From the album, "Nimmons'n'Braid Falling Through" originally recorded by Glen Tilley for broadcast on CBC's "The Signal". The album was later published in a limited edition booklet of photographs by Nathan Wirth.
This is the final improvisation of a concert at Petro Canada Hall, Memorial University of Newfoundland in St. John's, Canada.
Between 2004 and 2019, this duo only performed spontaneous music - improvisation without any previous discussion of structure.
Their first recording, “Beginnings” (2004) documents their first performance together. "Beginnings" is a rare, unedited representation of acoustic music created spontaneously by two Canadian composers separated in age by more that 50 years. Between 2004-2018 they travelled together all over Canada, performing roughly 100 concerts from Newfoundland to British Columbia and up to the Yukon.
