The Punisher himself is such a sad and deeply broken person that doesn't want to be the weapon that he is but will use his lethal skills it because he doesn't see himself being able to do anything else to fix the wrongs of this world. This song, the way this video is put together, really echoes that sentiment in him.

He wanted him to eventually move on from his parent's murder and live his life unlike Bruce is able to do. He took on Jason Todd, because he had hope of a brighter future for him than being a criminal. He could use his moves to be a hero, because Bruce didn't want to one day have to take down this kid if he continues on the path of doing illegal things. Same for the Joker, Bruce has hope that the Joker can change. Is his hope misplaces and futile? No doubt! But that's the thing about Bruce, he has too much hope. He longs for Arkham to work and be able to rehabilitate villans. He offers the choice to Joker so many times and continues to try to put as much funding as he can into it, because he wants Gotham to be better. If you just keep killing the villans, they'll just keep being new ones that come and you'll end up dominating through fear. That's why he doesn't believe in killing. Killing will just lead to more killing and cycle never ends. He doesn't want his killing to lead to another little boy losing their parents.

Phylyp Dečuk You miss my point. The majority of baddies - he just out right kills. The recurring baddy problem is worse for the punisher than it is for Deadpool. If a badguy SURVIVES an encounter/story with The Punisher, it's usually because the Punisher had to pick between a deadlier badguy to pursue, Or the surviving badguy in question managed to pull strings so that he wasn't directly in the Punisher's path. Either way, there's a lot of hiding, running, and fearing for ones life involved. And that can only happen so many times before Punisher eventually catches the bad and kills the phunk out of him/her.

Thomas Jane was pretty good but that depiction of the punisher was pretty tame tbh. Torturing someone with a popsicle, I don't think thats the punishers style. Jon Bernthals punisher is much darker and more in line with the comics.

I haven't watched Daredevil yet, but the Punisher is one of my favorite Comic characters. I won't say the specific sorry number of comics I have read and enjoyed, but the Punisher has been about a third of them. This song is perfect for the character.

Thomas Jane was pretty good but that depiction of the punisher was pretty tame tbh. Torturing someone with a popsicle, I don't think thats the punishers style. Jon Bernthals punisher is much darker and more in line with the comics.

That may be. But there is like 12301023 different versions of the Punisher and equally as many continuities and canons, some more hardcore than others. I happen to enjoy the uncompromisingly brutal versions of the Punisher, like Jon Bernthals Punisher.

I haven't watched Daredevil yet, but the Punisher is one of my favorite Comic characters. I won't say the specific sorry number of comics I have read and enjoyed, but the Punisher has been about a third of them. This song is perfect for the character.
