the food chain. Still I bet your life is sweet driving through Europe.

What sim card did you get.
Another SIM on the "Free" network. Back in episode 1, we both got Free SIMs, however use outside France was limited and Daz used his up. To avoid paying a charge to re-acivate the original SIM, he got a new one. 😂

Daz has roaming on his phone. The motorhome has a dedicated internet connection for the security system - that needed a separate local SIM.
You need to get a motorbike Darren. You'll be bug-collecting again easily.

Hi Darren I hope your enjoying yourself on tour.
After my marriage breakup last March I gave up my lorry driving job & relocated back to kent & I haven't worked since & really don't miss driving lorrys that's for sure.
I too am type 2 diabetic but have had awful experiences with 2 doctors & I don't like taking medication.
I've seen on RUclips ect so much about diabetes control that its information overload.
I had a blood test 1 week ago & my blood sugars are 80 so still high & unfortunately doctors don't advise you about what diet or any other ways if controlling diabetes & just want to prescribe medication.
How do you get your blood sugars down so quickly.
I've already gone from a 38 inch waist down to a 32 inch waist when my wife took my 15 year old son & went to live with her parents.
I guess that was because of the stress I was under at the time with the breakup & having to sell our house.
Keep up the good work Darren though I do miss how you were when in England & being a fellow driver though at least you haven't got to do any cpc bullshit anymore which we all hate doing & all because it was forced upon us by the criminal Eu.
Daz has mentioned the "Keto" diet on the channel. I did Keto for a year. I'm aware of some people using the diet to manage diabetes. Probably worth doing some research on it yourself and perhaps talk to a dietitian or your diabetes nurse. 😎
