Thomas Mims the evertune makes scale length not an issue, that’s why Matt heafy’s 7 string can be 24.75

Yeah but it has only a 27 scale. Not good. It needs atlest 29inch scale to be a true djent machine.

One day when I stop impulse buying crap, I will save up and buy a Solar guitar. There are so many beautiful finishes, the build quality seems great and the pickups always strike me as being very versatile. Also, Ola is awesome and I'd love to support his business. Thanks for the unboxing and tripped out Metallica! 👍
Chris S you might as well sell some “crap” and buy a Solar. I own 3 and am getting rid of everything else because even my $1,200 guitars don’t compare to the $600 Solar I own 🤘🏻

All i hear is the signature cocked wah whistling/noisy nameless plugin, tried forever to tame it and when you eq the bad stuff out the remaining tone is just scooped and lifeless :(

I've owned probably 10 8 strings from many different brands in my life and they have always been 27" and it's never been an issue.
Never heard a 8 Stringer being happy with a 27 scale after playng a 29 or 30 scale 8 string

Did you give it a setup before the test? My A1.8C needed a slight truss rod adjustment, pickup height adjustment, and action adjustment.

I’m torn between going to A2.7 route to save some cash or going the A1.7 FR FB for the Floyd and flamed top. I had a Washburn solar V-7 and still to this day it’s the only guitar I kick myself for getting rid of. If these are anywhere near the quality of the old washburns then I’m sure I’ll be satisfied either way.

Hey, will a 7 with EverTune reliably tune down to E? I like the sound of my 8-string, but the width of the neck is a bit more than I'd like. I know you tune all over the damn place, so figured you might have a good answer
I have three guitars with evertune tuned to Drop E, so yep!

Did you have to pay shipping. I live in Port Moody and I really want one, the shipping seems crazy though, with a case? I see it might be almost 300 to ship? Not sure
Shipping won't be much but the import fees are quite high, as with anything you import into Canada. I think this one was like $250 in duty fees

looks rear cheap to me. finish looks bad. for that price no stainless and nickle frets. i wanted to get one till i watched the video. also no floyd or active pickups. Can build a super nice warmoth to my specs for same price with black burst finish, dont dig the matte finish on ash. but just my 2 cents.
