They write, compose, produce, and choreograph all of their own stuff. The have lots of input every aspect of their music, including merch design, costuming, set design, etc. Some of them have started learning video directing and editing and photography, too. They put out TONS of content that they come up with themselves. They have an on going show called Going Seventeen as well as a “behind the scene” show called “Behind Seventeen”. Individual members have their own ongoing VLive shows. They are super active on their fan cafe and chat with Carats regularly. There is stuff to watch everyday! Besides, their talent, they are the nicest guys and they have this crazy close bond with each other. They also love their fans like crazy. They’ve written many songs for us (Smile Flower, Thanks, Campfire, Hug, to name a few). Since they have such creative license, they are free to explore and create many styles of music and choreography. But everything they put out sounds very “Seventeen”. The first guy that you thought looked like a vampire is Vernon, his Korean name is Hansol. He is mixed, his mother is American, and his father is Korean. He was born in New York, but they moved to Korea when he was 5 years old, so he said he remembers nothing. He got bullied in school and got called a 'halfter' and stuff like that, so at 10 years old he was really educated about race and discrimination. Carats and Vernon himself don't like if people label him only as an American and ignore the fact that he is Korean too. I've seen it happen. He gets called a foreigner a lot, even though he grew up in Korea and is more culturally Korean. There's also another Korean-American, his name is Joshua (he was the one who was covered in glitter at the beginning) he is a proud American lol. He's from LA, California, and his family are still there so they haven't moved. He spoke Korean, but didn't know how to write or read it at all. They also have two Chinese members, Jun (Wen Junhui) and The8 (Xu Minghao).

They are safe youngest is 21 oldest members are 24. I had to go look after watching this lol. Dont know alot about them but have enjoyed some of their songs too.
His name is Hansol Vernon Chwe he just turned 22 and yes he is mixed he is 1/2 Korean 1/2 Caucasian American. He is one of the younger members in the group.
