Just saw this tutorial. Very good and helpful. You touched on many aspects that will help me improve my editing. I especially did not know about the cutting right / left functions and was having some difficulty just using the razor blade function.
Great step by step on how to edit a video with Cap cut. I have filmora, but the process are very similar. Put something out on compressing the video size for emails or different platforms. I appreciate your site and keep making these informative videos.
Is there any way to change 4000x3000 pixels to 16:9 in that software? I would think being able to start with that much resolution, that you'd be able to chop out 1920x1080 from your video and have some flexibility in your shooting. Unfortunately my drone's sensor is not cinematic in nature and I'm wondering if the output can be made cinematic through software?
I thought all your walk-through steps on how to make money with a Drone were really great. I am actually considering to start making money with a drone that I am about to buy, but of course I am going to first learn as much as I can about my drone and then get the 107 drone license. You really helped to really believe that it is possible to do all this and more. One thing that I wish you would of explained is on the contracts that you present you clients if you also include a detailed explanation on the contracts that you do with your clients if you give the client the option of editing the videos to their liking or not? And how much you would roughly charge for the video editing process as well?
Thanks for watching! I actually have a couple of contract options you should check out here: jonathanrichey.gumroad.com/ Everyone charges for services a bit differently. I know some people who charge a day rate and some who charge per hour. Pricing is dependent on your skill level, where you live, what others in your area are charging, etc. so what I charge will be different than what you charge.
What do you struggle with the most when it comes to editing videos?
The editing was spot on. Thanks

Excellent information. Does Cap Cut have a transition capability from one clip to the next? Thanks!
Yes! There is a Transitions tab at the top. It really is a powerful tool-can’t believe it’s free!
