- Again just bored in work and thought I would combine one of my favourite tv shows on Netflix the punisher ( with a cheeky bit of daredevil in there ) with one of my favourite game soundtracks off all time Doom Eternal well anyway enjoy !

I love Frank for exactly this reason. He is a simple man, a machine of rage. And I always root for him!

Punisher is a rare example of character where all movie and TV versions are just great, for different reasons. No matter which one is your preferred, you chose well.
The Dolph Lundgren version not so much.
I love punisher but that ain't so true. punisher can be the best and worst character you can use for a show. because one frank becomes "the punisher" he is just a killer. that's y the 2nd season put Amy on it so we could see frank being emotional.
No. No punisher has been done well. Not one. That is because frank castle isn't human. Hollywood is obsessed with making every character, in any franchise, appeal to ll demographics, which is not possible when you become a literal one dimensional killing machine; you cannot cry your little eyes out, on between planning and executing precise strike operations against global crime syndicates.

This is a great example of how this music doesn’t follow him because he’s the protagonist. The music follows him because it’s scared of what will happen if it doesn’t.

The punisher is just one of those shows that is strangely wholesome that I can watch over and over again.
Yup watched it about 5/6 times all the way through !
I was so annoyed by Amy in S2 but also she grew to be lovable in her own right and Castle gradually began to see her as a child that needed protection and training in the life he was leading. So yeah, wholesome in the weirdest way but, I came to see a little of my own arrogant teenage self in her, so damn. All the writers and directors really pulled it out
This reminds me how good punisher actually was and the music fits sooooo good 👍
One of the best action shows I’ve watched hopefully Jon gets to come back to reprise the role loved him as frank castle

You ever been tazed? Hurts like a bitch and it's hard not to basically seize up. But if you're angry enough you'll just barely have enough willpower to rip them shits out quickly, which also hurts, but again you wont feel it until after. All in all, not a fun experience, especcially when they're using a tazer to fucking rob you. 0/10 would not recommend

No powers, no blessings. Only raw vindicative anger. It was only on the "reboot" where he became truly supernatural. But originally he was just a very pissed off marine.

They decided to make a separate Punisher series after Jon Bernthal so successfully portrayed this character in daredevil s2. But there had no been such a plan initially. So, yes. It is definitely a must watch. My favorite among all the other Marvel Netflix series.

I like how wt 5:42, Frank barely even flinches when slapped instead of his head swinging to the right like in most movies. Not saying anything about how other movies do it, just noticing a nice attention to detail since we all know that Frank Castle is a walking tank of a man 😂
I absolutely love how brutally beaten he can get and still come out victorious. Like both eyes swelling cut in his leg broken arm and probably ribs and he is like nah it's fine.
That's one of the things about Frank that makes him terrifying, his pain tolerance is basically super human. Nick Fury in the comics even mentions it.

There is just something amazing as Jon portrays one of the most coolest and deadliest Marvel characters in a series and doing it so much better than the the movie versions. Definitely an incredible series to watch though.
